I'm sorry to all... I arrived at the store with ALL of my bridesmaids and was not waited on. Finally they got to me and gave us the bridesmaid's dress we were looking to try on (it was on the manikin) and gave us two options to try it on... either the RESTROOM or we could go upstairs. Obviously we went upstairs where they left us alone! Finally all the girls tried on the dress and I brought it back downstairs where I then told them I wanted to order swatches for the color. They hand me the swatch book and WALK AWAY! after grabbing the salesperson's attention to try and order the swatch the stops her conversation with me to check out another customer, once again ignoring me, I am pushed aside and forced to leave the book at the counter. I then looked at invitations for 20 minutes and not one sales associate asked me if I needed help, not once. There was one woman helping someone with invites and two other associates walking around helping various customers. They lost out on my sale.... I had a lot of money to be spent possibly at this location, but to be honest I'd rather stay far FAR away. Sorry for the premature yelping... perhaps you might just want to call them for ideas or go there to look for ideas in their invitation books etc... because they do have a lot of stuff. It's just a shame they don't have enough people to pay attention (or who care about) the clientele.

I'm a typical 31-year-old-bride-to-be... and they deserve 8 stars, if it were possible. I could not be happier with the work of the One Stop Wedding Shoppe. They printed the envelopes for my invitations (sadly, I bought the actual invitations elsewhere before ever going to OSWS - I regretted it!), menus, place cards, programs, bar menus, rehearsal dinner invitations, breakfast invitations, & table numbers. I was able to design everything with the ladies at OSWS and they were SOOOOOO patient with me! For each piece I was ordering, they sent me an electronic proof and then were happy to make any changes that I needed. The ladies at the Shoppe are so incredibly helpful, kind, understanding, and willing to do whatever it takes to make you happy. I spent so much time there working on my wedding details and would do it again in a heartbeat. I can't wait for another occasion in my life so I can go back and work with them again!

I knew it had to be altered to make it shorter so it wouldn't drag on the ground. I was searching for a place to get it altered and someone recommended Alterations by Sammie on Facebook. I saw pictures on Facebook of Sammie's work basically remaking someone's wedding dress and it was AMAZING so I decided to make an appointment. Sammie was so friendly and professional and pinned everything to make sure I would be ok with the new length of the dress. Additionally, she noticed something in the back of the dress that she could alter to make it look even better on me. When I went to pick up the finished dress, I was completely floored. The dress looked FABULOUS and you wouldn't even be able to tell it had been altered in the first place. Sammie does absolutely amazing work and I wouldn't hesitate to go back whenever I needed anything altered. I was so impressed that my mom even went to get her pants for the wedding hemmed. If you are in need of any clothing alterations, go to Alterations by Sammie. You will not be disappointed! (Pictures will be added later after the wedding next week)

I had a disappointing experience with Margarita's Dress Studio…read more I originally came in for dress alterations and ended up purchasing a yellow dress for $150. Based on our conversations, I believed I was buying a unique piece from the studio. Later, I discovered what appeared to be the exact same dress being sold on Shein for around $40. Since I had purchased the dress for a high-profile dinner and believed it was a unique design, I felt misled and very disappointed. I contacted Margarita to discuss the situation. During a phone conversation, she acknowledged my concerns and suggested she could offer a significant discount on a future project, as we had discussed having a custom blazer made. However, when I later arrived with fabric for the blazer and again raised the issue of the dress, she told me there was no return policy and did not honor the discount that had been discussed. What made the experience even more frustrating was the way I was treated in the studio. While we were in the middle of discussing my concerns, another customer arrived and Margarita immediately shifted her attention to them. After waiting, we resumed our conversation, only for the same thing to happen again when another customer entered. I felt that my time and concerns were not being respected. The combination of feeling misled about the dress and the lack of professional customer service left me with a very negative impression. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this business based on my experience.

L&H Bridal is truly a special place…read more The staff are all so friendly and treat you like you are their own daughter getting married. I worked with my consultant Allie who is phenomenal. I had a somewhat vague explanation of the style and inspiration and Allie whips out the most perfect dress. Of course, I tried a few others but the first one she nabbed for me to try was the winner! Allie went above and beyond to take photos so that I could include my older brother who was unable to attend. If you are looking for another style, the staff don't hestiate on going to their other locations to grab a dress for you to try on. The ballroom is large and you don't get overwhelmed since the dresses are all so well organized. The selection is massive with all colors, styles, and aesthetics accounted for. If you are in Philadelphia or the suburbs of Philadelphia, honestly this is the only bridal salon you need to visit! I absolutely loved my experience here for getting my wedding dress and wholeheartedly recommend.

Where to start... (worth the read from someone who purchased their dress at this awful place)…read more My first visit to L&H was fabulous with Tara - she helped me find my dress, and made the entire process enjoyable (she knew exactly what I wanted after asking all the right questions). However, the great experience stopped there. I also ordered my bridesmaid dresses through L&H, but when they came in, they were a completely different color. The manager assured me that they would work with the manufacturer to have them reshipped quickly, with a deadline of a month before my wedding (3 of my bridesmaids lived out of town)... that did not happen, and I had to be the one to call continuously asking where they were, until they finally came in just 3 weeks from my wedding (oh, and they still weren't the correct color, but at this point, there was nothing I could do). This is where it all went downhill. I had the WORST experience having my dress fitted. Lucy, the seamstress (who I later figured out was the OWNER), was rude every time I went in there, made my dress fit worse than it originally fit, and made awful body shaming comments to me and 3 of my bridesmaids). Needless to say, I couldn't complain to the owner... My first fitting: Lucy came in for a solid 3 minutes. I asked her to make the bra area smaller to fit my small chest, and she told me to wear cutlets... she then pinned me where I asked her to take it out around my stomach, and bring up the straps somewhat. Then left. I was in and out in 10 minutes. My second fitting: I brought my two bridesmaids thinking their dresses would be in, as it was past the date they promised.. they were not in. My dress fit WORSE than when it first came in. She had not taken anything out of the waist and took the straps in so much that I could barely fit them over my shoulders. I expressed my concern and then sent a detailed email showing how the dress fit at my first fitting, to then, so that she could fix it properly. I was now less than a month out from my wedding and very distraught, but figured I would give them another shot. My third fitting (I requested this one because they wanted me to come back just for a final fitting a week before the wedding, but I did not trust that it would actually fit). At this point, I tried on my dress and noticed where it had been taken out- it was bumpy (I had light beading), so I asked if I could talk to Lucy... in which she came in and said "what's wrong now?". To the BRIDE. I asked her if she had finished taking out my dress, or if she still had to do so, to which she responded "it is done, that is the best I could do", and I explained and showed her that it did not lay flat, that it looked bad, and you could tell it had been taken out. She said again "that is the best I could do, it will lay flatter after it is pressed", turned around, and walked out. I was appalled, but at this point did not want her touching my dress again. I was too scared to complain to anyone or ask her to fix it because I was honestly worried she would do something to mess it up further. I asked around and found another seamstress who could help if I came back in and it still looked bad. Lucy (the owner) also asked my bridesmaid "what she was going to do with what little boobs she had" when she asked to have it adjusted (again, basically telling her to wear a bra), and made my other bridesmaid cry after asking her "what she planned on doing with all her fat" and told her to wear Spanx, when she was 2 months postpartum. Lucy also tailored two of the bridesmaid dresses and made them fit worse than when they originally tried them on (there is a theme here). The shop would not refund them the money. RUN from this place. They made an experience that was supposed to be wonderful, absolutely dreadful.
