Even one star is to much. When booking the limo, I was told the limo was like brand new. The limo was to pick us up at 7:00pm after many calls to the company over the phone, compaining, each time being told " it's almost there" "it's only 10 min away" " only another 10 min", " only minutes away"" I'll have the driver call you" . At 7:40pm the driver call and told me where he was, (he was still 5 to 10 mins away). Limo arrived to pick us up so late( we had now lost our dinner reservations). When the limo arrived the passengers side was all scuffed up, and dented, and the limo had a major exhaust leak, and rapping of the engine, we were embarrassed to even get in the limo. Once inside, the damage inside was as bad as the outside. I again contacted the company and was told not to worry about tipping the driver that he'd take care of him and said he'd take $40 off the bill. Once we were on our way, the driver got lost and had to turn around the down all these side streets. Now the ride should have taken 10 tops almost 20min later we arrive after having to open window the exhaust leak was so bad. Now its after 8 pm. We missed our reservations, we're embarrassed to get out of this beat-up limo, so we ask the driver to stop well before the door, hoping no one would see us get out. When we were done, I called the driver and said we'd be down in 5 min. After waiting outside and no limo, I called again, and finally, the limo showed up after 20 min. I told the drive we were going back to the hotel and not staying out in the limo. It was amazing, We made it back in 10 minutes, not the 20 minutes it took to get there. Not once did the driver get the door for us. This was to be a surprise for my wife on Mothers Day. (So much for the surprise since he was almost an hour late. The night was a disaster thanks to this limo co. Topping it off, I was told there was a 4hr minimum. Yet the company charged me for 5 hours (we only had it for 2 hours). And at one point speaking with the company on the phone I was told to use the company again and "he'd take care of us" well I will never use this company and would strongly urge everyone else to stay far away from this limo company read more

Called requesting transportation to dinner and back for 6 people. Understood that there would be a minimum of 3 hours. He quoted me a Mercedes party bus for $990! I explained that the restaurant was about 10 min away and didn't need a bachelor party type vehicle. We just needed safe transportation and I thought going with a limo would be an added touch. I explained that $990 was a lot more than I wanted to spend. He asked what my budget was and I explained that I'd be ok dropping about $300. He put me on hold and came back saying he's going to try to get me a Lincoln limo and if he can't, he'll give me the Mercedes party bus for $300. I agreed and gave him my info and payment. 10 minutes later he called me and said he's cancelling the ride. He said he couldn't get the Lincoln and refuses to give me the Mercedes that he committed to as a backup. I told him he gave me his word, and he said "sorry, I'm not going to do it". So, we opted for Uber for $22 round trip in lieu wanting to spend $300 for a more memorable experience. Would opt to spend extra next time, but certainly not with CLEAN RIDE LIMO. So for our vacation this year we decided to have a limo service pick us up in Fort Myers and drive us to Fort Lauderdale to catch a cruise. I've heard pros and cons from numerous limo services so I was reluctant to spend so much money for a limo. Wow, am I glad that we decided to select Clean Ride. The driver that picked us up was great although all of our luggage would not fit in the trunk due to a tire in the way. He put the remaining piece in the front seat so we could stretch out. The limo was clean and the ride was wonderful even though it was not a stretch limo. Coming back from our cruise we ended up in Miami and had the limo service pick us up and take us back to Fort Myers. We did have an issue finding the limo driver at the airport; but, my dissatisfaction cleared once I saw that we were in a stretch limo this time...maybe to accommodate all of our luggage? Anyway, the driver was excellent and the limo itself was fantastic. The cost was more affordable than I expected so I can't complain about that when comparing it to taking a cab back and forth. Would I do this again? Heck yes. It was great to be pampered for 5 hours. read more

I hired a limo for my daughters 16th birthday celebration. The limo was nothing like the website pictures and it showed up dirty. The first thing the driver did was ask me for the cash before he let anyone in the limo. The Limo driver - Terry was in control over the whole night, he rushed the girls at every spot didn't let them take pictures and drove erratically. The girls wanted to go for ice cream at the end of the night. They were 14 minutes late getting back and they charged us an extra $100. We called the owner of the company Bob who couldnt be ruder! From my initial dealings with Bob and Donna I thought Clean Ride Limo was the exception proving the rule. But in the end the honesty and transparency I extended them wasn't reciprocated. As much as I would have liked this review to be different, they failed me. It's a push they'll fail you too, so take this with a grain of salt. While searching for a limousine service for a bachelorette party, I thought I had found a great company! I received some quotes from a gentleman. He gave me their regular prices, and then told me what the lowest he could go with be (he said that he wanted to give comparable and competitive prices). I was so excited with his information that I didn't even get to write all of the information down. I called the very next day and spoke to a female who gave me completely different prices. I guess they write down the quotes when they give them to you, but apparently the gentleman I spoke to the day before didn't write it down. I think it is wrong of a company to give you more than one quote. And that is why I refuse to choose this limousine service. Their prices are higher than most, which I would be happy to pay premium for their good service. But to be honest, a $1300 limousine ride is just too expensive. Other companies, in this area, with vehicles similar are charging $95 an hour without gratuity. Clean Ride charges over $200 an hour. I am extremely disappointed. I have ridden with them before, however do not see myself returning. read more

