Worst service experience I've had in years!…read more I hired TrueNorth to install Christmas lights on my home for the first time this season, and it turned into a complete nightmare. They cancelled three separate installation appointments over the course of two weeks. While the reasons given were crew issues and weather, the most frustrating part was the second cancellation -- they didn't even bother to contact me. No call. No text. No email. They simply didn't show up. I was the one who had to reach out to find out why they failed to appear after promising they would. After that no-show, I received what seemed like a sincere apology along with a small discount and a fourth promised installation date. Unfortunately, just two days later, I received a message saying they would not be able to deliver the service this year at all, and instead offered a discount for next year. Why would anyone trust this company again after that? At no point did TrueNorth demonstrate reliability, accountability, or respect for my time. Christmas lighting is obviously a seasonal service, and failing repeatedly -- then backing out entirely -- defeats the whole purpose of hiring a professional company. I regret awarding them the contract in the first place and will never use this company again. If you value communication, reliability, or keeping commitments, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The owner Dan and his team went above and beyond to make sure they fixed our issue, as well as provided excellent follow up. No one is perfect, and it's really pleasing to see a company that stands behind it's promise of quality and customer satisfaction. We're thrilled and will continue to use True North Christmas lights for years to come! We highly recommend them.
