I LOVE MY RING!!!" Background of this story: I spotted this gorgeous ring by perusing DCBR one day while I was waiting to drop off a ring that needed repair. I mentioned how beautiful it was to Ariane and Ramona, even tried it on for kicks. It was STUNNING and fit me perfectly--think Cinderella's glass slipper {TING!} Sadly, I left without it because, frankly, just wasn't in my budget at the time. But I went home and gushed to hubby about it anyways. He listened attentively but then quickly dismissed the subject. My dream of ever owning this ring went down the drain. You've heard of jewelers switching diamonds and couldn't imagine it happening to you, well it happened to me. I should have written this review years ago... When my fiancé was looking for my ring to be made he went here because this is where my mother had all of her jewelry made. Ramona was custom making my engagement ring and wedding band. Most of the diamonds were my grandmothers we just needed to buy a center stone. Ramona said she had one, my husband, my mother and I looked at it very carefully with a loupe and were very impressed. My fiancé bought that stone and asked Ramona to include it in my ring sets. We get engaged. Soon after I'm wearing the ring and notice a big black line in the middle of the stone. I bring it to Ramona asking why the stone is different from the one she showed us originally. She of course said it was the same diamond and the flaw was the reason for the good price. I said there's no way that's the same stone, we wouldn't have missed that big black line you can see with the naked eye, I don't want that diamond, let's see if we can replace it. She says ok well I have basically the exact same diamond but without the flaw for a few thousand more, and pulls out another diamond from her filing case. At that point I realized she had switched the diamond from the one that she sold us to the one she actually made my ring with. Not to mention....the way she made my wedding band to sit flush with the engagement ring caused a CHIP in that same stone a few months later. So now my ring has a large black line in it and a bit fat chip to match. read more

Ramona was so incredibly awesome to work with -- We went to her to design my wedding bands. However, we had a special request...We wanted her to use my grandmother's old ring. We wanted to use the diamonds for my wedding bands, and then use the old metal of my grandmothers ring to make a special gift for my mother. With no hesitancy and total confidence, Ramona got started on this for us right away. She was willing to hold the rings as long as we needed, and most importantly, we trusted her. Even when there was a hiccup on the amount of diamond needed and pricing, we were able to discuss it with her and clear it up with no issues. I took my wedding ring into Ramona to fix my prawns. Ramona and her staff are very friendly. Her kitty's are very cute. My rings look beautiful after her work. It was a breathe of fresh air to find a business owner who is honesty and reputable. Ramona staff forgot to call me to give me my bid to fix my ring but Ramona said it was their fault and charged me 1/3 of the cost of what it should of cost. Ramona will go to bat for you! My wife's ring lost the stone down the garbage disposal due to it not being set correctly (by a jeweler in MN, NOT Ramona), and I didn't have much time to make it right before our 3rd anniversary. Ramona pulled some strings and somehow got it done in time! I think the ring looks better after going to Ramona than they day we got it! Not only that, she quoted me a very fair price. My experience at Diamond Creations could not have been better! Ramona and Ariane possess a level of knowledge and customer service that is truly second to none. Ariane helped me pick out a custom engagement ring that turned out even better than I had hoped, only it wasn't quite up to THEIR standards. Ramona was clearly upset with the company that made the ring and had them re-make it so it was perfect. And when I got the new ring it was exactly that.
