They may be good for cars, but they cannot/will not clean the area of a boat bottom which is on the bunks of a trailer. I take this small boat to the coast and leave it in the water for up to 5 days at a time and it is crucial that this area is protected. They have no jacks or other methods of making sure this area is cleaned and protected from marine contaminants. It was aggravating when I showed up for an appointment and they would not even discuss potential solutions. Luckily, another boat detailer was within a stone's throw and was gladly and easily able to accommodate my concerns. read more

I contacted Adam with Diamond Detailing to bring our 10-year old boat's gelcoat back to life. It had been three years since its last compound/wax and the gelcoat was VERY chalky. We also wanted a hideous decal & the Chaparral lettering removed. They had to dry sand, wet sand, compound & wax it. Adam sent pictures & video of the progress along the way to show me how it was going. Topped it off with an interior detailing and I'm ready for the summer. The boat looks brand new again. Very fair price given all the work that went into it. I was prepared to pay much more - and would have gladly done so given the results. I checked out some of the work he does on cars too. Adam provides a great service for the money spent. I've used diamond detailing a couple times, once to detail a 36' boat and another time to come to the house to detail a car. Both times the finished product came out perfect. He has great attention to detail. The one thing that really stood out with the service was their willingness to stay until the job is done and not just until the job was 'good enough'. This review is a few months late in posting, but we used Diamond Detailing to clean our mini van and car. They both turned out great, but let's talk mini van. We have 3 small children, so you can imagine the mess they have made in a van that is 2 years old. When Adam was done detailing it, it looked new again! We couldn't believe it! Gone were the juice box spills, etc! Amazing! Also, we had a miscommunication on scheduling at one point. Diamond Detailing really stepped up to the plate about not pointing fingers and doing what they could, to make us happy. It was refreshing to have that customer service, something I find lacking with most businesses. They took the time to understand exactly what I needed and had the experience, knowledge, and tools to help restore life to a nearly 3year old full vinyl wrap on my company pickup truck. This is not a truck that's had a particularly easy life, spending most it's time in Massachusetts before coming south and being used as an everyday work truck (21k miles in the last 4months). Do you remember the last couple of winters they had up there??? The black wrap had water stains, dried up sap, sun damage, and chemical damage. The gloss black parts of the wrap were a dull, lifeless black when I dropped it off. The wrap looks better than I ever imagined it could after all that it's gone through. The chrome looks brand new and the interior as flawless as the day it drove off the showroom floor in 2014. I can't be more satisfied with what I paid for in a vehicle detail. I'm a detailer's worst nightmare. Before tendonitis, I was the guy out in my driveway every Saturday morning washing, drying, and detailing my sports car for 4 hours. Same routine every week. (Guess how I got the tendonitis in my wrists...) I was either cleaning race brake dust off my car from a week at the track or prepping for the Saturday night car show. I research everything and stick with what's best for my situation. I am a Zaino aficionado. I'm picky. I'm set in my ways. And I think I know everything. I've had a 10-year-old unrestored car with 140,000 miles mistaken as new. Expectations set, yet? Following tendonitis, I had to outsource cleaning my car. I visited several places in the 30 miles surrounding Charlotte. Diamond Detailing impressed me. The only shop that impressed me. Adam is easy to work with, knowledgeable, personable, honest, and forthright. He cares. He listens. He advises. He discusses. He has a passion for his work. He feels empowered to disagree, but tells you why...then follows your final decision. When we settled on a course of action for my older sports car, he went to work and he delivered. As good as the best that I've worked with. Following the purchase of a new vehicle, I researched ceramic coatings. Diamond Detailing applies Ceramic Pro, which was the product I'd previously selected. Adam told me he could apply the coating in two days, but the results would be better if he had three. It was worth the bit of extra inconvenience! Not a smudge or smear anywhere, and I'm extra picky about windshields. It works as advertised...nothing sticks to the car. Road grime just rinses off. The paint is glossy to the point that the dark grey paint looks half a shade darker. It showed how tough it is following an unfortunate meeting with a 60-gallon trash bin. I expected a big, nasty scratch but found almost no damage. And no more windshield wipers...like permanent Rain-X. So, whether a normal detail or a 4-figure ceramic coating, you will not be disappointed. read more
