He charged me the full months amount and a late fee. Denver is a liar and a thief in my opinion do not recommend them based on the rude staff and dirty units.

I DO NO RECOMMEND!!! 10 Federal took over management of my…read moreunit in Oct. 2024. It's been a mess ever since. First, they didn't send me my first invoice (was on autopay and so didn't realize I needed to do anything without receiving invoice). When I finally did get an invoice a month later, it not only had a $20 late fee but they had automatically signed me up for their insurance, without my knowledge or consent, for another $18.99 AND started charging $3.99/month for a tech fee. I restarted my autopay and was never late on another payment. I recently went to my storage unit and saw they had cut off my lock, replaced it with their own and tagged my unit for auction. After not being able get in contact with anyone after 30 minutes of being on hold, I moved my belongings out in fear they would not be safe left in the unit. When I finally got through to a manager, he took no accountability for any wrong doing and refused any kind of a refund. Not even for the remainder of the month because I moved my items out on the 6th, not the 5th. The move out was not planned, it was out of fear my items would be auctioned if I left them. To top it off, they are increasing their prices by 40% beginning in March. 40%!!!

They either sold or subcontracted the business to another company that didn't last long and then to 10 Federal storage. Since 10 Federal has taken over, my rent has tripled since I first got my unit. I have a double sided unit and I had two padlocks that I spent over thirty dollars on. Anyways, I had gone up to my unit to get some stuff and when I got there they had cut, removed, and replaced my padlocks with their own. I was never informed that they were going to do that so I didn't know if someone had gotten into my unit and took or went through my property. I contacted customer service and they told me that I had signed a contract, and I had to wait for someone to go and get the serial number off the new paddock to give me the combination to access my unit. I NEVER signed a contract with 10 Federal storage. The only knowledge I had that the business changed hands again was an email for a bill. 10 Federal storage has HORRIBLE business practices and they blatantly lie. I have absolutely no problem with paying a reasonable price for my storage unit, but right now I feel as though I'm being ripped off by a shady ass company. If you are in need of and looking for a storage unit, I DO NOT recommend 10 Federal storage. They are CROOKED and WAY OVERPRICED for what you get.
