I've never arranged for funeral so I searched what-to-do while waiting for other members of our family to arrive. I called several funeral homes and had been disappointed. But when I called this place, Jamie, who answered the phone, was so patient and kind explaining what we need to do to prepare ourselves when the time comes. We had 3 days to arrange her funeral because most family members are flying home. I could not have managed without this funeral home's help. The support, professionalism and care is above and beyond one would expect especially for us who are not from the area. Thank you Jamie and staff - my mom guided us to you and I can see her smiling in heaven!

Other than that I'd recommend her to anyone who feels stuck where they're at in life and wants to make changes.

Review I can't say enough about the beautiful job the staff…read moreat Doherty did for my mom's funeral yesterday. From the very first phone call with Bill Doherty, to our appointment making arrangements, the multiple phone calls and e-mails with our questions and requests during the planning, to the actual service and burial, everything went amazingly smooth and with the utmost compassion and respect towards my family. My mom was Scottish and we wanted to honor her Scottish heritage. I dropped off several tartan table runners, scarves and various items for decorating the tables, as well as dozens of framed pictures, and a special table for guests to offer a Scottish toast to bid mom farewell. I thought I'd have to do the decorating myself, but was so relieved to see the place beautifully decked out as we arrived early for the family visitation hour. We didn't have to lift a finger, which was so appreciated. They arranged for a bagpiper at my request (he was amazing), arranged the details with our musician, created beautiful brochures and mass cards for the service, set up all the flowers, etc, and did a great job stopping traffic during the procession to All Saints Cemetery. I had so many compliments from family and friends on how classy and beautiful everything was. My family and I cannot thank Bill Doherty, Martha, Rose, and the rest of the wonderful staff enough for their compassion, patience, and overall professionalism. We will surly recommend your services to others when needed.

I got on the phone with Ryan, with all the concerns of my wife's family written down, I was put at ease with his knowledge and reassurances. Ryan was very accommodating with preparing for the viewing and presentations of my mother-in law's life. Having not gone through this before, we had a lot of questions and apprehensions. All of our concerns were answered respectfully and delicately. My mother-in law was displayed with beauty and honor. Every detail was thought of for the viewing which enabled us to focus on family and friends who paid their respects.
