I went to this center for my very 1st ever mammogram today & my experience was great. Everything that was going to be done during the procedure was explained thoroughly to me in addition to the types of breast densities & what the doctor would be looking for in the films etc. Everyone at the front desk was friendly & helpful, I was seen in a timely manner, my exam was easier & quicker than I'd thought it'd be, I didn't have to wait long for the dr to review everything & for the tech to give me the results during the appt. I'd definitely go back to the facility again for my next needed mammogram, highly recommend. read more

The technicians were professional and caring. However, BILLING IS PREDATORY. They continued sending bills including a "FINAL NOTICE" on a balance we had already paid. Diagnostic Imaging Centers need to fix their broken billing processes and should NEVER threaten customers who have paid their bills. read more

WHO HAS THE VERY WORST MOBILE SCHEDLING APP...HOORAY! it's Diagnostic imaging Centers!!!!! The very most troublesome scheduling app I have ever used in my life!!! No only is is NOT user-friendly, it totally works against you to try and schedule appointments!!! Don't get me wrong, the staff is generally (not always) friendly and helpful. However, if I ran the place, the person in the IT department in charge of their mobile scheduling app would be terminated....immediately!!!!!!! read more

This location has lost my referrals, appointments and more. I have gotten texts from them saying we have a referral, call to schedule. I do so, show up, and I'm told rather rudely by a nurse "why are you here?" I've gone in with the reminder texts and emails about an appointment and when I get there that day, they had NO record of my appointment, even when I showed them the reminder emails and texts. No one has tried to help me. NOW the billing office has no record of 3 payments I sent this year. $170 of my money that they lost. Good luck talking to billing, the line sends you to a voicemail box that is full and then disconnects. read more

They schedule multiple people at the same time slot and you'll just have to wait it out. They couldn't tell me if I'd be charged if I opted to leave. read more

Had my second MRI here and Chad was exceptional! I had my first MRI elsewhere....for back pain... and the tech seemed totally oblivious to how difficult the procedure was with back pain. I scheduled an MRI in January for 2/14. Today, 2/10 they called and said it was scheduled incorrectly and can't get me in until MARCH! and then in North KC when I live SW of Harrisonville. I have a follow up appt for the16th for my suspected brain tumor.... Really - 4 days before and it's scheduled incorrectly???? The only good thing is if I die before then, they won't make $$$ off me. read more

First all came for my yearly mammogram. Was told I could not be seen until I paid collection balance. The lady at the front was very rude and decided to announce this loudly. The reason I was fighting collection was I was told my insurance covered 3 D when clearly they did not. Came here for years but will find elsewhere to go from now on. I had an appt. today in Independence at Diagnostic Imaging for an MRI. The lady at the desk, Linda, was probably the rudest and most hateful woman I've dealt with in a long time. She tried to tell me a I was 30 minutes late, which I wasn't. Then she said I should have filled out the paperwork before hand. I told her I never got anything to fill out...either online, text or mail. Then I saw they had the wrong phone number and email for me. If she really doesn't like dealing with people on a daily basis who are coming for tests and may be very emotional/upset/nervous/concerned, then she needs to find another job where she doesn't have to interact with people. I have always used Diagnostic Imaging in Lee's Summit and they are wonderful. I will never go back to the Independence location again. Hopefully they will tell Linda that she needs to find another job where she isn't so rude and mean to patients coming into the office. read more

For months after my breast cancer surgery this company called three times to remind me to set up an appointment for my first follow up mammogram. After taking off four hours to make the 45 minute drive, I disrobed and waited for the tech. The tech refused to complete the mammo and sent me home because they had no doctor order for the date of my appointment, which turned out to be 60 days from now. I would urge anyone looking for a reputable provider for their mammography to search elsewhere. I made the mistake of trying this place rather than my normal provider because they were 30 minutes closer to me. BIG mistake. From the moment I walked in the door they tried to up-charge me. Doing the hard sell for services not covered by my insurance. Then, after they completed my routine screening they had me wait for 10 minutes in a room while they reviewed my results. While waiting I heard them informing the lady in the room next to me that there were some things on her films that made them want to take a closer look so they needed additional films. But oh by the way those would be now considered diagnostic films so were going to charge extra! Then it was my turn, they came in and made the exact same speech to me!! I knew my previous provider had sent in copies of my films from previous years. I asked if there was any indication of change from those scans and they said "well, no, but he just wants to confirm". No, what they really want is your money and they are willing to do whatever to get it. Including sending a follow-up letter to your primary care provider insisting you need more screens. I followed up with my original provider who said there was no change and this wasn't the first time they had heard something like this about this center. Absolutely avoid this place!!! read more
