Two 2 Meat Plate with brisket and pulled pork
Amanda V.

Ordered takeout from Dickie's tonight. My husband and I love BBQ. They have pretty good good considering it's a chain restaurant. The App was a little glitchy when ordering but overall it was a fairly quick and easy experience. Food was good and the portions were generous.

Sorry already ate half of kielbasa and turkey.

The atmosphere is a little hard to judge with tables all stacked up and carry out only available. So atmosphere will not be part of rating. I ordered the e meat plate with pulled pork, turkey, cheddar jalapeno kielbasa, barbecue beans, and baked potato casserole. The pulled pork was very good, just a tad dry. The turkey and kielbasa were excellent. The beans were good, but nothing special, they need something. The baked potato casserole was ehh, very forgettable. I got the sweet BBQ sauce, while very thin it was excellent. Much much better than most places. Lastly the roll that came with it was also excellent. Also the portion sizes were gererous. I was with my Aunt and she got the chicken slider and brisket slider. She stated they were both generously sized and amazingly good, especially with the sweet BBQ sauce. She also got waffle fries and they were good also. The service was slammed, but the 2 guys working took it in stride and were very polite and upbeat. Overall a 4 star review. Sides need improvement, but nothing is bad. Would I return? Happily!

Chicken wings that look like chicken nuggets to me.

Ordered bbq wings and got white meat chicken nuggets. Staff said they were wings. Charged for 3 sides and given 2. Receipt did not reflect sides we ordered

We love Dickey's!! Great brisket and burnt ends, their portions are great!! Friendly service, especially from Grace and Taleahia, always a smiling face! A must stop when you're in Jenison!

Managers in there doing awesome! Food was hot and fresh and those hand cut fries are *Chefs kiss* nice that they have a patio as well

Pork sandwich and green beans along with the 3 sauces and a side of pickles.

My first impressions: Parking lot was cramped and the parking was a bit awkward (it's on a corner lot) - just a congested situation. Upon entering the restaurant, the menu appears to be on television sets that you can read over while in line - if you're at the right angle. We were welcomed by the man behind the corner and waited while he finished making another sandwich order. It would help to have signage that says "order here" or something - it wasn't clear if you ordered there or at the register. Pricing: Average for type of bbq joint that it is. I was happy that I had seen online a $3 pulled pork sandwich special as there was no signage inside indicating it. I also downloaded the app and got my drink for free - that was a bonus! The sides were about $2.25 so ehhh. Food: The pulled pork was okay - it wasn't seasoned much and it didn't have the smoky pieces one would expect; but it was also not dry which was super appreciated. The green beans were Italian style so I was excited about that but then was not thrilled with the amount of pepper and mushy onions inside. For being a bbq place, they only had 3 sauces which was surprising-- spicy, original and sweet. I only liked the original - the sweet tasted like brown sugar in liquid form and the spicy tasted like the sweet with some spice thrown in. One of the biggest let downs was that there didn't appear to be any lemonade (outside of the fountain that I ended up settling for), and I assumed there would be as they have it available to order by the gallon online. Overall, the food didn't leave me wanting more, the parking wasn't ideal and I feel like there are much better places to get bbq in the area. On the upside - it was clean and I liked that they took time putting the orders together but were still fast. If I go back again, I would probably try something else.

Minuscule chicken wings
Christopher F.

For $9 I got six minuscule chicken wings! If I didn't know better I would think they came from a Cornish game hen. In addition I was charged $1 for a small serving of ranch, even though you can buy the same thing on their extras menu for $0.49. The wings tasted good but were a little on the dry side probably because of the small size. As much as I love their jalapeno cheddar kielbasa the chicken wigs were quite the disappointment and I won't be ordering those again.

BBQ is good but little pricey for oz of meat you get... it seems to be less than other Dickey's I have been to Out West.

