I took my Infiniti to the Transmission Factory after going to the AAAMCO shop in Lake Park, FL…read morewhere I had already signed in and given my keys to the desk clerk when I was made to feel by the manager like I was intruding instead of being a potential customer. I took my keys back and left that shop. Mark at the Transmission Factory was the polar opposite in terms of his customer approach and professionalism. After a 3 minute drive in my car Mark said I did not have a transmission issue but did likely have a bad driver side front wheel bearing. He subsequently gave me the names of two repair shops he knew to be capable and fair. I did not spend one penny at Marki's shop but here I am writing him a glowing review. I plan to use his shop and recommend him to friends and family. I very seldom write reviews but in this case, II'd give him 10 stars if I could. Integrity and professionalism matter.

Brought the truck here and within 15-20 minutes the owner knew what was wrong and was as very polite on the next steps. Ford unfortunately did not have the transmission in stock and we had to wait 6 weeks to get the part, they also couldn't get us an appointment for another month, after delivery. However as soon as the part was finally in the US, the owner not only got the transmission but worked on the transmission himself and we got our truck back in 3 days. Backed up the work, and checked the transmission several times. He was fair, kind, patient, never pushy, any work on our truck will be here. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I have to provide an update to my original 5-star review. After having some work…read moredone at the shop, my windshield washers weren't working, but I had just assumed I was out of fluid (even though the low fluid light was not on). I topped it off with washer fluid and the next morning it had emptied completely on my driveway. Turns out that some of the mounts for the reservoir were missing (the ARS mechanic had removed it to work on my vehicle) and because of that, the reservoir cracked and was leaking. Secondly, the low fluid switch wires were broken which is why I didn't know it was leaking before. I'm assuming the wires snapped when the mechanic removed it (it's hard to see the plug because it's tucked behind the reservoir). I reached out to ARS for help, but never received a response. So, I spent a few hours of my weekend trying to patch the cracked washer reservoir and re-soldered the wires. I was able to reduce the rate of the leak but it still drips out. I'll eventually have to purchase a new tank ($80 + shipping) and level sensor ($45 + shipping) and replace them. I also noticed most of the plastic clips that hold various parts of the undercarriage are missing. When I had work done at the Honda dealership, it was a bit more expensive, but they would always replace these clips, and I never received my vehicle back with broken parts. It's a shame because otherwise this would have been a good experience.

Pboys initially said the transmission was blown out and had to be replaced completely. When I showed up to Rogers he said he couldn't see any issues and he couldn't take the car (since the codes were deleted). He said to bring it back when it started to fail again. Sure enough about 2-3 weeks later issues came back and he was able to diagnose, and give options as to the best solution. It was an expensive project but given the car market and this being a reasonable solution to a 2013 Cruze that would expand the life of the car we went for it. Almost 4K later the car was fixed within a week and has driven fine ever since. 4 or so months later the car hasn't given any issues and happy that I found AAMCO. Very knowledgeable, well priced, financing options, and while I personally hate being in positions where I may not know the issues at hand I would definitely trust Roger and AAMCO next time we need to fix something in our car. I paid $88 for a diagnosis with the 1st store and expected to pay for one with aamco but since there were no issues that could be observed, they actually didn't charge me anything for the first visit. Anyway all that to say, they were very respectful, fair and honest.

Go there, get the manager who I think knew I was coming and he def knew that I knew the owner. They ran their tests or whatever and he comes back saying I need new ignition coils. For one reason or another I ended up bringing it to the Honda dealer and I told the rep there that aamco said I needed new ignition coils. He looks at me and says, "I've worked here 20 years and I've seen maybe 3 of them that needed changing." He said 3 because Charlie's place said I needed all 4. Bottom line was I never needed 1. That accord sucked and so does this aamco. They literally are clueless at best, thieves at worst. Either way stay away.
