I used Diana's creative genius at my wedding after I saw the work that she did at a friend's wedding in North County in San Diego. Super professional and fun to to work with, she took my ideas for our ceremony and improvised on them. The best part is she added her own flair. For example, when I asked for aisle runners, she immediately asked if I'd like some pretty lettering on them, and I told her sure! Go for it. I didn't realize that I would end up with such a gorgeous rendition of our initials, it looked like a computer printed it, but she did it by hand! The lettering was so nice, clean and classy. Love-d is a cute name for this company, as the owner is named Diana. She took our engagement photos and we chose one of those photos for our save the dates. We loved our experience with her, she was very professional and communicated with us through the process so we knew what to expect regarding costs, time we needed to reserve for the session, different locations we wanted to shoot. On the day of, we felt very relaxed and at ease. She has a very gentle demeanor, was very patient and coached my now-husband who was nervous and did not have much experience in front of a camera. Our pictures turned out wonderful! We saw from her site that she also did wedding invites. We had her design ours after we chatted a bit during the engagement session and felt comfortable working with her. She was able to understand us as a couple, understand our theme and helped guide us through all the decisions for the custom invites: paper colors and finishes, types of booklet-type assemblies, etc. She was very upfront with costs, so we were able to decide where we could splurge on some things while saving on others. She specifically sized the invites so we could maximize the paper we used and let us assemble the invites ourselves to save costs. She was very accommodating when we needed the invites translated into Chinese and Swedish, too. And her calligraphy was amazing! She found ink to match our invites and all my friends and family were very impressed by the quality of her work. I highly recommend Diana as she is so talented in so many ways. Her experience and excellent taste really help when you're trying to shape how you want your wedding to look and feel for yourself and your guests. I was so glad we met her in the beginning of our wedding planning as she had great ideas and set the tone for our wedding theme. Diana is a woman with many creative talents; she is able to design unique wedding invitations, take beautiful wedding/event/maternity/family photos, and produce beautiful chalkboard art. And just as important, she is professional, honest and dependable. Diana first helped us design invitations for our wedding. We were getting married in 3 months and needed to send out the invitations ASAP. We tried describing what we were envisioning and she was able to create samples of what we wanted within days. One of Diana's talents that many people don't know about is her ability to create beautiful and unique chalkboard art. We were trying to minimize the use of paper in our wedding and Diana was able to hand draw amazing chalkboards for our program and tables. We kept the 6 foot program chalkboard and it's something we will always cherish from our wedding day. Most recently, Diana took maternity photos for us. Even though we are pretty awkward in front of the camera, Diana encouraged us throughout the shoot. She paid close attention to detail; she coached us on our facial expressions and the positioning of our bodies. She quickly helped us to feel and act more comfortably and naturally. My wife and I found Love~d Designs and Photography through yelp. It was very fortuitous that we found Diana to do our engagement photos because she did such an amazing job. Since it was our first time taking professional photos, we were rather nervous and didn't know how to really "act" and "smile" in front of the camera. However, Diana was really good at positioning our hands and body gestures to make our photos look natural and stunning. She really made us look good! In addition to that, she provided really awesome recommendations as to where to take our photos. We took them in San Diego near UCSD and La Jolla Cliffs. It was really amazing that she captured us and the beautiful scenery in each photo. I also really appreciated that she had such an artistic eye in telling a story in a series of shots.
