The worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life, i have just been spoken down to and condescended over a 7 minute phone call, during which i have been told that the store will be keeping €300 of MY money, this was a deposit (the minimum they allowed us to put down) I had put on a table and explained that house sale had not yet gone through, they agreed at the time not to order it in from factory until we gave them the go-ahead.
As house sale has fallen through we are not in a position to take this dining set and have been informed that we will not receive our money back.
They openly state that they have not ordered the table from supplier so this is not a case that they would be left with it, they simply state that they won't be returning my money.
Keith, who tells me he is the manager, has suggested, after much debate, that as a gesture of good will (his words) he could allow us €300 off the price of something else. I am truly shocked that allowing me to spend my own money is considered a gesture of good will!!
We have been told that under no circumstances will our money be returned.
I am outraged and appalled at the shocking manner in which customers are treated once any money has changed hands, before which all staff were ever so helpful and friendly. Daylight robbery and no better than common thieves. read more
