I would recommend Diamond Lawn Care to anyone looking for any landscaping needs. Karen came out to our home in a timely manner and conducted an extensive walkthrough of our home. She gave honest feedback and even showed me things I could to do to help on my own. Diamond Lawn Care hard pruned all of our shrubs, took out several dead/ugly looking shrubs and picked up all of our leaves. It was a hard days worth of work; their guys were here for the whole day to ensure our lawn was pristine! I look forward to finishing the project as Karen is project managing the rest of our lawn care needs! We needed to trim 2 large oaks and remove a large tree in our backyard, she recommended a great company that came out quickly and took care of the problem. She also recommend an irrigation company who will be repairing our system this week! Overall, a great company with hard working guys. You guys are awesome, thank you! read more

*Edit after owners response* I never questioned the owners work, and the meat of their review was on facts I had no complaints on. I'm very upset from the treatment I received from the owner. I'm also unsure how they do other working customers back yards with no heads up. Should I have had my back door unlocked every day? Does that not defeat the purpose of the fence everyday? Karen yelled at how lazy my boyfriend was to not get up and pick up the dog poop when they got there, which not only was rude and uncalled for but disrespectful. He was working from home and unfortunately cannot drop everything to accommodate the demanding landscapers, as we have to also work to make a living. I am very upset at how rude and malicious Karen was to me and my boyfriend. I got the quote to make our lives easier, and all they created were problems. I strive to be respectful, kind and professional in life and am appalled by the treatment I received when Karen called me in rage. Totally uncalled for. So if you have dogs, have a gate that will need to be unlocked and not at home every second during the workday, or want to find a company with customer service that respects customers and doesn't bully you I'd look elsewhere. Original review: The company was slow to respond. The first visit, they did an amazing job on the lawn and sent pictures which was nice. However, that is the only nice thing I can say. The price was a little higher compared to other quotes, however the work they promised seemed worth it. We were given no heads up, and they refused to mow our yard due to dog poop being in the yard (with the price we were paying it felt as if pick up would be included, but I digress). They demanded we drop our busy work life to pick up the poop and called me to tell me they refused to do service until this was done, which was relayed rudely to me. Then they came a second time with no warning and called me to say I was fired. All because of the dog poop in the yard, because we were given no heads up. I'd add that it was picked up for the time that they had originally claimed to come, but instead they didn't make it. The headache dealing with this company is not worth it for me when you can find other companies to do almost the same work for cheaper. I had considered letting them go, however I was happy to mutually split ways when Karen called to "fire me." The lack of customer service was unacceptable, and I refuse to be bullied and yelled at for a job that I am paying a company to do. read more

They are the ONLY lawn service that responded to my phone call and kept the appointment. They came out right away. I am a single woman trying to make ends meet, they worked with me on jobs and prices and that have done a beautiful, job keeping the lawn nice. Customer service is platinum. Karen calls, texts, sends pictures of every job. read more

In January 2017, I contracted with Diamond Lawn Care Services of 110 Traders Cross, Bluffton, South Carolina 29909 to perform landscaping services which included planting two Pindo palm trees on my rental property in Bluffton, SC. In early 2018, these two trees appeared to be dying. I contacted Diamond about this issue and they said the January 2018 frost probably killed them. In July 2018, they provided me an estimate of $710.50 for replacing the 2 palm trees and removal and disposal of the two died trees. This estimate did not state any warranty period for these trees. The replacement work was completed in September 2018. I also contracted at that time with Absolute Irrigation to install an irrigation system which cost $205. In November 2018, the palm tree looked fine. Then this year the palm tree started dying - actually not palm tree any more - died. I contacted Absolute Irrigation who subsequently found no problems with the irrigation system, which was also confirmed by my renter. I contacted Diamond and talked to a Karen who said "That being said, we only give a limited 30 day warranty on plants. The only palms you will find a 1 year warranty are on the tall sable palms that are $1200 each. I am sorry to hear this happened, there is nothing we can do." At no time, was I advised there was only a 30 day warranty period for most of their plants either during the original purchase or during the replacement purchase. As noted before, no statement to that effect was made on the estimate and invoice. However, when I went online and downloaded my accepted estimate in July 12, 2018, I noticed they added "no warranty on palms" which was not on the original estimate. It is my understanding from talking to others many landscapers provide 1 year warranties on their plants with some specific exceptions. Apparently, Diamond Lawn Care does not stand by their products and services. Additionally, they are willing to practice deception to cover their butts. I have found Diamond Lawn Care of Bluffton, SC to be dishonest and, consequently, irreputable. For these reasons, I will never use them again and I recommend all others not to do business with them. read more

Took two months for them to come out from time of quote request to time of actually coming to do the job. Requested to have a large bush removed from the front of my yard and they gave me a price. After hacking up the bush they decided that they wouldn't be able to remove the bush without additional equipment, jumping the cost to triple the amount originally quoted. I am nine months pregnant and about to go on leave and don't have that kind of cash at my disposal, especially considering the fact that I requested the work be completed two months prior. They left behind a hacked up bush with about three foot tall trunks and they still requested that I pay the full amount originally quoted for the full removal of the bush because they felt they put more man hours in than originally expected. I'm sorry but if you are a professional landscaping company you should be aware of the time needed to complete a job and not expect your customers to pay for your mistakes. I went ahead and paid the amount but will NEVER use this company again. I've now paid them hundreds to remove a bush that will only grow back in a few months because only the branches were removed and not the actual shrub itself. If I knew they couldn't remove the whole bush then I would not have had them do any work. As a professional company they should not have done work on a project they couldn't complete then tell me I still have to pay the amount quoted for the full job. Now I'm out hundreds and in a few weeks will have the same product I requested to have removed but will have to do myself while caring for a newborn and recovering from a csection. Great business practice. read more
