Last week I tried to make an appointment for my husband's medication renewal & FOR THE FIRST TIME saw the practice is completely closing. Per the website, we are instructed to call if we need medical records- I left detailed messages last week 4/6 & again on 4/10- no callback! I just tried again today 4/14 & left a 3rd message. These are our medical records & we NEED them- they are required by law to provide them. Website says they are closing the office at month end. BE WARNED!

They charged me $211 for new patient establishment. When I logged into my account they didn't even change my old address. I spend more than 30 minutes to fill all my new information and they through it in the garbage and used my existing information in the system. I have a proof of my screenshot if any one wants. So, that means practice is cheating the patients by charging new patient establishment charges even though they change nothing in the system. This is one way of cheating the patients. They don't have any ethics in the practice. Hat's off to Dallas Medical specialists for inventing new way of cheating the patients.

I would highly recommend this practice due to the variety of services offered and the friendly caring staff. No one or place is perfect.... People make mistakes; but, taking ownership is key. There's a weirdo named Farrukh T. Awan a former doctor at UT SOUTHWESTERN CANCER RESEARCH CENTER who's going around trying to solicit good doctors to break the law and join in killing me via a Mercury Vac System. Farrukh T.Awan and his partner Karan Hayat are dangerous people and should be avoided and reported immediately upon contact. Beware that former McKinney, Texas Police Officer Brad Hamrick and Sreyesh Dronamaraju; they may be working with Farrukh T. Awan per Farrukh T. Awan. The last 2 pictures are the female and male that's calling themselves Dharma and they're trying to pass A.I.D.S with a MERCURY VAC SYSTEM. Also, beware of "Doctor" Brian Koffman who is impersonating as the leader of the CLL Society.

There was a complete lack of follow-up, particularly when it came to lab work. Labs were ordered, but no one took responsibility for explaining what the results meant, how they connected to my symptoms, or what the next steps should be. A truly holistic practice understands that labs without interpretation are meaningless. Communication was dismissive and impersonal. I received canned, generic responses from providers I had never met or spoken with, which only reinforced how fragmented and inattentive this practice is. When I raised legitimate concerns about my care, I was met with attitude rather than curiosity, defensiveness instead of collaboration. Holistic care requires presence, continuity, education, and partnership. What I experienced was absence, poor coordination, and indifference. I never felt seen, heard, or supported--only processed. If you are looking for a practice that genuinely walks with you through your health journey, explains your labs, and treats concerns with respect, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This office may use the word holistic, but the care delivered does not reflect it.

Long story short I've been a loyal patient for many years and the wait time and overall office experience has not improved. You will wait 1-2 hours for a regular physical, annual exam, bloodwork, ekg, etc and this is with a scheduled appointment. I would literally avoid going to the doctor just because the wait time is horrible. They probably should stop taking walk ins and new patients until they can get more FNP to help Dr. Worrell. I don't even know if he is still there considering he is an older man and has been there many years. The front office is not the best to communicate with by phone nor do they send referrals or provide other providers your information in a timely manner.

I have been a patient here for at least 6 years. I saw Dr. Worrell my first visit and he was very…read moreknowledgeable and seemed thorough, so even though it was a 45 minute drive from my house, I came back. At my next appointment I saw Camilo Paredes his PA and for the next 5 years+ he became the only one I would see. Camilo alone deserves 5 stars, he was the absolute best! He left the practice last year and honestly I wanted to follow him to his new practice, and it's a good hour drive from my house, but sadly I have an HMO and his new practice does not accept my insurance. Since Camilo has been gone I've seen Dr. Worrell a few times, a couple of other PA's (Jesse and another really nice woman) and they all seemed nice and knowledgeable. The reason I am giving my experience a 1 is because of the office staff. They are great in person, but when it comes to contacting them by phone for anything other than making an appointment to come in they are absolutly hands down the worst at helping you or returning phone calls or patient emails. I was called into the office to discuss bloodwork the last time I went in. I was prescribed a medication that was covered by insurance but required a preauthorization form to be completed. I had my insurance company fax them the form which they completed and returned. DENIED! When I asked my insurance company what the problem was they indicated that the form was filled out but apparently didn't acknowledge my diagnosis or the form was not completed correctly. I called the office and was sent to a voicemail where I left a message but the call was never returned. So I again asked the insurance company to resend the preauthorizatin form and again my request for the medication was denied for the same exact reason. At this point I am wondering how qualified Kayla (the person appointed to fill out preauthorization forms) actually is. So again, I contact her and leave a voicemail. Still waiting to be contacted to find out why she can't fill out a form correctly and actually do her job...because why would the doctor prescribe a medication that needs a preauthorization, which is fine since I was diagnosed with the condition it was meant for, but she can't fill out a form to reflect that diagnosis? It blows my mind!! This is my current issue with the office staff, but there have been others. When my pharmacy has tried to contact the office for various reasons they have expressed to me on numerous occasions that they can't get anyone on the phone and they can't get a call back. Also, every visit they ask you to confirm your pharmacy, which I do every single time...its been the same pharmacy for 5 years, but the last time they called in my prescriptions they called them in to the wrong pharmacy and now have that wrong pharmacy listed as my primary pharmacy even though I told them it was incorrect. It's like pulling teeth to get anything from them once you leave the office. They are extremely frustrating! This alone kills the experience and is 100% why they are rated 1, which would be a 0 if it was possible to give that rating! Needless to say I am currently looking at finding a new PCP, one that has competent staff working, and who work with diligence on providing help when dealing with insurance companies and pharmacies.
