We moved into a new home that had a saltwater pool and wanted some work done, as well as find a company for regular cleanings. We wanted to have the pool light replaced, as well as have the tiles acid washed and the surrounding brick pavers cleaned. I was given a quote on Tuesday, and told that if I could approve and pay deposit by Wednesday, the work could be completed that week. We went ahead and approved the quote, as well as paid the 50% deposit. Thursday morning the work began on schedule and things appeared to be going well. We were told the pool needed to be drained below the light, but they drained the entire pool instead. It was initially not a big deal, but when they called and asked us to approve additional work since the pool was already drained, I should have realized then how this company does business. Thursday evening I received a text saying the pool was being filled overnight, and to give them an update in the morning so they could come back and finish up. I sent a text with a picture around 9:00 am. By about 1:00 pm when I had not received any response, I called and texted again. No response again. Finally someone responded and said they would be there by 3:00 pm. I received a call at 3:00 pm stating they were picking up the sealant and on their way. Someone arrived around 3:45 pm and put several bags of salt and chemicals into our pool. I could immediately tell that it was WAY too much salt, as it created a rim around the entire pool. The individual left about 10 minutes later with our pool looking absolutely terrible... lots of dirt and debris, a salty rim formed all around the pool, and the machine beeping saying there was way too much salt. I assumed they were coming back and would not leave their customers' pool like this over the weekend. Especially when they said the work would be done this week! After about an hour, I reached out with pictures and videos asking when this was going to be corrected. I sent numerous texts, phone calls, and emails over a two hour period. Finally someone responded and told me that this was completely normal and that the salty rim would be filtered out, and that the rest of the work would be done the following week! Keep in mind the machine was telling me our pool had twice the safe limit. I'm not sure whether they just do not know how to service a saltwater pool, or if they are just that negligent, but this company should not be trusted in your home. They also had the audacity to send me a bill for work that I had to hire another company to come out and fix/ complete. Our new company was APPALLED at the condition our pool was left in and has encouraged us to report them to the State. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs.

Took my name and number and said someone would call me, but of course they never did. After spending thousands of dollars, I'm left with a huge stain the entire length of my pool. In addition... I hired them to clean the pool. They didn't show up for weeks and the pool turned green. Algae grew on the surface. When John finally did show up, he forgot to bring a vacuum. Really? He said he would go to the store to pick it up and come back, but he never returned. Again, I paid for a service which I did not receive. The list of complaints can go on and on. John seemed like a really nice guy at first, but once I paid in full and had an issue, they disappeared. Horrible customer service. Not professional. Unfortunately, it appears that the only way to resolve the issue is to sue them.

There was very little professionalism or customer care shown during the conversation. In addition, we repeatedly asked them to inspect and address equipment issues multiple times throughout service, and nothing was ever followed up on or repaired. Most disappointing was the complete lack of urgency after explaining that we had Mother's Day plans with multiple mothers and children coming over in just a few days. At that point, we were simply looking for help getting the pool back in shape quickly, but it was clear they did not care about retaining us as customers. Poor communication, lack of follow-through, and poor customer service overall. Please consider another company. He had come to me by a recommendation from Pinch n Penny pool store. Jack did not show up but he sent a worker over to look at the problem. He fixed the problem but in the process created another when he broke the cover to my main drain by blowing compressed air into the pipe to "clear any debris" there was not anything stuck in the line and the only thing he managed to do was blow off my cover from the inside. I honestly was not adamant that he fix it on the spot since my concern was the vac. This was a mistake I realized because after he took my money he said: "I'll put my number on the invoice and I'll come back if you need me to put the cover back on. If you need me to just call me later in the week." and he was off with my money. I soon realized that the vac was getting stuck in the open drain now that he had broken the cover off. I texted him and he said he'd be out later in the week and never arrived, then he ignored my next 3 text messages over a few days. After calling a few times as well I called Jack again and explained the issue and lack of communication. He said in a text that "he" meaning Jack, would be over to fix it in a day or two. Two days later the same worker shows up with a very hostile and unprofessional attitude. This guy showed up on my property and starts harassing me about calling his boss. Then he starts yelling and claims that I was supposed to have bought a new cover myself. So I confronted him about the fact that he broke the cover in the first place and he lied on the spot of course and claimed that he didn't break it even though I saw it happen. I will not have some service working speaking to me like that in my house and I told him to "go and just get the hell out of here, and not to ever come back on my property." When I messaged Jack at the owner his only reply was "Have a Nice Day." I texted him a few more times and he will not reply. No wonder his workers behave the way they do. They learned it from daddy.

I call him Dr. Pool. Jim is obsessed with the science of finding and fixing pool leaks. Of course like the other three repair attempts I've had he found the "usual suspects" right away and fixed them. His price was reasonable and I paid him but then within a week it seemed like the pool was still leaking. So I called the doctor and over the next 4 weeks I saw the passion and determination that Jim has for what he does as "unusual suspects" started to appear that I had no idea about. I never had to bug Jim. He kept texting me and kept coming back until our last test two days ago and finally - Success AND no extra charge. He stood behind his work. For the first time I am totally confident my pool is leak free and it's a great feeling. I never felt this after the other 3 repair attempts. In my case, when digging the pool there was a cave-in on one end of the pool. I reported this to Liberty but they didn't do anything to compact that soil, let alone send someone to see what happened. I believe this is the reason the tile problems were most severe at the end of the pool shown in the 3 pictures. However, the major issue I feel is the decking subcontractors they kept sending out were just not good at their craft. Very nice guys but very poor workmanship. They didn't even bring the tools they needed and I ended up running out to Home Depot for them. The 3 pictures I posted show the worst of it but there were issues with the decking all over the place, most of which was eventually corrected after at least 3 return visits. The pictures I posted show the current state of the decking, months after the fact. I will likely go back to the Delray building department to see if they can offer some assistance on this.
