This place charges midtown prices for sub-par service. Worst manicure I got in months - have to get polish reapplied today. The owner clearly likes to make a profit while spending little on getting well-trained professionals or improving the atmosphere. They don't even have proper pedicure drying stations. The only reason I gave one star is because they had tasteful classical music playing. Won't be back.

Nails done at Diamond Nails - love it!

Very friendly and professional shop. Got powder nails with color gel French nail tips and a design. The owner is super friendly and takes her time to do great detailed work. So glad I found this place in my 'hood! Will definitely go back and this will be my new nail shop!

Cat eye gel nail polish #63

Been going here for years! Love the service I get from the ladies here, they are always kind. Today I went in for my regular gel manicure and they put me on to the cat eye nail polish. My nails look BEAUTIFUL! They will last 2 weeks as per usual but in the case that I need a touch up they are always willing to assist for no additional cost.

I went here today for the first time and it was an extremely pleasant experience. It was quiet (I went on a Thursday around 4) but not only was it quiet in the sense of not busy, the atmosphere in the salon was quiet. There was classical music, the workers didn't talk too much, and I didn't have to engage in conversation. That was perfect because I was tired, had had a very long day, and just wanted to sit for a little bit. They massage my shoulders and placed warm towels on them while my nails were being painted at no extra charge. The basic manicure was $11 and the girl took a long time cleaning and painting them. I will definitely be returning.

Came here on 8/10 which was a Tuesday and now it's 8/14 which is a Saturday. I called to make an appointment for a mani and pedi and I was there for about 3 hours.... For a mani and pedi ... 3 hours. Got my regular nails done just normal painting and the new girl was putting on a lot of gel which was taking awhile for my nails to dry... I bumped my nail when I left came back had it repainted but she put so much gel that the fan was drying it in a way where the gel was being moved and not drying right. Then I get home , maybe wait a little over an hour and decided to go on a walk and when I was done took my socks off and my big left toe nail polish was ruined... my nails should've been dry it was over 4 hours. Not comfy with taking a picture of my big toe. But for me to spend $56 on something that didn't last a week is pretty annoying lol. Was trying to be positive and not annoying costumer but as the days went by my nails kept on chipping felt like I did my nails myself she also didn't paint my full nail bed she left space at the bottom. I understand she's new but it was a simple nail painting.

Bubbles, streaks, badly cut cuticles and nail polish left on my hands.

This is a lovely, if tiny spot with people who do great work. It's only flaw is that it's tiny and doesn't have a restroom

I've always had a problem getting my nails done. My natural nailbeds are short, wide and flat with…read morewonky sidewalls. They are very imperfect canvases. Add to that some techs just not doing a great job anyway. So, when I find a place that gives me good nails, I am loyal. This is my third time going to 167 Foxy Nails and I already have an appointment for a fourth! My first time was with a different tech and tbh, it was nothing special. I was not impressed. The nails were thick, and uneven. My favorite part was the very neutral jelly color. I decided to give the salon another try, and am happy I did. This tech examined my nails while having a brief consult on what I'd like. I told her I wanted the same color & shape (boring, I know). She tried to find the color through like a million test swatches, but never got a match. That's when she got to work! She filed down the thickness of the acrylic, taking her time to not only look (from different angles), but to FEEL for smoothness. That's when I knew I was going to walk out with good nails. She perfected the coffin shape, and took care of any stray cuticles. I was happy with my nails for the first time in years! Over the next few days, I'd look down at them and smile. And not only did they look good, they were durable! It took at least three weeks between each fill, the nails grew out, but never lifted. The last visit I had the original nails removed. There was no prying with a metrocard, or any other strong arm tactics. Just a soak in warm acetone and filing. Another consult on what I'd like and together we came up with the almond. The pictures make my nails look like pink M&Ms, but that's just my poor picture taking skills. The salon is appointment only, and I've never been made to wait when it was time. It's a small space, but doesn't feel stuffy. This is my go to spot for the foreseeable future.

Appointment only, no walking even if they look empty. I was told appointments should be booked 3…read moredays in advance, even though when I called no one answered. So I decided to go in person in case they would take me in,but no they are strict. It was highly recommended by a friend for great service , with getting the look your going for.
