UPDATE: I posted this on DCBR's Facebook page as well but HAD to share here too: "Ramona and Ariane, you sly little devils you!!! You both helped my husband pull off THEE best 40th birthday surprise EVER!!! I had no idea he remembered anything about this ring since it was, what? A year ago that I mentioned to you gals that I loved it?? When he pulled out the little purple Diamond Creations by Ramona bag, I got teary eyed because I hoped it was this ring that I had been dreaming about all year. Sure enough, the second I opened the little black box, I started crying! Thank you two SO MUCH for helping him with this!!! You helped make my birthday the most memorable ever! You're the best. I LOVE MY RING!!!" Background of this story: I spotted this gorgeous ring by perusing DCBR one day while I was waiting to drop off a ring that needed repair. I mentioned how beautiful it was to Ariane and Ramona, even tried it on for kicks. It was STUNNING and fit me perfectly--think Cinderella's glass slipper {TING!} Sadly, I left without it because, frankly, just wasn't in my budget at the time. But I went home and gushed to hubby about it anyways. He listened attentively but then quickly dismissed the subject. My dream of ever owning this ring went down the drain. Well my hubby contacted DCBR behind my back and collaborated with them to get me this ring for my 40th birthday (even though my 40th was a year away!) He COMPLETELY caught me by surprise and part of that was thanks to Ramona and Ariane! To all the hubbys/boyfriends out there, if you want to surprise your significant other with a gorgeous piece of jewelry, BY ALL MEANS GO TO DCBR!! They were AMAZING!! Call them to see how they can make it possible! You (and your S/O) WON'T be disappointed! Promise! read more

If you want excellent quality and excellent service, hands down you have found the right place ! My fiance and I have been going to Ramona for all of our jewelry needs for the past 5 years, and his mother had been going here for years before us. Ramona has done everything from custom designed jewelry for us to designing my engagement ring and hand designing custom engrave work. We are more than satisfied with all of her work and can't imagine going anywhere else ! She aims to please her customers and will fine tune all the details to meet your liking. She goes above and beyond to ensure quality of her products and to ensure customer satisfaction. read more

Ramona was so incredibly awesome to work with -- We went to her to design my wedding bands. However, we had a special request...We wanted her to use my grandmother's old ring. We wanted to use the diamonds for my wedding bands, and then use the old metal of my grandmothers ring to make a special gift for my mother. With no hesitancy and total confidence, Ramona got started on this for us right away. She was willing to hold the rings as long as we needed, and most importantly, we trusted her. Even when there was a hiccup on the amount of diamond needed and pricing, we were able to discuss it with her and clear it up with no issues. She was understanding and knowledgeable throughout the entire process -- I highly recommend her! read more

You've heard of jewelers switching diamonds and couldn't imagine it happening to you, well it happened to me. I should have written this review years ago... When my fiancé was looking for my ring to be made he went here because this is where my mother had all of her jewelry made. Ramona was custom making my engagement ring and wedding band. Most of the diamonds were my grandmothers we just needed to buy a center stone. Ramona said she had one, my husband, my mother and I looked at it very carefully with a loupe and were very impressed. My fiancé bought that stone and asked Ramona to include it in my ring sets. We get engaged. Soon after I'm wearing the ring and notice a big black line in the middle of the stone. I bring it to Ramona asking why the stone is different from the one she showed us originally. She of course said it was the same diamond and the flaw was the reason for the good price. I said there's no way that's the same stone, we wouldn't have missed that big black line you can see with the naked eye, I don't want that diamond, let's see if we can replace it. She says ok well I have basically the exact same diamond but without the flaw for a few thousand more, and pulls out another diamond from her filing case. At that point I realized she had switched the diamond from the one that she sold us to the one she actually made my ring with. Not to mention....the way she made my wedding band to sit flush with the engagement ring caused a CHIP in that same stone a few months later. So now my ring has a large black line in it and a bit fat chip to match. read more

I have been taking my jewelry to Ramona since before she became Diamond Creations and have always been very satisfied. She majors in customer service and always goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect and that you are totally happy with your purchase. I was able to upgrade my wedding ring last year (thanks to my husband), and Ramona found me a beautiful diamond and setting. As far as I am concerned, she is the only jeweler in town! read more

I took my wedding ring into Ramona to fix my prawns. Ramona and her staff are very friendly. Her kitty's are very cute. My rings look beautiful after her work. It was a breathe of fresh air to find a business owner who is honesty and reputable. Ramona staff forgot to call me to give me my bid to fix my ring but Ramona said it was their fault and charged me 1/3 of the cost of what it should of cost. I really appreciate Ramona honesty and standing behind her word. I will refer friends and family. I will be a client for life. read more

Ramona will go to bat for you! My wife's ring lost the stone down the garbage disposal due to it not being set correctly (by a jeweler in MN, NOT Ramona), and I didn't have much time to make it right before our 3rd anniversary. Ramona pulled some strings and somehow got it done in time! I think the ring looks better after going to Ramona than they day we got it! Not only that, she quoted me a very fair price. I could tell she really cared about quality jewelry, and was honest. Needless to say, my wife was very happy! I will recommend Ramona to anyone I know that needs an amazing jeweler. read more

Diamond Creations By Ramona is the only jeweler my husband and I use...she is OUTSTANDING!! Ramona is so knowledgeable about gems, settings, repairs, etc. She goes out of her way to find the perfect pieces to add to jewelry collections or finding that beautiful unique piece that is one-of-a-kind. Ramona is involved in various San County community organizations and is gracious at volunteering her time and talent. Her extreme excellence as a jeweler is due to her high standards as a business woman, involved community member and the personal connection she makes with each and every customer/client. Ramona, you are the best of the best!!!! read more

I have to agree with the previous reviews, there is no need to go anywhere else than Diamond Creations by Ramona. If she doesn't have what you want in her store, she will design it for you. If she doesn't have the stone you want, she will find it for you. Ramona aims to please her customers to make sure they get what they want and deserve. She, and her staff, are both personable and professional, while offering only quality for that piece of timeless beauty to be admired for years to come. Thank you Ramona! read more

My jeweler went out of business and when I asked around about a good jeweler multiple friends recommended Diamond Creations. I went in to get my wedding ring fixed and was very pleased with the friendly service and professionalism. read more

My experience at Diamond Creations could not have been better! Ramona and Ariane possess a level of knowledge and customer service that is truly second to none. Ariane helped me pick out a custom engagement ring that turned out even better than I had hoped, only it wasn't quite up to THEIR standards. Ramona was clearly upset with the company that made the ring and had them re-make it so it was perfect. And when I got the new ring it was exactly that. This is the type of customer service that you would not experience at typical jewelry stores. You can rest assured that any piece of jewelry you purchase from them will be of the highest quality, or trust me they wouldn't sell it to you. I was so thrilled with my experience that I can't see myself ever going anywhere else. read more

I was extremely happy with the ring I got for my fiancé from Ramona! & even better my fiancé is ecstatic about the engagement ring. Ramona is great to work with, she's full of excitement and energy which is an awesome environment when buying an engagement ring in my case. She helped me put together the perfect engagement ring. We even sized the ring with dental floss! I highly recommend seeing Ramona for your jewelry needs! No complaints & all smiles. Thank you Ramona for all you're help! read more
