I recently renewed my membership on the 26th, but when I went through the member lane the other day, the screen said my form of payment had declined. I assumed the renewal hadn't gone through, so I signed up again. I later realized I was charged twice and am now paying for two memberships. I'm not sure if this issue is related to the license plate scanner or how my information was entered by an employee, but it's frustrating to run into this kind of problem after everything had been working smoothly.
