She brought out two cans. Now, I was a bit surprised that a very large diamond store, which tries to elude luxury diamond rings, brings cans. I don't even drink out of a can at home. I would have thought at the very least a plastic cup with their logo on it with ice. Also, I had to laugh that they had a bunch of bic pens, the cheapest pen out there. You would have thought it would have their brand. The people were less than friendly, honestly I don't know why we spent so much money on these rings here. We had my ring upgraded, and contemplating doing it again. Going there was just a stark cold feeling. Honestly for the money, I could have gotten a Costco diamond ring for a fraction of the price, with friendlier service.

Twenty years ago, when we got engaged, my wife gave me an 18k gold cartouche necklace, handcrafted…read morein Naples, Italy, that I've worn every single day since. I never take it off, so when the hasp holding the pendant to the chain finally gave out after two decades of daily wear, I knew I needed to find a jeweler I could trust with something so meaningful and irreplaceable. We stumbled across Luis & Fine Jewelry, a small mom-and-pop shop tucked away in a strip mall off TPC Parkway, conveniently located near my physical therapy clinic. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place is a world apart from the big chain jewelry stores. You get that personal touch and genuine care that only comes from a family-owned business that takes real pride in their craft. Luis himself took great care of us. He listened carefully, examined the necklace thoroughly, and explained exactly what needed to be done. Given the origin and quality of the piece, I appreciated that he treated it with the respect and attention it deserved. Not only did he repair the broken hasp, but he actually improved on the original design to make it stronger and more secure, so hopefully I won't have to worry about this happening again anytime soon. The quality of the work was expert level, and the attention to detail was exactly what you'd hope for when handing over a piece with this much sentimental value. If you're looking for a jeweler who treats you like family and delivers craftsmanship you can count on, skip the mall stores and head to Luis & Fine Jewelry. We'll definitely be back for any future jewelry needs.

Then she ask if we'd like to look at some settings. I could not believe she would say something that rude. I worked at Tiffany's in college, and would have never ever said something like that, a) out loud, or b) first, no matter what I thought. We just said no thank you we don't care to look around, took the diamond and left. She seemed truly surprised that we didn't want to continue doing business with her. The one time I spoke with someone on the phone I was told I would receive a call back from a salesperson and never received a call back. Today, because they have a Rolex I am interested in purchasing and despite the unanswered messages, I decided to drive over and see if I could speak with someone in person and possibly purchase the watch. I visited the store website and saw they open at 10:00 am, drove 45 minutes to get there and arrived at 10:05 Despite seeing people working in the store, the representative told me they had to speak with the manager before being allowed to enter. My wife and I sat in the car for 25 minutes while we watched who appeared to be the manager arrive at around 10:15. I attempted to enter the store again and the representative told me to wait a little longer. We waited an additional ten minutes and continued to watch the two workers (one who I perceived to be the manager) walk around and ignore us. After 45 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. I was completely surprised by the nonchalance of turning away a customer who was ready to spend $10-15,000 dollars on a watch. No worries we will take our business else where. Definitely do not recommend.