The food is homemade and they have the absolute best onion rings I've ever had in my life! The soup and sandwich special is what I often get for lunch. They have the most delicious chicken salad toasted sandwich. Now, be aware, everyone is nice here... but this is farm country meaning: you will find mainly white older gentlemen in overalls and MAGA hats, you probably will be stared at if you look different (i.e. not white), and it's not uncommon to smell a gentle waft of manure around lunch time if they took a break from spreading that morning. Common questions I've been asked by other customers: "What church do you go to?" "That's an interesting book you're reading can you tell me about it?" "It's awful busy today, we should just share a booth." People are nice around here. It's conservative, but also surprisingly curious. Help bring some diversity and pay The Arrows a visit. You won't regret it. Take a look at their pastry shelf. It's almost quite literally, eye candy. Enjoy!

To start with the positives: parking was easy and the restaurant itself is beautiful. We were a party of five with a reservation and were seated promptly. Since it was our first visit, we let our server know we needed a few minutes to review the menu. However, she didn't offer any suggestions or highlight popular dishes. When we asked about a specific appetizer, her only comment was: "Yeah, some people order it and it's pretty big." We kept our order simple--no alcohol, no substitutions, and we made it clear how we wanted to split the checks. Despite that, service throughout the meal was lacking. No one offered refills, and we had to flag down the server twice just to get hot sauce. We ordered items like the Turkey Club, a Burger, a quesadilla, French dip and a pasta dish. We also splurged and ordered a few appetizers. Our only dislike was the quesadilla. It was hard, bland and no toppings offered for the price you pay. Everything else tasted great. Given the beautiful setting, I had hoped for a more polished and attentive dining experience, especially for a birthday dinner. The fact that our server didn't even acknowledge the birthday celebration felt a little disconnected. Although it's not required of course but it would have been nice.

The staff is friendly and nice ... it's just the food... I've given up on the burgers after they've made them wrong on previous occasions. Lately, I've been trying the falafel wrap. The first time I had it, it was just okay. This time? Almost inedible, sadly. The falafels appear to be homemade, and I think they're baked rather than fried? Or maybe they just got soggy waiting in the window? I don't know. The texture was really bad. Pasty and chewy and makes you feel thirstier than you need to be. The hummus accompanying the falafel enhanced that pasty gluey feel in the mouth and there was no crunch. It's $14 for a sandwich. I was able to gag down half of it and drink 3 waters before I gave up to go back to work. I don't know, there are cheaper options around that are also locally owned that taste better, sadly. I guess this place is fine for drinks? I wouldn't know. Try it and see if it's delicious l guess. I think I'll drive myself over to The Arrows or Delicias instead.

We arrived right at 5 pm on a Friday and the place was almost full already! We were surprised but happy for them, and glad to get a nice cozy two-top in a back corner. We were greeted by our awesome server and ordered some food -- two different mortadella sandwiches and an order of fried pickles to start. Neither of us ordered drinks, but I saw some fun-looking cocktails coming over to nearby tables. The fried pickles came out first and they were perfection. I don't usually get this appetizer because I don't like fried pickle spears, but these were thin chips. The ratio of the fried pickle chip vs. spear is way better. And these came with the best runny ranch. It was a huge portion to split between the two of us, so we had lots left over. Our sandwiches came out shortly after and looked amazing. They were super stacked with tons of meat! I really liked the addition of the grainy mustard which helped cut through the fattiness of the meat. My friend liked hers - it had pistachio butter and ricotta (similar to a delicious sandwich I ate at a wine bar in Detroit). Portions are large and it's a cozy, neighborhood spot. Our server seldom came to our table, we had to flag her down to order more drinks and even then she forgot and we had to remind her we placed another drink order. The restaurant was not very busy and we could see her chatting with a table that seemed like employees or family members of employees as people were coming in and out of the kitchen to sit at the table. We had a table of four (two couples) and the server would not split our bill which was fine but a bit inconveniencing. I appreciate local, family owned businesses but felt that our experience was a bit off on this night. I love the mission of Two Guys and their community engagement so I will likely try them again, it could've just been a rough night.
