Bar's not open, don't want to pay to hit range balls, don't want to hit putts, just want to golf. No one's on the tee box and there's only two of us. I say hey, could we go now? He's like no there's two other groups in front of you. Okay fine. So we drive up the cart path to the tee box. We're not on the tee box, we don't have clubs in our hand we are just sitting in our cart. The first of the two groups that are in front of us are three guys. They pull up, walk up to the tee box, take some loosen up practice swings and look at us and say, do you guys want to go ahead of us because you're only at twosome? I say no. I guess there's you guys and another group in front of us. We're just waiting until it's our turn. This tattooed joker, unprofessionally, makes it a point to come out from behind the cash register, jump our s*** in front of the group that is on the t-box and tell us, you can't sit here waiting because being on the t-box will scare groups off that are showing up behind us. I look at the guy that asked us if I wanted to play through and said, well I guess we can't sit here. Him and the other two guys in his group (all look like they're in their early to mid fifties) say, are you s******* me? I've never heard that in my entire life. Tattoo boy then proceeds to tell me I know nothing about golf, (even though I've been golfing more years than he's been alive) and says it's common practice that you don't sit waiting in queue on the cart path leading up to the tee box. I says, o.k. if we can't sit here, where exactly is the staging area for people that are waiting to play? He makes us drive a whole 50 ft to sit by where the rest of the rental carts were staged. (50ft BIG DIFFERENCE) I look at their scorecard and read their rules of play and etiquette. Nowhere does it say that you can't stage yourself or sit in your cart on the cart approach of the tee box. Mind you, the people on this nine are probably in for a 2.5 or 2.75 hr round but that's of no consequence to him. He's more worried about us sitting in queue waiting to tee off than the actual pace of play on the course. After that spectacle of unprofessionalism, my partner and I look at each other and decide that we'll be God damned if we're going to waste or spend a dime of my hard earned money here. We take our clubs to the car. I go into the clubhouse and tell him I want the number of someone above him that I could talk to. Unprofessionally he refuses which I don't understand because if you don't feel you have done anything wrong why should you care who I talk to? after repeatedly refusing my request to be connected with somebody above him, which I have on video, he tells me to get off the property. I request a refund. He then says, we don't do refunds we do rain checks. Wait, if you want me off your property, and obviously after this bullshit there's 0% I'm never coming back again, why are you offering me a rain check that'll never get used nor would I give to anybody else, because until the day I die I'm going to steer everyone I know away from this place? I said I'll tell you what kid, I'm going to call my credit card company, and in 2 minutes I'll have this charge voided. Miraculously boom I get my refund. Again, I ask for his boss's number, again he refuses. I have video of his constant and insistent refusal to give me his boss's number. He says, I'll call him if you stop filming. I says, I don't want to be on a three-way call with your boss on your phone. I want to tell my side of the story without you interjecting and I'm not going to stop filming because I want record of you refusing to let me talk to somebody that's separate from the situation, is more professional and has a cooler head and can rectify this, He sneaks into a side room and calls his boss (have video) and starts making up a bunch of b******* and weaving this story of lies saying that we jumped tee times and I was pissed and slammed on my brakes in the cart lot to make me look bad and try to get out ahead of something he was clearly over his head on. I wasn't pissed. The insignificance of this punk isn't nearly enough to get me angry. I was put out and taken aback by his repeated unprofessionalism and disagreeable nature. His impotent power trip just a major annoyance getting in the way of me and my partner enjoying a little golf on our day off. So after telling his fairy tale, he says his boss will be down here and then I can talk to him in person. As much as I would have loved to, I've already made a tee time somewhere else 20 minutes away and that's a half an hour from now. I'm not playing games and giving my money to a rinky dink Mickey mouse outfit like this and anybody else reading this shouldn't either. AVOID AVOID AVOID Westhaven Golf Club until they get some professionals to represent them.

In no time at all it was looked at and a new carrier was ordered. Why shop local? THIS IS WHY!! Their experience and customer service are exceptional. We bought our bicycles and carrier at Cranked Bike Studio, if we need anything - we have no doubt they are there to help.

Giving Cranked Bike Studio a one-star review is a truly fair review in my opinion, and one they…read morehave worked hard to earn. At the end of last summer (2025) I ran into a structural problem with my bike, that I brought off of Amazon, luckily for me the warranty gave me a new frame, however I had to find a place who could replace the frame. So, I reached out to Cranked Bike Studio, and they replaced the frame. However, due to the delay in getting the part from China by the time I got the bike back it was just too cold to ride it, so I stored the bike away until this past April when we had good days to ride the bike. I only got to ride the bike for one week and 67 miles, before the pedal assist went out, and the brakes would make a loud noise at 20 miles per hour or faster. I brought the bike back into Cranked Bike Studio. Explained to them they had done the frame swap/ rebuild and this is my first week riding the bike since then, told them the pedals assist isn't working, and the brakes are noisy at high speeds. So they said they will check it out and it would be a bit more than a week. Nearly three weeks later they reached out to let me know the bike is ready. They explained the PSA assist stop working because the pedals were loose, this really was the true cause of the issue. I asked about the breaks. He told me that they didn't know I had reported an issue with the breaks, and said sometimes they are not great at their in-take process. So I asked could they check out the breaks before I come to pick up the bike. He had then started to tell me that breaks are just noisy, clearly conveying they didn't want to work on the bike any further. In my head all I can think is this is a safety issue. I can't ride this bike until I know these brakes are safe. I am going to have to take it to another shop. So then I asked about what the charge is for fixing the bike. He explained because they only needed to tighten the bike pedals, they were going to charge me the $125 inspection fee and no labor cost, giving me a deal on the repair. So I am thinking about this, I am getting charged for a $125 inspection fee, but you're unwilling to inspect my breaks to see if my bike is safe to ride. Maybe this same thought clicked in his mind because he then said, we will check out the noisy breaks, as they are pretty easy to quiet. So are the breaks on my bike safe or did they just quiet them? So the next day I arrived. They assured me the pedals are nice and tight, how they should last a good while, as I assumed they would have done when they rebuilt the bike, and they explained it was the vibration of the bike that loosen the pedals. They explained how they cleaned up the breaks and they were nice and quiet now. So I decided to explained to them for the second time how had paid over $400 for a frame swap/ rebuild, they were the ones that rebuilt the bike, last ones that tightened up the pedals, and the last ones to reassembled my breaks. So I had clearly pointed out after riding the bike for one week and for only 67 miles it hard to believe that it was the vibration that loosen the pedals. With this new information the employee then decided to cut me an even better deal instead of charging me $125 for the bike inspection fee they charge me $56 for fixing the breaks and to have the pedals tightened. Reflecting back to the phone conversation the day before. Are the breaks fixed or just quieted? Is my bike safe to ride? Did this small bike studio open themselves up to a potential personal injury lawsuit? So to recap, I left Cranked Bike Studio paying them for the Improper job they did rebuilding my bike. Had my Intelligence insulted by being told the pedals became lose from vibration, and that noisy breaks are simply not worth inspecting. All of this has communicated to me, and hopefully to you as a reader. Profit is more if a priority than the safety of the customer. Would you ride my bike?