We reserved large buses for 3 consecutive weekends as a "fan bus" for high school football playoff season. By request, we had the same driver (ask for Tim!), who was a consummate professional. I worked directly with Bob and Sandra on the reservations. We had no problems. The communication with the driver was great and he texted to confirm his arrival at the pick up location - always ahead of schedule. The bus was immaculate and included plenty of ice and bottled waters. We also received "red carpet" treatment and yes, while it was more like a large welcome mat, we still appreciated the white glove experience. In the past, we've had mixed experiences with other charter companies. We will NEVER use anyone else except Clean Ride Limo. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Keep up the great work! read more

So i called clean ride limo and requested 2 cars for a event they told me they had certain types of limos open for that night. I was interested in 2 different limos. I was told they had them and went ahead and gave them a $400.00 deposit, which they told me was non refundable I asked them 2 days later if i can stop by to see the cars that i requested and deposited. They told me the address which was in no mans land and after 1 hour of driving i arrived. Boy was i given the wrong info They showed a Mercedes Benz stretch limo on their web sight but once there they told me they have no such car! Hmmmmmmmm. I askd to see another car i requested that i also deposited and was pissed off as the seats were all ripped and was given an excuse that it was going ointo the shop to be repaired. Thats funny case the person cleaning the car told me it was going out that night for a party event. So first of all , I will start with I appreciate the discount the original lady got me but that's about all with this company. We were supposed to arrive to our restaurant at 8:10 (10 minutes late because of me I will admit.) but we arrived at 8:30. The boss then proceeded to call me and was incredibly rude the entire time I was trying to talk saying I will have to pay for another hour for the 6 minutes we would be arriving late and that they're not "supposed to be anywhere" as if I'm not the one paying for the service. We were promised mixers in our bus , none. The bus was also supposed to fit 18-20 people but would barely fit 10 comfortably. Our driver was not friendly , and with the borderline harassing phone calls I received before booking I will absolutely say I have used better companies than this. They have completely ruined a birthday event for everyone with the rude and stressful experience we've had. I greatly regret spending money with this company. read more

Horrible! For my 21st i paid for a Bentley limo, instead of coming with what I PAID for ... they came with a small black regular limo. We decided to get a limo service as we were going to a concert. The van that picked us up was in very good condition and very comfortable. Regrettably our issue was more with the driver. He was very unprofessional. He felt disoriented and when we were heading back to our location he only realized 15 minutes after driving on the wrong direction that we were in the car....yes it sounds crazy.... unfortunately not quiet the good experience we were hoping for. read more

We used this company for my son's wedding in the north Tampa area. They could not have been better in any way. We rented the Bentley limo - gorgeous! Also the Super Bus - excellent! & the Rock Star bus - Fabulous. Everyone of the vehicles was very clean. The three drivers were superb - calm, friendly, helpful & professionally dressed. Communication with the company & the drivers was always good. There were some flashing lights both inside the busses & outside which were annoying but as soon as we mentioned them, they were turned off. There is a sound system on the buses so you can take your own CDs. After the reception we found a CD on the Rock Star bus that had classic hits. Within moments, everyone on the bus was loudly singing, playing air guitar etc. to Bohemian Rhapsody, Piano Man, ... It was an after party bus ride that no one will forget. This company deserves no stars. Instead of the classic white stretch we reserved well in advance plus confirmed, we got the completely inappropriate & dirty Black Knight. The driver was rude & nearly drove past the church. We complained after the event & was told the driver only needed to call the office to have a white car sent as we reserved. We did a grab bag booking and they showed up on time and ready to roll, the driver was friendly and responsive. The Party Van was new and in excellent condition. Our issue was at the end of the night when we went over by 12 minutes, they wanted to charge us an additional $95. After some back and forth with the owner he did cut it in half. I have seen others have had the same issue and we as passengers have no control over the accelerator peddle so its very easy to go over a little and expect to get paid for an additional hour. A couple months in advance I reserved a white Lincoln stretch limo from Clean Ride Limo Service. It was for 4 friends and I to travel from Punta Gorda to the BB&T Center in Ft. Lauderdale and back to attend a concert. The reservation process was efficient and I felt well cared for. On October 29th, our driver Elliot, was a bit ahead of schedule and was a very pleasant man. The following are a couple shortcomings which took the shine off this experience with Clean Ride Limo. 1) They had almost a FULL window sticker in the back window of the limo with their name and phone number. It was SO very tacky, if not somewhat embarrassing. It would be akin to renting a tuxedo and having the store's name stitched into the back of the jacket. As far as I was concerned, this was our car during our rental period and had I known of this advertising placquert, I would have certainly made other arrangements. 2) the A/c in the back was either off or freezing with our only control being fan speed, this made for an uncomfortable ride. 3) when we reserved the car, we were told the gratuity was "included", and it was. But when it came time to say good-bye to the our driver Elliot, I confirmed the gratuity and thanked him for his efforts only to have him say, with a scowl that yes, the "minimum" was included. Clearly disappointed in that, he made it unfortunately awkward for us. I had no cash to quell the moment and had little choice but to turn and walk away. It's a shame that something that started out so well had so many negatives associated with it in the end. read more
