We came here to get some new hiking shoes and were not disappointed. There was a wide selection, and we got a pair of red sneakers which were comfy. We also found a camelback, and leggings that were on sale. The leggings and camelback were on sale, and very affordable. Some of the other regularly priced items were a little expensive but the brands offered were mostly known to be good dependable products. Some of the brands I am unfamiliar with. The employees were abound and I think 4-6 asked me in a short time if I was finding everything. The cashier was quick, and kind. Overall I would absolutely return here for my athletic items. Dick's sporting goods is a chain carrying premium priced items for sale. I seldom go here unless there is something I absolute need. This location is on two levels and when someone asked me what I wanted I was directed to a sales man to help me. In this case I needed heated gloves. He brought out a few pair in men's sizes but didn't seem to have too many in women's sizes. When it comes to purchasing gloves you just can't go by the measurements of your hand. My salesman was kind enough to let me try on a few for fit and I was able to get my correct size. I found that the pair I wanted wasn't available in the store in a women's size so he ended up ordering it online for me. What made it nice was that the store price was cheaper than the online price so he price matched that for me. Dick's does do price matching if you see something somewhere else. They carry all types of sporting goods for all seasons as well as clothes, shoes, and sporting goods accessories. My battery operated heated gloves has a two month return window on them which will give me an opportunity to see how they work in cold weather. Don't buy a nishiki bicycle from dicks. They bought the rights to exclusively sell them but can't get any repair parts that are not interchangeable with other brands. I contacted dicks corporate office, a representative took all my info and said they would get back to me in 8 to 10 weeks, which they never did. I called again, the representative said they would upgrade my case. Needless to say, I was not contacted again. I wonder if Ed Stack knows or cares about how his customers are treated. read more

Bought some bikes today and Brennan was so helpful! He explained them all to us and told us about the different types and price points. I had no idea that level of knowledge would be available to help us decide. Happy we didn't go to Walmart or somewhere instead! While I used to enjoy shopping here, I would never recommend shopping here. The prices are outrageous, and they con you with their credit cards. I have had a credit card with this company for over two years and I missed ONE payment accidentally and they raised my minimum payment from 127 dollars to 284 dollars for a minimum of six months with ZERO warning. Again, after being a loyal customer for two years and never missing a payment before this, they were absolutely rude on the phone and didn't even attempt to help me in any way. Wow this place is pricey. I went in looking for a new jacket that would actually shield me from the Pennsylvania cold and left with nothing. I feel as though this store was trying to pull the wool over my eyes. The prices that I was seeing for these coats was horrendously high: $150, $175, $225, and up. Maybe had some of them at least been aesthetically appealing I would have considered a bit more; but the entire selection required that you either be an avid sports fan or that you look like you are about to jump boat. Dicks is now managing signups for kids sports teams via its "bluesombrero" division. While this appears nice, it is a truly scary gathering up of CHILDREN'S PRIVATE INFORMATION including birthdate, grade, school, gender. Dick's privacy policy spells out that Dick's can pretty much do anything with this info for the rest of my child's life. What a marketing windfall. The only alternative is for my child not to sign up for the team, at all. There is no opt-out, no erasing the information after the season. Corinphean Mitchell this is for you. This lady was absolutely the worst customer service I've ever seen! She was short she was very rude and had her mind made up before she even talked to me. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I bought A kayak on May 23, 2020. My tracking number stated that my shipment would be delivered June 8, 2020. I did not receive it until 4:00pm today. I called The freight service about four times to track my order and they stated they couldn't find it. The literally lost my order! This was for my husband's birthday and he didn't even get it in time! When i call The sporting goods yesterday they lady i spoke To told me that she was refunding my money and was personally going to call the freight service and see if she couldn't work it out. Our connection was lost and she never called me back. So today i called (Still at this point did NOt have my kayak) and they told me that in no way shape or form was they giving me my money back. She said since i receved It today that she did not care that it was late. She stated that it was not her problem or her fault! I'm so so upset. I have NEVER had such bad customer service in my life. I really Hope if you are reading this you buy from somewhere else! I understand Bad days happen but this is unacceptable. I do agree that the store maybe a little bit pricey but it's a chain and it's exactly what you would expect from a Dicks' s sporting good store. Their selection is excellent. The shoe dept is huge. This is a two- level store with camping and hunting and fishing and golf items upstairs. Sales associates are pretty knowledgeable. If they don't have what you want at the store, you can order it online or have it shipped from another store. They run some pretty good sales, especially at Black Friday. I like the location because it it is attached to a mall so it is very convenient. I just bought a hitch bike rack and some folding chairs and the sales associate let me use a 20 percent off coupon that I found online that had no date so I will post it here. The price for the bike rack actually rang up wrong but when I told him it was on sale, which it was, and told him the sale price, he honored it without question. read more

I knew what I wanted, and the first gentleman was very pleasant and helpful, but admitted to not knowing much on the outdoors items for which I was hunting, so he sent another man to help me. They had two of the three things in store, and he literally refused to help me find the third... Neither to order or substitute. Then he chuckled and walked away. So I put all my other items back. Which I had already set myself on buying another $200 worth of merchandise and was considering opening a credit account. Over the past year I've spent well over $1000.00 at the Dicks sporting in the mall at Robinson so when I took my youngest to buy a pair of shoes for volleyball figured this was the place to try. Searched online found the shoe had them hold for me, went to check them out had to walk around an almost empty store to find some help when I did find someone they got the shoes had my youngest try them on they didn't fit had to again walk around to find help after about 20 minute we left very frustrated. read more
