The auctioneer moves things along rather quickly and all the staff was friendly to us. There is a little lunch bar ran by nice people who homemade sandwiches. Yes, there are chips and candy bars, but the breakfast burrito was homemade. I didn't feel that the auction house was not over filled, and the staff helped to move your stuff out. We checked out rather quickly, and the office staff was very friendly. Just a great auction experience and you should come on down to enjoy it yourself.

I've been to a couple of their auctions and they have a lot of stuff. You have to battle the usual Ebay store owners, Resale shops, and brokers but sometimes you get lucky and get something at a fair price.... Personally, I think BAESS is one of the better auction houses in Denver, if only for the fact that they conduct auctions on a regular basis. (Most of the auction houses around here might do 1 or 2 a month).

They helped sort collections, and even tested some items in online sales to see if there was demand. They helped group similar items together to create themed auctions, and then identified other items for an on-site sale. When I looked through the auction listings, I didn't recognize some of the items because of how fantastic the photos and lighting were. They handled the pickup, photography, selling, shipping, and the accounting for the sales. Without their compassion, dedication, and tenacity, I would still be sorting through everything. " I asked about one of the garage tools and the male rolled his eyes at me and acted like I was putting him out. The house was so cluttered with stuff. I mean like clothes all over the floor and generally a disaster. I've never been to an estate sale that looked like this. Usually the employees are professional and things have price tags on them. Owner is super friendly and helpful. It's two floors of comics and collectibles, and we spent a good hour there exploring (great selection)! The basement is horror-themed and I would NOT wanna be trapped down there at night with the lights down low or off....very creepy! Lots of creative horrific decor from decaying skeletal figures to crazy clowns (the worst) to sofa chairs you'd think twice about sitting on. Every square inch is carefully thought out. Dollar comics and used graphic novels downstairs, found a couple Star Wars ones for $2-3 that we picked up for a friend's 10-year-old. Also available in the basement were whole packets of limited series sold together for convenience. These guys are here for the customer! Some clothing, pins, boots, Tshirts, lots of collectible toys!
