Husband and I went in shopping for a treadmill. There were a couple of treadmills near the door we entered from outside, and I got on one to try it out. No power to it, and no help from any employees. We walked around the store, and finally found the other treadmills on display. I found one that I really liked, but there was no help to be found. We waited around back there, about 15 minutes, without an employee ever speaking to us. So we left. I won't be returning to Dick's Sporting Goods again. read more

Usually I support my local running store for my running shoe purchases but I had a shoe emergency while out of town. Against better judgement I went out on Black Friday. I guess everyone was online purchasing because it wasn't very crowded. A nice younger man named Jordan at the shoe department helped me. He actually seemed very knowledgeable in running shoes. He gave me a pair of running socks to use and let me demo the shoes on the treadmill. Everything in the store was 25 % off that day. They have tons of coupons online. If you join the scorecard rewards program you get a $10 reward for every $300 you spend. There was also two coupons on our receipt for $10 off your next purchase of $50. COVID-19 Shopping Experience I haven't shopped at Dick's in years because it was either way overpriced or just not my style, so honestly my expectations were low. It was tax free weekend and I was in need of a pair of "workout at home indoor" athletic shoes to do HipHop Step, HIIT, and Dance fitness exercises. The store was well lit, organized, and staff often asked if I needed assistance. I must have tried on 15 pairs of shoes. Asics, Nike, New Balance, Reebok, Adidas, and Brooks. Staff wasn't annoying but very helpful especially Jocelyn, who offered to check back stock on sizes and other colors that were not on the floor. I told her that I need comfort and stability and wasn't worried about the style since I would only be wearing it in my house. She suggested these hideous red, white, and blue Brooks. At first I was like **** no but she insisted I try them and she was right felt just like slippers, so comfortable. I was able to jump, squat, and run (yes I run down the aisles) with no foot or arch pain. Contactless checkout was quick and easy. Don't forget to sign up for their Loyalty Program. Came here and bought a rooftop cargo bag for a trip I am taking. The guy that helped me with product information was great and tried his best to do what he could. His over the top service was great. The price was almost double what it should have been especially when compared to other stores. The thing that annoyed me was the cashier (Miya) that checked out my purchase. Her overall attitude made it seem like it was a hassle for me to purchase anything there. Sorry ma'am but you could at least have a friendly attitude when I ask about members points and also a "thanks for shopping" or "have a nice day" go a long way. If that is how people are trained at Dick's then I suggest people go someplace else. read more

Clean and well laid out. I walked through to entertain the mall. I am in the market for new kayaks, so stopped to look at the selection. Only 2 in store, both for fishing and not what I was looking for. Staff greeted me nicely as I entered left and entered and left again after I finished inside the mall. I'll be back if every looking for sporting good stuff. Disappointed not more kayaks. read more

Over a week ago we bought a treadmill from them. We also payed for it to be delivered and set up. To date the third party delivery service they use has not called to set up an appointment. We even called them and they said they would get back to us. They haven't. I will never buy from Dicks again. read more

Dick's in Clarksville is small to me. I never find anything I want to buy here but I always wander off to the ladies clothing. Bathrooms are so so. I don't think I will come here again. read more

This is a huge spacious location. Wide variety of selections of brands: North face, Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Armour, Columbia, etc...

My family is big into health and fitness. It is key to have the best sporting gear to accomplish your fitness goals. Clarksville doesn't seem to have nearly enough stores dedicated to health and fitness. We love shopping at Dick's as it has everything for my families fitness needs. The store is organized very well making it so easy to find exactly what we are searching to purchase. The staff is always very pleasant and helpful. The only negative I can mention is that the check out line can sometimes get long and not tended to properly. read more

My wife and I come here to to get her some running shoes. We saw two employee in the shoes department but they didn't look at us or ever try to help us. One of the employees walked by I asked a question she answered (it wasn't the right answers we found out later) and took off running. I couldn't find the size we needed... but it said the store had it online.... so I wait for about 5 mins to see an employee and asked nicely for help in the shoes department. The same girl who gave us the wrong information just walked up to us and looked at us and didn't say anything. I had the shoes we wanted in my hand but asked for the size.... she said ah well if it isn't over there then we don't have it!!! I said well it says you do online... she went to the shoes come back with the size just handed me the box without even looking at us and then took off to the back room again. It is a great place to find athletic wear. Probably not the best prices but there are occasional sales.
