Unfortunately, we did not get the chance to actually experience horseback riding because there was very important information that was withheld when we called to book a reservation. When we phoned to book an appointment, a very sarcastic woman told me that if we didn't arrive at exactly the time she said, she'd have to kill us.. i get it, supposed to be humorous, but I didn't appreciate it. she was also coughing up a lung, she probably smokes 4 packs a day, but not exactly what you want to hear in covid times. when we arrived the next morning, which by the way, we were coming in from Toronto, she eyed us top to bottom (very uncomfortable), out her hands to her face like she wanted to cry and said "this is the worst part of my job, i'm sorry to tell you you're too heavy for this activity". there were 3 of us, and she made all of us feel like absolute crap, so much so, that one of us actually had to quickly walk out to have a good cry in the car. I asked why they didn't say there were weight restrictions when we phoned, and they said it was because they don't want to make people feel bad, and that often people lie. The worst part is that the woman, Flo, who told us this actually played the part of the victim, saying that she felt horrible, it would keep her up at night... WE drove hours to get there, not HER, WE were told we were too heavy! Which, by the way, she didn't even say what the weight restriction is and not one of us was over 180.. Please save yourselves time, money, and the god-awful stench of cigarettes and smoke in that ranch. They need a disclaimer on their website and they need to treat people with respect and do proper screening on the phone. Please don't support this business., if nothing else, for the way they made us feel.. read more
