Don't waste your money and buy an inflatable. It's wayyyyyy more worth it! I paid for two years straight and finally cancelled. I was only able to go during the summer(of course) and it's $60+ a month for the whole year. Recently I decided to go and forgot I cancelled and was not allowed to get on a paddle board because the teenager working wanted to leave. I even offered to pay for a membership again a she said i would have to fill out a form AGAIN, but she wanted to leave so she didn't offer to wait. She turned away other non members who just wanted to paddle and pay too. Mind you, this was before they closed and with over 2 hours of sunlight left. Super disappointed and I miss the old personable staff. The photo is from my friends inflatable paddle board because I ended up having to go on a board with them because the teenage girl was ready to close shop early on a Friday evening. Again, get an inflatable!! You'll save loads of money and get to stay out for however long you'd like!

What a great time!! Hubby and I rented Stand Up Paddle Boards for 1hr and we had a great time! It was my hubby's first time and only my second time, but we picked it up quick. We had a 6pm rental on a Saturday night and were surprised to find it wasn't too crowded on the lake. We arrived about 30min early and thought we'd check in, see if we could head out earlier and we did! Signed waivers, grabbed fanny pack style life vests, carried our paddle boards down to the water, were given a few tips and instructions and off we went. We stayed closer to the shoreline since there were jet skiers and boats in the center and the wakes they provided were a bit much for us to navigate standing up, but we still had a great time and a great workout! I would strongly recommend trying DFW Surf at Little Elm either by yourself, with friends or for a romantic sunset paddle

If you want to learn to Paddleboard this is the place to go. When you arrive you will sign your waiver and then go put your things in a locker that's provided. Then head down to the lake where the paddleboards are lined up along the lake. An employee will get you set up with a life vest/belt and paddle. After going over some basic info it's time to get on water. You will start out on your knees to get a feel for it. Once you are away from the water edge, the instructor will show you how to stand up and paddle. It's great to at least try to stand but if it's more fun for you to stay seated then that's perfectly fine too. Alex helped us and he was so patient. We had such a great time that we are going back in July.

Wonderful rental facility! My daughters and I rented double kayaks for an hour. It was perfect. The owner is from Hawaii so he knows everything about water sports! Friendly and helpful staff are there is assist and answer questions. The prices for kayaks, paddle boards and others are reasonable. I think we'll try the surfing next time. You can book and sign waivers online. It was really convenient. We had a great time!

I started coming here in April for Paddle N Pints and found my place on this planet is on the water. I cancelled my gym membership and started a DFW Surf membership. I'm out here at least twice a week enjoying both the Surf n Turf fitness class to start my week (Monday night) and the Paddle N Pints (Friday night) to end it. There are so many classes and so much to do and you make friends unlike the local gym where no one talks to anyone, everyone here is so friendly and personable. Did I mention they have bikes? Outdoor + Exercise + Socializing = WINNER!

Looking a great place to cool off in this hot heat ? DFW surf in Frisco is the place to be ! They have friendly staff and awesome services . This place is easy to find with an amazing view. I've visited many DFW surf locations but by far this is my favorite location . My friends and I came here 3 times in a week . Recommended 2 hours of paddle rental to get a full lake experience.

It was our second time going to DFW surf renting kayaks for the weekend. We had a glorious time with beautiful weather the equipment was fantastic and did it's job. The staff was super nice and friendly and very informative and able to work with us on short notice which allowed us to book a reservation for the next time we came and be well prepared to go and enjoy our morning kayaking adventure! we plan on going every other weekend now and DFW surf @ hidden Cove has been the best place with friendly faces!

Great customer service! Loved that they have kids SUPs. We paid about $25 per hour per board.

The upstairs overlooks the surfing area and it took us away from feeling like we were in the colony. So, as far as a scenic overlook goes, it is unique in the north Texas area. For food, we tried a couple of different things, and the menu is definitely a step above your normal bar food or even casual restaurant food. The beat hummus was great, the assortment of veggies was unique and not the norm, and the pita bread was warm and fresh. We also ordered the fig pizza, which was delicious. Since we were there for cocktails, we kept things light, so we all split the venison tacos, which come two to a serving. They were a little light as an entrée, but we were there for the cocktails, right? So, five stars for the food, creativity, presentation, and options. They have a pretty big drink menu and options for beers. I would probably recommend that they look into their tap refrigerator because it's going to get a workout during the summer months. I like my beer really cold, and it could've used few degrees less when served in plastic glasses. I would also tell the staff to remind guests not to touch the bottom of the glass because it uses the tap and keg system where it fills the glass from the bottom I accidentally put my fingerinto the where the plug is and it dumped beer all over the table - rookie mistake! My only advice would be to consider the weather when you go. The upstairs does have some tables with gas fire pits and some heaters above; however, if you're sitting out around the edge, which we were, you may want to consider something to wear when the sun goes down on the cooler. Likewise, if you're out there during the middle of the summer, you might want to bring a hat, as those outdoor edges did not have umbrellas. I'm sure this place will be hopping now that the weather has turned nice. Regarding bathrooms, the upstairs patio has a shared one-seater, which seems to be a little bit of an afterthought as there is probably seating for about 30 people up there. We eventually found the larger bathrooms, which are down on the deck by the water, and the locker rooms, where people change to get into their swimwear. I would definitely recommend going down there if you're sitting upstairs. We meet one of the owners. He's a special forces ranger from Hawaii. Being a veteran myself, we enjoyed a little military talk.

He also is the sales rep for Liquid Force Kite and we bought the 15 m one. After 8 months of reliable use, our kite suffered a center strut rupture (things happen even to tough kites), but both esD and Liquid Force eagerly stood behind the kite and had us back on the water with fresh gear faster than we could have hoped (at no cost to us). It certainly inspires confidence when making a large purchasing decision like a new kite to know that, in the unlikely event something goes wrong, the people you're buying from and counting on for support, take your complete satisfaction so seriously. I would highly recommend Greg for his professionalism and helpfulness and LF kites for their extra ordinary support.
