I am documenting this review to provide a clear, factual, and chronological account of my family's…read moreexperience at Peter Glenn Ski and Sports in Sandy Springs, Georgia. On 2/8/26 my family visited the store to purchase equipment for our first ski trip. Upon entering the store, we were not greeted or acknowledged by any staff members. During our time in the store, we observed employees actively engaging with and offering assistance to other customers. Despite our visible presence and attempts to seek help, no employee approached or offered assistance to our family. While attempting to locate ski goggles for my son, we approached an employee working in that section of the store. The employee ignored our presence and did not respond to our attempts to engage him. He only acknowledged us after noticing that we were attempting to locate assistance from another staff member. We then moved to the ski boot and winter boot section to request assistance. My son politely asked an employee located in the rear of the store for help. The employee immediately raised his voice toward my son and made an additional comment under his breath that was inappropriate and unprofessional. My son returned to my wife and I visibly uncomfortable. The same employee then approached our family and, in an aggressive and hostile tone, stated, "What do you want? Hurry up. I do not have a lot of time. Which one of you is first?" I addressed the employee directly and informed him that his conduct was rude and unprofessional. Due to the nature of that interaction, we discontinued seeking assistance from him. Despite the prior interactions, we proceeded to the checkout counter to complete a purchase. After waiting in line for service, the cashier answered a phone call and remained engaged on the call while we stood directly in front of him without acknowledgement or explanation. When the cashier concluded the call and began assisting us, we calmly explained the treatment we experienced in the rear of the store. The cashier responded by stating that the store was busy and suggested that we should return during non busy hours. This response dismissed our concerns and failed to address the conduct that occurred. Throughout our visit, we observed employees offering assistance and providing service to other customers while our family was repeatedly overlooked, spoken to in a hostile manner, and treated in a way that was materially different from other patrons. Based on the totality of these circumstances, we believe our family was subjected to discriminatory and disrespectful treatment. Most concerning was the emotional impact this experience had on our son, who was exposed to conduct that no child or customer should experience in a retail environment. Consumers should expect to be treated with professionalism, dignity, and equal service regardless of background. Based on our experience, individuals and families should carefully consider this when deciding where to purchase ski and winter sporting equipment. Response to my post; Chris, while I appreciate your respond it doesn't excuse your team and how they treated me and my family. It doesn't talk about what you and your staff will do going forward to ensure you don't treat people in such a demoralizing way. We will never come back to any of your locations. Praying that you see this for what it is and do more as a human to support those who want to enjoy outdoor sports

But after seeing my co-worker consistently come to work in cute outfits from Cato, I was curious. This is a discount fashion store, and there are many clothing items I don't like, but there are a ton that I do. There's lots of color in this store - so if you like bright colors, you are sure to find something here. I do find that I have to look closely for gems for me, but when I find them, it's a win. I have one shirt from here that probably cost me $15 - almost every time I wear it, it gets compliments. I have some great "gold" earrings that have almost an Indian-style flair that I bought for about $6. These earrings constantly get me compliments. Many of the items here are "on trend" and all of them are inexpensive. For example, when all of the expensive stores were selling items with animal print, so was Cato. I'm now seeing a lot of peplum in department stores - they've got peplum at Cato too. They also have cute gifts (watches, notebooks, cups, pens, etc.) and shoes. My one complaint - they don't carry a lot of petites and small shoe sizes (size 6). They definitely have them, but I have to get there right after their weekly delivery, because apparently there is a small lady who comes in and grabs the great petite items each week. Oh - they also have little girls clothes. This is nice if you are like me in that you can wear some kids items (cute, cheap tops) and of course, also nice when you have a little girl to buy for. Lastly, it's easy to shop here! And the ladies that work here are super nice. There is ample parking - and when you are done, you can head over to the grocery store to do your grocery shopping.

This Goodwill is located in a big plaza that also houses two restaurants that I love but I never really noticed it was there. There are so many parking spaces available, you don't have to stress about finding a spot. I drove over the bell line and within a minute or two, someone came out to greet me. I had a few baby items including a foot rocker and I got it loaded up onto the cart and was given a receipt. All done! I was hosting a personal dinner party a few days later so I figured that I'd take a quick five minutes to pop in and see if I could find some cool dishes to add to my table. The store itself is huge! Everything was neatly hung and in its proper place and the store was incredibly clean. I love going into thrift stores that feel like regular boutiques, just because the items are second-hand, doesn't mean that the surroundings shouldn't be welcoming and bright. I visited on a weekend and the store was full of shoppers browsing each aisle. There was so much! Because I didn't plan on making this stop, I didn't indulge. I used to love thrifting a little too much so I can't be trusted, lol. Luckily, I remembered why I was there and found my section. I only found one plate but it was a good find imo. I hoped to leave with some books but they weren't organized by genre which had my head spinning trying to find something that stood out. All in all, a nice Goodwill!
