Previous physical therapists kept seeing her every week, kept charging, but nothing ever improved. After about 3 visits with Ken, and some very good advice from him, my wife's shoulder drastically improved - and he said we didn't need to come in anymore (as long as we followed instructions). I've spent quite a bit of time in this office...Dr. Hales took care of me when I broke my finger…read moreand again about a year later when I needed hand surgery. The guy has some a seriously terrible bedside manner, but he is really good at what he does, so it all cancels out. Dr. Hales is _the_ hand expert in TriCities, so if your hand is ailin', come see this guy. He took great care of my broken finger--it healed like it had never snapped into 3 pieces, all without surgery. He managed to squeeze me in as an emergency about an hour after I got x-rayed at and sent on from the urgent care center. When it came time for surgery to release a trigger finger, he squeezed me in to accomodate my crazy schedule on extremely short notice. On top of that, he did an amazing job of making the incision in the crease in my palm so that it's barely visible. I'm still amazed about the lack of pain, speed of recovery, and return to 100% use/normalcy. Woo!

Being injured sucks, there is no other way to put it. If you have to deal with miserable people on…read moreyour road to recovery, it is infinitely worse. This is not one of those places. The staff here is super friendly. But they don't let you give up either. They push you harder than you think you can go, and they get results. I had a very bad roll over accident two years ago. Luckily, the only injury I sustained was to my left hand. Unluckily, it was a bad injury. Among other things, I was sure I would never play guitar again. My pinky would not move at all, my ring and middle finger were actually showing bone. I had an amazing surgeon in Spokane, but that will be a part of a different review. Once the stitches were out and the cuts were healed, it was time to make my hand move again. My hand had been flat and stationary during the healing process, so first up was getting the tendons to bend. I won't give you a play by play of my recovery, but it was hard. All the while, the staff joked and kept pushing, getting me results. My hand still hurts sometimes, and I will never play guitar like I did before. But I can play again, so I give these guys five stars. Incidentally, they have a great setup of exercise equipment and you can just go in and work out if you want. Obviously there is a fee, but I am sure it is pretty reasonable. Also, I think I would like to exercise where the people are trained in rehab and safe movement so you don't inure yourself.
