My hygienist is kind and just talkative enough not to be annoying when you have cleaning implements in your mouth. She also does a thorough job in a pretty quick amount of time, which is great! Dr Stump is very personable and seems very knowledgable, caring, and good at her job. We were just back for our second visit, six months after the first, and everything was good again. It's definitely easier once you're a return patient and you're booking your next appt six months from your visit that day. They send email and text reminders for appts which is helpful, should you desire. The waiting room is small, tidy, and without children's toys (shame when you've got a toddler, but keeps the space looking clean and stylish). They have water and coffee and in general it is a hospitable environment, and the desk staff all seem kind and friendly as well.

Not only do indies that cost to be severely inflated but it came with wasted time waiting weeks plus the day of the appointment only to be told they do not accept the insurance that I was assured that they would accept This was quite disappointing to say the least. If they can't even decide which plans they accept or not then I certainly do not trust them cutting into my child's mouth I find this quite unprofessional and it gives me concern for the quality of care they offer if you even get that far

When we arrived, we were told they weren't sure if ut could be repaired same day. Wasn't sure if technixian could work it in. We wxplained we came to Waynesboro Asorn Dwntal based on that assertion that denture rwpair could be done same day. They said he would have to be seen by doctor/dentist. I said fine but we need the denture repaired. Finally after about 15 minutes of back and forth and explaoning cost wasn't the issueĺ but getting it dobe same day was because of tge extensive travel we were involved - and the reason we came based on Aspen's asserton. Our appt was for 9:45- after approx 45 minutes, he was seen by ? Dentist and we were told denture could be repaired and would be ready by 4:00. Not sure why this was such an issue - the desk staff seemed quite put out when I said that it was asserted to me that it could be done same day and that's what we wanted and expected. We got through this but I can't say the experience at Waynesbiro Aspen Dental was easy or welcoming.

The dental assistant was very rude. She did not coach through the painful aspects of my procedure -- she scolded. The dentist was rough in my mouth. This made me squirm. As I did, Dr. Crowder kept asking in a rather sarcastic tone, "Are we going to get this completed"? A song came on and the dental assistant and dentist sang along with it right over my head. How unprofessional! I couldn't ask them to stop because of the way they had my mouth propped wide open. I waved my hands around hoping that would alert them to take the prop out of my mouth so I could ask them to please stop singing. All the assistant did was scold me for moving again. She said once again in a cool tone, "You have got to stop moving around". The dental assistant tuned the nitrous oxide off before everything was done. I asked her to please leave it on. We are new here in the Shenandoah Valley (just moved from TN) and this has never happened anywhere else. Other practices left it on until they were completely done. The assistant stated that I didn't need it anymore while they were still working! How does she know what I need. I paid $100.00 cash for the nitrous oxide and I should have been able to choose how long I needed it! I cancelled my next appointment and I'm never going back. Don't make the mistake that by checking this practice out!

There was no prior notification. To make matters even worse as a handicapped person it requires a lot of extra effort to make the appointment. The new owners of the practice are Dentists and not very client oriented.
