For the record, my previous review begins with my graduation with a degree in philosophy and the genuine fear I had that I would be unable to find a job outside of the relatively dead-end job I was working at the time Jack was working on my resume. While I had a recruiter, the recruiter was only able to do some of the work; my resume needed to do the rest. Jack gave me a lengthy questionnaire that, while time-consuming, helped me think more critically about the job I was doing at the time and the way I could already improve my job performance. The resume I received was professional, well-put together, and definitely stood out at the job conferences I attended. Based on the strength of my resume, I received as many job interviews at hiring fairs and job conferences as educators with many more years of experience. Not only was I hired as a boarding school dorm parent, I later applied for a promotion to teaching in the English department and got the job.
