Brion's men performed work on my home the following dates: 2/13/20, 5/7/20, 5/11/20. I called again on 11/20 because I had an issue with a light. Brion himself showed up to work on the light which he could no fix. During part of our conversation, he told me that someone hacked his computer and was dealing with fraud. He also noted that he had an invoice that he had not delivered to me for worked performed. I advised I was not sure whether I had paid the bill or not since the time lapse had been so long. Then, on Dec 2 he called me several time, more than 5 in 2 hours. Then, an invoiced showed up in my email for the work performed 8 months prior. The next day, Dec 3, I received a call from Brion at 7:45 of which I could not answer due to a work conversation. at 7:50, Brion showed up on my door step and demanded payment. I advised I had not even looked at the invoice that was sent yesterday at 3:39 pm. He said "let's hammer it out right now" and made a move to step into the house. I blocked his entrance into my house and told him to leave. Demanding a payment for work completed 8 months prior is way out of line.
I have now received a notice from Bion's attorney of a mechanics lien filed against me for a bill received 8 months after the work was completed, with an interest rate of 10% annum. I think I should be allowed to make payments on the bill for 8 months which would align with his sending out the invoice. I intend to pay the bill, never once did I saw I would not pay the bill. I asked for time to review the bill because it seemed excessively and Brion of his own admission, lost billing records. I hired another electrician to complete the work Brion could not and it was fixed within an hour.
