We had a price set, sent picture of the sofa, he guaranteed "I can definitely clean your couch" I even paid down payment because he insisted it then once he arrived, he said "I cant promise I'll be able to clean it for that price" and then quoted me 4x the agreed price for him to clean it. Honest Review, (Long but Useful) Update 8/4 3:30pm... I just got home and Carpet stinks...that's due to poor suction on machine, I've never inquired or used enzymes chemicals on the carpet, it has never stank of Pee smell... it smelled like mildew! Now everyone can see how it looked after the carpet was cleaned...below basically just wet the carpet and with poor suction l, extracted the water. I guess if you don't pay an additional cost for enzymes the carpet is treated with h20. Paid $105 for the hall way to be watered down. Plz Read Update at the bottom! So the conversation with Mr Anthony was very positive and professional, especially him/I being Whittier residents. BUT what I have learned through the years, when someone keeps stating the very basic in cleaning and mentioning (padding) costs for enzyme chemicals due to pets, I/We had our suspicions of a very basic quick job. Mind you I have carpet installation and cleaning experience both residential & Industrial when I was much younger, I know the basics and padded costs are firm but fair in school of thought... but there also customer service and new customer relations to consider, I purposely chose Diamond Cleaners because of a close proximity and all we wanted cleaned was my hallway (industrial carpet) Yes I have a small dog and under a blue light it will always reveal accidents but the carpet once it was cleaned didn't even smell like chemicals were used, we believe it was worse that before... almost as if the suction from the truck mount was weak. I'll attempt to post the video and you guys can be the judge of Mr Anthony's Wk...for the record I had to block him because he kept attempting to direct my logic of what we agreed on and simple carpet cleaning 101. This may be Important to share, Mr Anthony mentioned that I enjoy spending money on vacations but "that I'm a cheap person when it comes to investing in my home...!" Plz know I have a 40K remodeled back yard, I have never been cheap, but like many enjoy a good deal and will bargain for a preferential rate. Due to how often we clean our carpet yearly any dog owner would understand clearly. Update: So we Zelled a $25 deposit (for an agreed $80 job) and when the job was completed, Anthony asked for $80...which should have been $55, when asked for a refund he said, "Only if your husband pulls down the bad review." YELP COMMUNITY THIS IS WHAT YELP IS FOR, IT WAS MY WIFE THAT NOTICED HOW POOR OF A JOB IT WAS AND ASKED ME TO POST A REVIEW... I have never edited any review in my Yelp history...you have been informed! FYI: We clean this carpet 3-4 times a yearly... I just made appointment with another company that's coming Wednesday. Anthony called an hour and a half before our scheduled 10:30 cleaning to explain he could not make the appointment. He wanted to postpone it for 4 hours (at 2:30). Unfortunately, that time did not work for us so we rescheduled for the following week. After I spoke with my grandma (it was her place), she was upset that he did not follow through with the time as she made significant efforts the night before to pack up items only to have to unpack and then pack again for the following week. I called 2 days later to express her concern and that we will not be using his service. He refused to give us the deposit back saying it was non-refundable. Great working with Anthony, super professional guy that gives you plenty of information on what your carpet will need, the pricing for 1 master, hallway,and stairs was $250 which i find good and competitive to other carpet cleaners. There will be additional fees for additional treatment of course, my carpet looks and smells clean after the treatment, I just wish he got more of the corners and carpet closer to the wall but maybe his tool couldn't reach it which left some small debris.
