I have 4 tattoos from Diamond and I couldn't be happier with the quality and longevity of the work. Paula (shop owner) is incredibly talented and creative with her use of color and shadows. She has an amazing eye for placement and layout. Her line work is impeccable, she has the steady hands of a neurosurgeon. Katt is such a joy to be tattooed by. Her ability to take someone's description and concept to life is outstanding. I love her use of rich bold colors and keen eye for creativity. I also have several piercings from Diamond that all have healed very nicely. The piercings are all well placed for my anatomy (cartilage and industrial piercings can be tricky without enough flesh to pierce). They were able to help me find good placement and jewelry for my ear piercings. I'm a firm believer that you can get a piercing from someone with decades of experience; who follows all piercing procedures to a T, but once you get home it's on you to take care of it. It doesn't matter how sterile the needle was if you don't take care of your new piercing. The shop is always clean, well organized, and stocked. All the artists are professionals who take an immense amount of pride in their work. You absolutely cannot go wrong getting a tattoo or piercing here. They are extremely well priced for the quality of work you receive. You would be doing yourself a disservice to not at least get a consultation. I couldn't recommend Diamond more. read more

My experience here was great. I was a walk-in, so I did wait at least an hour. However, it was affordable and great service! The vibe in here is chill and each artist has a private stall they operate in which really made me feel more comfortable instead of laying out in one big room. Everyone was kind and they DO use saniderm! I got a very simple piece with my parents birth years. The artist made sure to continue checking with me to ensure I loved the design. Dont waste your time here. I have gotten several tattoos and body piercings from this parlor but they just lost me as a customer. I emailed one of the artists to set up an appointment(as their new policy insisted), we sent a time and date two weeks in advance. We emailed back and forth and finally set on final design and then the day of nobody was there. The phone number listed on the Google page just rings and goes to voice mail but cant even leave a voice mail because is not set up. They did not bother to reach out to me letting me know she was not coming, could not make it etc. I cleared out my whole day for them in advance and for them not to communicate with me as a loyal customer is so unprofessional of them to not even respond back. I went to Paula for my biggest tattoo so far and it was a great experience! During our initial consult I let her know that I wanted a "realistic" octopus that covered my left shoulder from my pectoral to my back with tentacles that went down my arm. She got to work designing it and even sent me pics of what it would look like on me. It took three marathon sessions but she was focused and as dedicated to the successful outcome as I was! I wish I could give them 5 stars but honestly I'm a little disappointed. Over the last two years, I have had multiple piercings (4 cartilages piercings & 2 on the lobe) done here with Jaime, They've all healed pretty well. But the following has been bothering me for sometime now... I made an appointment for 6.1.2020 for a cartilage piercing. Jaime let me know that there was a price increase due to PPE, I had no problem with that. They did everything in their power to keep things clean & safe. However there was some confusion on what type of piercing I wanted, Jaime thought I wanted a daith piercing but I wanted a cartilage/helix piercing. Im pretty sure I was charged for a daith as it was more expensive then the last time. At the time I wish I could of found the receipt & I should of spoken up more but I didn't & that's my fault. Don't get me wrong, Jaime is a great piercer & I know she's been through a lot. Now I've been wanting to change my jewelry on my right ear to match the hoops on my left ear, hoops that I got from them & love. Now they've changed their policy, changed some rules & I get it. Last week on Tuesday (9.28.21), I emailed Jaime, as I've only ever worked with her & asked for an appointment to change my jewelry. She emailed me back right away saying Dee was handling all piercings, ok cool. I emailed Dee the same day. It's been a week now & I have yet to hear from her. I finally found a phone number but it only rings forever. I know I could've kept emailing her, but I'm not going to hound someone to answer me. I know we are all busy & we are all trying to navigate through theses crazy times.. But I just wish there was some better communication. read more

