I took a chance based on my positive experience getting my dog`s nails clipped at Clippers N Suds. My dog was HAPPY when I picked him up. Not just excited to see me, but he walked home with a big smile. There was no acting out (once he peed on a rug because he was pissed off we took him to the groomers). He wasn`t mad, anxious or anything but HAPPY when I got home. He looks great too. Maybe I`m biased but he`s adorable. Tannis was friendly and best of all, she likes my dog! I know my dog hates baths and the dryer, but she told me he was good, particularly for the grooming though he does not like the dryer. LOL. That`s putting it nicely. I also know he whines in a very high pitch chirps when I have to leave him there but when I asked, she just smiled and said he was good boy. The other employee in the back was very nice and said my dog was a real cutie. It`s a huge relief to find a groomer that takes good care of my dog. It`s a good feeling to have knowing that the people grooming my dog like him too. Thanks Tannis! We will be back.

He's never been more excited to see his groomer and always comes out looking like a champ. They don't have a mass drop off time which is nice you bring them in and after a couple hours he's ready. He gets that one-on-one attention that I think he deserves and they do an amazing job of caring for him and making sure that he looks and feels amazing. Always excited to go and always just the best environment when you go there. Definitely a thumbs up thank you guys for taking care of him. You definitely are going above and beyond and it's nice to see people that care about him as much as we do.

She kept him for three hours to ease him into the routine. I'm not sure why, but my dog's hair prior to visiting May was matted. His fur starting growing massively, and it out of control. As a result, May has to cut off his beard, around his ears, and a couple of other problem areas where it was matted. We bought a new brush from May (good price too), to prevent this from happening again. Our puppy was washed, teddy bear cut, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, bum tided up, and with tip and tax, it came up to about $70. Since our dog was a puppy, May gave us a discount, which was much appreciated. I think for more basic services (no fancy haircut), the price is cheaper.

We, specifically, requested the dogs have their nails both trimmed and dremeled. The nails were not dremeled, nor were they groomed well. We noticed within a day that our daily brushing was still removing hand fulls of hair. Clearly an indication that the dogs were not thoroughly groomed. We dropped the dogs off at their 1:00pm scheduled appointment and were told that they would call us around 4:00. As we didn't receive a call we called and were told the dogs would be ready at 4:30. When we arrived we were told 10 more minutes. By no means did we rush them and we, patiently, waited in our vehicles for 15 minute to lessen the chaos inside. We are, extremely, disappointed with the service and the response we received. A, total, lack of accountability on the business.

Went to pick up my dog today. Was not greeted in anyway when I came in. A man I've never met before…read morewas at the counter. He never said one word to me. He grabbed the ATM machine plugged in what I owed, I guess, because he never said anything. Pushed it over-the-counter towards me without making eye contact nor saying one word to me. And expected me just to pay. No niceties. No customer service. No acknowledgement of my presence other than, "give me your money" which wasn't even verbalized just the machine being pushed towards me. His name is Jessie and he is the owner of the salon. I asked him if that was the case, he confirmed it. I said that his customer service was very lacking and that it just looked to me like he just wanted my money and for me to get the hell out of there. He said that he was sorry I felt that way. He is a condescending, not nice guy. No words for how rude he is. I told him that as well. I will not be back.

I have been going to Shampooch for years and have been very happy with the results until this time…read more I brought my dog in for a haircut and it ended up with her in extreme pain for a week. She was groomed down to the skin on her belly and between her legs making it very painful to walk. Took her to the vet where I was told she either had severe razor burn or an infection due to improper sterilization of the clippers. I left the vet with painkillers and a numbing Mousse. Tried for a couple days to reach anyone at the Shampooch shop but the phone was not answered. After about 5 days I got a hold of the Owner Jessie who told me that he would get back to me after he spoke to the groomer. When he called me back he said that the groomer did nothing wrong and that was the end of it. So basically I was told that my dog's pain and $300 vet bill was not his issue. I came to Shampooch because of the former owner Cheryl who was a fantastic person who truly loved animals and only hired the best groomers. After spending a week looking into my best friend's eyes and seeing the pain in them I will not be coming back to Shampooch and if you care about your furry child you should not as well. The majority of the 5star reviews were for the previous owner, this shop has changed
