Vic and his team are very detail oriented, efficient as well as kind! I was so happy to go there…read moreand get the services I needed at a great rate for my Lexus, and I walked out with no surprises and paid what they told me I would! I have already referred people to him and they have been equally pleased! I love having a neighborhood Car guy!!

Unfortunately, I have to provide an update to my original 5-star review. After having some work…read moredone at the shop, my windshield washers weren't working, but I had just assumed I was out of fluid (even though the low fluid light was not on). I topped it off with washer fluid and the next morning it had emptied completely on my driveway. Turns out that some of the mounts for the reservoir were missing (the ARS mechanic had removed it to work on my vehicle) and because of that, the reservoir cracked and was leaking. Secondly, the low fluid switch wires were broken which is why I didn't know it was leaking before. I'm assuming the wires snapped when the mechanic removed it (it's hard to see the plug because it's tucked behind the reservoir). I reached out to ARS for help, but never received a response. So, I spent a few hours of my weekend trying to patch the cracked washer reservoir and re-soldered the wires. I was able to reduce the rate of the leak but it still drips out. I'll eventually have to purchase a new tank ($80 + shipping) and level sensor ($45 + shipping) and replace them. I also noticed most of the plastic clips that hold various parts of the undercarriage are missing. When I had work done at the Honda dealership, it was a bit more expensive, but they would always replace these clips, and I never received my vehicle back with broken parts. It's a shame because otherwise this would have been a good experience.

WARNING - They did over $500.00 damage to my car and won't pay for it! I brought my 2020 Toyota…read moreCamry there for an oil change on 9/10/25. I bought this car brand new and have done most of the oil changes myself because of the oddball oil it uses. 0W-16 full synthetic was hard to find back then so, unless I went to the Toyota dealer, I did it in my garage because I don't trust quick lube shops. Sold my house and tools so I can't do oil changes any more. I stopped in and talked to a technician and they said they have that oil in stock. They did the oil change and lost a tire valve stem cap. Went back and they did not have any spares. No big deal, but unbeknownst, to me, they stripped out the most of the screws holding the oil pan access cover on. Last oil change I did myself on 7/2/25 and the oil pan cover was in perfect condition. Went to a body shop to get an estimate on some body work and they told me the oil pan cover was hanging down. Went back to Valvoline and asked for the manager, he would not come out but the tech tried to put the cover back on. He could not so I had them remove the cover and I took it home. Contacted Valvoline Corporate Customer Care team and they set up a conference call with the manager that did not want to talk to me at the shop. He stated his technician was his best man at the shop and would never strip out those screw clips. Asked me why it took 2 months to bring it back in. How would I know it was hanging down? I did not run over anything. Claim denied, corporate not responsible as this is a franchise location. Bottom line, don't go there. I am a retired industrial mechanic and have been changing the oil in my cars and trucks for over 50 years. The new cars put plastic under the engine compartment for aerodynamics. It is easy to remove, 4 metal screws into plastic clips. You can take the screws out with a power tool but not put them in or they will strip out. They lack the basic skills in auto repair.