My tattoo turned out ok, Paula did a great color fade that I love. But their piercer fucked me up. The piercing went through my skin wrong, and when I noticed I showed it to two piercing artists from different shops, both told me that with the way I was pierced, the piercing would never heal. Update: I mean no offense to Paula since she is the one who did my tattoo, and yes her work turned out awesome, but she left a comment saying they don't have any male piercers, so I'm attaching a photo of the business card he gave me which says he works there. read more

UPDATE: My piercing healed really well. No infection or any problems whatsoever. I truly believe that is due to Jamie's expertise in piercing, as well as obviously taking good care of the piercing after it was done. So, I'm still very, very happy with the whole piercing process and service at Diamond Tattoo. Jamie did an excellent job with my first ear piercing! I was pretty nervous, but she made me feel at ease. The end result looks amazing. She really took the time to make sure that the placement of the earrings was correct, which is something that I very much appreciated. My sister got her second lobe piercing done and hers looks great, too. Jamie knew exactly what she was doing. The process was quick and didn't hurt nearly as much as I thought it would. My sister said that I hardly flinched. The biggest deciding factor for me when it came to picking a place to get my piercing done was the cleanliness/sterilization of the products being used. I did not want to get my ears pierced with a gun, partially due to the damage it does to the ear, but mostly because it is not sterile at all, despite what places like Claire's leads people to believe. I didn't want an infection. All of the needles that were used at Diamond Tattoo were brand-new and sterile straight out of the package. They were laid down on a sterile cloth on top of a tray table that had been sprayed with cleaning solution, as to not contaminate the items before they were used. Jamie cleaned the exam table before she did my sister's piercings, immediately after my sister's piercings/before she did mine, and after my piercings were completed. She also wore gloves 10/10 on the sterilization process. Once the piercing was over, my sister and I were given after-care instructions on how to care for our piercings. The instructions were easy to follow and were very thorough. We picked up ear care supplies at Walgreens on the way home. I've only had my ears pierced for a day now, but keeping up with the cleaning process has proven to be simple and inexpensive. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Diamond Tattoo. If I ever decide that I want another piercing (or even a tattoo), I will definitely be back, but for now, I'm going to enjoy my new piercing. Oh, and the earlobe piercings are only $30 (per person, not for both of us together). That is more than reasonable and leaves money left over for a tip. read more

I was trying to find a place to re-pierce my ear and I found this place!! First of all I was sooo happy to know that it's an all girls tattoo/piercing parlor! Not only that, but the pricing is very reasonable. I had Elise do 3 of my ear piercings and she is seriously the sweetest person ever! I was initially very skeptical about coming here to get my new piercing. The prices seemed too good to be true, and I'm always very cautious about things like that. Decided to check out the location with my partner. We went on and worked with Paula (the owner) who was WONDERFUL! She did a helix piercing as well as a dermal piercing for both of us. I was terrified about getting the dermal because it just seems like such a painful process, but she fully explained everything and made it actually fairly painless. Went to the "flash event" they had for Roe v. Wade being overturned to raise money for planned parenthood. It was supposed to be 12p-8p, I expected there might be a line so I got there around 11:30a. Waited in line about 3 hours before being told there was apparently a sign up sheet at the *front* of the line that did not get passed back. So, no clue about that - and no clue where I sit in line either now. I tried to ask nicely about why the sign up sheet didn't make it back to us for over three hours, while we all sat in the August heat outside on the ground and I was met with a rude and snotty reply. "We've been using it the whole time." Doesn't answer my question. I waited 5 hours total, decided to leave. They also were skipping all over the "list" even though they had claimed the event was first come, first served. No explanation was given for why it was possibly taking so long, no apologies for the wait, nothing. They'd call in four people at a time and those people would be in there for over an hour, for a flash tattoo! I never even stepped foot in the shop actually, met none of the staff except the one girl who had the "list". They were obviously unprepared (even though the shop posted back on July 9th about the event) and hemmed and hawed over how long things were taking. This was my first, and now only, experience with this shop. I am sorely disappointed as I had wanted to support a good cause, but to make people wait in 100+ degree weather outside for hours, or sit in their cars wasting gas to run the AC while gas prices are sky high, it a complete flop. I can't speak anything about the artists or their work, cleanliness, demeanor, or anything. The fact that no one bothered to apologize or update the people waiting left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I had decided to leave because I was beginning to get such a negative connotation with the whole thing, I didn't want a tattoo on my body that made me think of this horribly ran "event". They claimed they will call my phone once they get to my name on the list, but it is close to 5p and nothing. I guess we'll see how late it gets before they call, if they do at all. Update: it's now 7:30 and they just called me. I can't imagine how many others have been waiting around all day. We got there before they opened, and they are just now calling me to do the tattoo - after having expected me and others to sit outside their shop all day long. Beyond unprofessional, and a waste of the PTO I used to be able to do it in the first place. read more

