I went here to find a replacement for my favorite Ugg, who has seen better days. The staff was helpful in the back when asking to assist me in finding anything. It took a few minutes, but I got what I was looking for. I even bought socks to go with them for a reasonable price. It's a pretty big store with many selections and nice winter gear, and the parking lot is pretty big with a lot of parking. The checkout line didn't take long. This Dick's is HUGE. 10/10 would recommend. But seriously, it's a large store with a mock Jumbotron on entrance and a batting cage inside, worth a visit. read more

Placed an order online. Received a notice that it was ready for pick up. Went to pick it up - a 40 minute drive- only to be told the order was cancelled. When I asked why, I was told it was likely sold to someone else and to look for my refund within a couple of days ....really?? read more

Discrimination. I am black retired military personnel. First they put the wrong name on my layaway. Then I was told I couldn't pick up my item today. Drove another hour back home. Then got a phone call stating my item was ready to be picked up. After another long drive I was told again that I couldn't pick up item again and it was their system with the problem. Never been treated like this in my life. Management was no help to me as well. Never knew I would face racism in a sports store. read more

I want in to buy a pair of shoes. A employee name Shawn was helping me and a lady asked him to find socks. He just left me ther not helping find shoes. Did not say anything never came back. I was discriminated by how I look and who I was. The manger did not offer to help me find the shoes either. So if you are not white and look poor. I was at the Princess City Plaza DICK'S Sporting Goods, trying to buy some spring collars for my barbell. I found the spring collars on the sales floor, however there was no price tag. I took them to the cash register but the cashier didn't know the price either so she asked her manager, whose name is Joe I believe. He looked right at the cashier and said "we don't sell those" and then walked away. So the cashier couldn't ring them up, and I didn't get them. It was one of the most rude customer service experiences I've ever had, and very surprising how he purposely didn't try to help. The manager clearly didn't care at all about resolving the situation. I went there to find an exercise machine. I was walked to that department from the front door. The salesman said he would get the expert in that department since there was no one there at the time. I was helped immediately, he was knowledgeable of inventory, located an extension cord and cord to plug in the one I wanted to try. The price seemed a little high but they are the only company in the area selling Sole machines. After researching and deciding to purchase, I will be going back. Great experience! read more

How is this place still in business?! Employees afraid of their own shadow who make eye contact with you and then turn the other way. Then you ask them for help and you get the old "if it's not out we don't have it" Then you walk around like an idiot trying to find it to see all the floor employees hanging out in back having some type of dungeons and dragons convention. No one greeted us. No one helped my son in the baseball department. I had to ring the buzzer to be let into a fitting room and the girl didn't say a single word to me. I am a Dick's Scorecard holder and this is hands down their WORST retail location. Poor customer service. read more

I stopped in to buy a fishing rod and reel for my Dad for Father's Day. Alex, the attendant in the fishing area, showed me a variety of rods and reels that would work best for River fishing. He even explained why he personally liked a few of the products. I had done a little research before coming in and his recommendations lined up perfectly with what I was looking for. Alex was quick to help, knowledgable and incredibly patient! He even put line on the reel for me. I will definitely be returning for any of my future sporting goods needs. read more

Just want everyone to watch out they have a whole display of flip flops that are marked $39.99 but in reality they are actually $64.99. Didn't care when I made them aware of the problem just told me to return them. Also the price tag on the tag itself is on the back and messed up barely legible. read more

They have two climber tree stands out on display neither in stock nor do they plan on ordering more... Manager said they must be discontinuing them. Why they are on display and in the local add on sale I don't know. So on 11/25 I try to buy ANY tree stand just so I can go hunting the next day. They WILL NOT SELL ME ANYTHING!! Said they are holding all of their inventory for Black Friday!!! Are you serious?!? DAYS before crazy Black Friday ( I want nothing to do with ) I can't buy ANY hunting stand. Stopped by yesterday to see what ammo was instock. There were several long tables with signs stating 25% and 75% off so I decided to stop and see what was 75% off. I found a few items from the 75% off table and went to check out. The cashier then tells me that only certain items on the 75% are 75% off...wtf?! I'm pretty sure that's false advertising!
