Just got back from myrtle Beach s.c. Worst hotels ever, mattresses were horrible. Couldn't wait to get back home. Save your money.

What a great stop ! I had heard about this place from a…read morelocal nursery so I decided to stop in. Wonderful tour and tour guide ( Jane). Easy, flat walking tour (or you can ride in their golf cart). Jane was great as a tour guide, with a wealth of knowledge and an easygoing style of sharing information. What an incredible amount of plants here ! While their focus is more on edible plants and plantings, there was more than enough for people interested in colorful or blooming plants and trees. Beautiful setting, like walking through a tropical arboretum, lush and tropical. We were given samples of probably a dozen leaves to eat or smell through our tour. It really opened my eyes to trying to plant a few things that I hadn't considered before. There's also a small gift shop with some unique items as well as a nursery/garden center with some of the many plants that we had seen on our tour. Nice variety and decent prices !

Christian organization who explains their mission, accepts volunteers and does homeschool tours as well. Great to c various items growing in r climate - quinoa, buckwheat, broccoli, etc. Really wanted to c the local spinach, but they didn't have it during r visit. Assumed SWFL was too hot for sheep, but they had some living comfortably on property so now we're motivated to look into getting some. Also liked how they had them elevated w/slatted floors so the waste dropped down and fertilized the ground below or could be collected to fertilize crops. Various examples of how to create water filtration with what u have on hand. R tour guide was a really lovely older gal - very personable, upbeat, excited to share what's happening at ECHO. Definitely an asset to the organization, especially as it seems many of these people r volunteers so there is a lot of volunteer opportunity for those interested. A couple things I didn't care for....some pushing of the climate change narrative, there was an example/demo of pond water put into a plastic disposable water bottle and how u could just put that bottle into the sun to kill off the bacteria (of course the plastic carcinogenic chemicals can leech into the water when u leave those bottles in the sun so maybe not a great thing to push) & they had an outhouse for people to use that includes a composting toilet where they use the diluted waste on crops. Ummmm.....human waste of lots of unknown visitors is going to have remnants of medications/drugs and then putting that onto crops would b antithetical to natural/chemical free gardening. Anyway, at the end of the tour they have a gift shop w/some cool items. Love the earthy, natural options. They have lots of seeds, some snacks, and even got some bamboo dental floss that was pretty nice. It's about $12 for the tour. It's a walking tour, but terrain is very flat and easy. Go check it out!

So we hooked up with captain joe. I've taken tours before, and they have been on big boats, with dozens of other people, where you hope to get the right seat. And if you do, and see wildlife, the great masses will hover over you to see and take pictures, or you do that to the other strangers on the boat. So we were quite thrilled to find that us 4 were the only passengers. This is not a big boat. So if that's what you want, move on and share your experiences with the masses. We had 4 heavy duty chairs that were movable on the bow of the boat, so we could arrange as needed. Captain joe took us in the bay, including Hells Pickney Bay, and explained the route to me as I'm new to the area, which was helpful and appreciated. We saw a stingray, heard there were manatees in the area but didn't see them. Which is okay with me. They are not that exciting. But we saw dolphins. A lot of them. 3 different pods. We putt putted around and watched them play. When we took off, a pod of 3 followed our wake, jumping and zooming along side the boat. It was magical. My friends and myself throughly enjoyed ourselves and the experience. I will be using captain joe and his magical pontoon again! https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g34231-d7254883-r564614498-Just_Add_Water_and_Sun-Fort_Myers_Beach_Florida.html#

After looking at reviews on various sites, I contacted Shalom. He suggested an itinerary and was beyond patient with us as our friends and family also gave input. He took everything into account and came up with the PERFECT itinerary, with room to add or change once we were there. We visited the Golan Heights, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Shalom arranged the hotel for us (except for one which we did on our own since we were using points) and suggested restaurants and activities to do when we were on our own. We were treated as VIPs from the second we stepped off the airplane (yes, we were greeted right off the airplane, not even after going through customs) through the end of the trip. Our tour guide Yehuda got to know us well, and often suggested "just one more stop because you'll love it." - and it was ALWAYS worth it when he did! (I must mention he was also so patient with my endless shopping that I kept insisting on.) Shalom kept both our interests and budget in mind and created a vacation that will forever be so special to my husband and me. We could not have asked for a better tour company to organize and better tour guide to show us around. We have already suggested Shalom and Yehuda to everyone who even mentions thinking of going to Israel, whether it's their first time or hundredth!

From the very beginning to the end of the trip, every single aspect was seamless. Yoel and Shalom are excellent to work with. They provided such a personalized and unique trip experience and they also always responded to my emails right away. My family of 4 went to Israel for 10 days (My parents, brother and myself) and we did SO much in that time, but at our own pace. Shalom Israel Tours was trustworthy with their planning, recommendations and anticipated each and every need we had. The itinerary met the needs of my family, who didn't want to do hiking and jeeping type things but more of a comprehensive tour of Israel and seeing Jewish Heritage Sites. Shalom Israel Tours tailored our itinerary accordingly and it was AMAZING for everyone. Each member of my family was happy, and we don't all have the same needs or interests but they took that into consideration. Our guide, Mordechai Weiss was unbelievable. Not only is he a very knowledgable man but he is so kind and warm and patient. He made everyone feel so comfortable and went the extra mile to provide us with a very special experience. He always made sure that we had enough to drink and had as many bathroom breaks as we needed and pointed us to good lunch spots throughout our trip. At the end of the trip when I wasn't feeling well, Mordechai went above and beyond to got me what I needed and made sure that I was ok. He knew everyone wherever we went in Israel and everyone loved him, and he helped us to navigate a place that was foreign to us. Besides being the most knowledgeable guide, Mordechai is the most pleasant person to spend time with and we genuinely miss him. By the end of the trip, we truly felt that Mordechai was part of our family. I would not look elsewhere when planning a trip to Israel. Shalom Israel Tours is a company that will make your family, friends or whomever you are planning a trip with feel special and like a VIP. It is a family owned business which you can tell because you are not just working with a company, but actual people who care about each detail. They are genuinely nice people and go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need through the entire trip. Highly recommend! I would give it 10 stars if I could:) My family will never forget this experience and it is thanks to Shalom Israel Tours.

Yolanda and Abby at the front desk were amazingly welcoming and kind during our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. They were funny, helped answered any questions we had and offered suggestions. My room is quiet and clean, the bed is comfortable, plenty of towels, good water pressure, efficient air conditioning, responsive staff. And dog friendly! I enjoyed reading my book at the pool, but it was very sunny and there was no shade. Guests would be well served with umbrellas planted by at least some of the chaise lounges. Since there were no towels outside, a sign would be helpful advising people to check with the front desk. Still in pandemic mode, maid service is by request only. But that's okay. I can make my own bed and as long as it's no hassle to get toilet paper and soap, I'm good. The cafe should be revamped, though the people working there are nice. Rather than the gratis breakfast of days gone by, Diamond members now get a $10 per person daily credit. My husband ordered French toast and bacon. $12.50. Nothing special, but it looked okay. I went with the $10 continental breakfast. Terrible! Oatmeal was the consistency of cement. Seriously! The kitchen prepared a new tureen which was watery and tasteless -- "tasteless" being the operative word for other things on their mini buffet. I like the location of this hotel, and I'd happily stay there again. There are places to eat and shop in the area, a gas station close by and easy access to the highway.
