The staff? Super helpful. They knew exactly which rod I needed for "panfish, but like, aggressive ones." My experience with staff has always been welcoming and informative during my visits over the past few years with both buying and selling firearms and ammo. Store has plenty of stock to choose from and can also easily order items. Location has plenty of parking and is easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues. We're also grateful for their consistent support to the veteran community. We also enjoy the resident mascot dogs when they're around. :)

There are other outdoor lifestyle chains out there, but none that measure up to the outdoor/wilderness environment that Cabela's has. From its rustic, natural(ish) décor to the outdoor displays to wildlife exhibits, you really do get that "I feel like I'm out in the woods" vibe. While I've always been a fan of Cabela's, this summer we found that they carry my absolute favorite line of bird seed. I'm a birder and feed 6 to 8 different types of feed in my back year nearly year round, and the fact that they have my favorite brand (Harvest brand bird feeds), but A) in multiple varieties and 2) IN STOCK immediately made this my go-to place when I need bird seed. We used to have to visit 3 or more retail outlets to find what I needed, but not any more. The staff has been mostly cool when we've visited. One time we had a cashier named John (as I recall) who didn't care that we were there or not...we were obviously interrupting whatever he was doing on his phone.