Walked in to get a couple piercings. There was already a group in line ahead of us talking to one of the girls that work here. At first, I didn't mind waiting because it wasn't like I had an appointment or anything and they were there first. But their conversation was nothing about their business transaction, they were JUST TALKING. I waited patiently for 15 minutes for these idiots to finish up their irrelevant conversations, they left, and the girl helping them walks to the back and is talking to her coworker..... they are just laughing and bullshitting in the back. She kinda walks out where she is in CLEAR SIGHT of us and turns to look at us, yet she is STILL standing back there laughing and bullshitting. My sister and I came in for a couple of tattoos one night. We had to wait a little while as there were a few piercings ahead of us, but it wasn't a big deal. There was adequate seating and the staff were friendly and talked to us to pass the time. Paula did our tattoos, taking all the proper sanitary requirements. I got a cartilage piercing from here and my experience was phenomenal! I was a walk in and had never gotten a piercing from a tattoo shop before so I was a little nervous about how things worked. However when I walked they took me with no trouble and were super sweet and very open to answering any questions I had. The man working the front desk was very funny and great at explaining all the after care and details of the piercing and how the process worked. My actual piercing was quick and painless and the artist was very soothing and made sure I was doing okay every step of the way even though it was a simple process. I'm extremely pleased with my piercing. The jewelry is great quality and is ridiculously inexpensive, I'd recommend this place to any first time piercers as it's ten times more sanitary and higher quality than Claire's or a kiosk in the mall. Recently got my nose pierced by Craig. He explained everything well and answered all my questions. Very clean, wore gloves, oped all the packages right there and cleaned my skin very well before piercing. He was professional and did a good job. I was nervous about the pain but he talked me thru it and it was all over before I knew what happened. I can't even remember much pain. He was very clear about the after care and made some suggestions based on his personal preferences. I would go back and get my lip pierced there if my job would allow it. But no. I have gone back and forth over loving my nose ring and not liking it much. The placement was weird at first, maybe a little too far back. But now I love it. I think I just have a huge nose, haha. It's been more than a week and it's really healing up well. I've been following the aftercare instructions they give you to the T and it's worked out great. I got my tattoo done on my wrist here and didn't realize it was the same place until I go there, not sure of the artist that did it, was a guy. This time I went for my third nose piercing. Kat was my piercer. She was very nice and informative. I hadn't eaten that morning so she had me lay there for a minute just to make sure I didn't fall out after the piercing. Before I left she gave me a paper front and back with all the instructions on how to take care of it. I will be going back to her for my next piercing. The only thing that I didn't like was they only took cash and if you didn't have it, there is an ATM $3 charge to get money out or they could swipe it with the $5 charge. I didn't have enough time to go to a bank so they did advise the ATM because it was a cheaper fee. read more

Great place. I went there for my second tattoo. The actual building doesn't seem the cleanest but once I got in the actual tattooing area, it was obvious that it's sanitary. Aaron did my tattoo and was very friendly and made sure I knew what the process was. The tattoo came out great, appears to be healing well, and wasn't very expensive. The first place I went to get a tattoo was about twice as much and the artist didn't even bother to tell me his name. Such a nice change to come in here and have the staff be so friendly. My only complaint is that at first glance the place doesn't /appear/ clean and I feel like it might turn people off.
