4 trips in a row that they were out of spawn floats. Every time they told me they'd order more. I should be shopping locally anyhow.

I had been on the website and found two separate plinking rifles I wanted to buy, but after two hours I was over it. Went on the website again where I ordered and paid for them. Full seven days to get them from a store an hour away. NICS got "delayed" which is pretty common here, so I called to try and check the status after a week and after being hung up on before even answering by customer service, the guy who finally answered spoke like he hated having to work at all, and basically said it could take 30 days so there's no point in calling for a status update. Gun counter wouldn't even answer. 30 days to just hope I get a call about taking possession of my $1000 purchase. Incredible waste of time for overpriced products and rude customer service. This is one store our area could do without.

This is the perfect place to stop in to pick up your hunting license, to pick up your ammo, buy a new gun. If clothing is what your after they have boty men's and women's Casual or is you specifically need hunting, or fishing they can hook you up. Need a boating, kayak, or a 4X4 they can sell you one of those as well? They have it all under One roof. Spend some time going and visiting a Cabela's you won't regret it. I think it's a great family atmosphere. Especially around Christmas. They have the best north pole and santa comes to visit to sit with all the children for pictures. This is not just a store it's a family.

The reason I'm having to drop 1 star off my review is about a week ago I took 2 rods in that had the tips broken off and they said they could fix them. After they were repaired I drove about 30 minutes to where I was planning on fishing and after about the 3rd cast I noticed the tip on the rod I was using was turned almost 180 degrees from the direction it was supposed to be facing. I checked it and it was very loose and would freely spin around on the rod tip. After a couple hours of fishing like this I decided to go to another nearby spot so I went up to my vehicle and checked the rod tip on the other rod they'd also repaired that morning. Even though it had not been used for a single cast yet the tip on that rod was also loose and able to be easily turned around. I considered driving back to Holland to have them repaired a 2nd time at this tackle store since they obviously owed me a proper repair job since I'd already paid for one but not gotten what I'd paid for, but then I got to thinking that with my gas guzzler I drive I would have spent an extra $8 on gas to drive back to Holland and then come back to the area where I was fishing. So instead I took both rods to a nearby tackle shop. They looked at the rods and assured me they could easily fix the other tackle shops repairs and make sure it was done correctly this time. They did exactly as they promised and then they really surprised me by not even charging me for the rod tip repairs. I'm sure the reason they did it at no charge was because while there I did spend a fair amount on some other supplies, but still it was a nice thing to do that they certainly did not have to do since I was prepared to pay their normal price for the repairs. I do like this tackle shop and the men that work here are really friendly so I will continue to stop in and pick up supplies and get information from them. However, I won't be bringing any rods in here for any repairs in the future since they let me down the 2 that I recently brought in and paid $5 each to have the rod tips repaired on and they were not repaired correctly.

Service is consistently unreliable, disorganized, and careless. They say one thing, do another, and somehow always find a way to charge more than originally quoted. Nothing ever feels straightforward, and there is zero sense of accountability. I personally know a large handful of people who refuse to ever step foot in their service department again because the experiences are consistently bad. They do not stand behind their products, their customers, or their own warranties. Buying a warranty here is equivalent to donating money than receiving any real protection or service. To be fair, their retail side is much better. The store itself is nice, well-stocked, and worth browsing. But the service department? Get rid of it and stick to retail. If you value your time, your money, or your sanity, don't put yourself through the same frustration so many customers already have. This place will never get another dollar from me -- and based on what I've witnessed, I'm far from the only one who feels that way.
