Dev's Donuts is my new favorite place! I went in this morning to get 3 dozen doughnuts for my staff. Not wanting to decimate their inventory, I asked if they could accommodate. I used to be a regular every Sunday morning for the doughnuts, back when it was dev and her little girl running the place. They were some of the best doughnuts you could get in town l, sadly that's not the case anymore. I don't know what happen if it was sold or just a management change. Dev's Donuts really satisfied my cravings this morning! Freshly made donuts with hot coffee. I got a blueberry cake that was really soft and light on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The chocolate dipped old fashioned was very good too. I wanted a french cruller but the owner said she dis not have the correct attachment to make them yet. I will go back to see what they will taste like when she gets one. Should be as good as tge other doughnuts. Nice to talj to the friendly owner. Steady stream of regular morning customers. I want to start off by saying I love donuts. I will usually pick a donut for a sweet choice if available every time. Also, I reserve having them as a treat instead of the norm. I went to Dev's Donuts this morning for the first time after reading the reviews to give it a try. Unfortunately, in our area good donuts are scarce. Krispy Kreme is near by but that's a be in the mood for kind of donut. Henri's (still my favorite in Atlanta) is not to far, but I like trying new places in case I'm missing that one incredible find. This place is not it. We purchased a half dozen assortment and donut holes. I always get a plain glazed to taste the true flavor of the dough...this one was soft but hardly any flavor. The apple fritter was tough and hardly any apples just a lot of cinnamon. There was a sour cream old fashioned and a buttermilk old fashioned...the buttermilk was the only one with any flavor and the reason for the two stars instead of one. The main flavor in these was the oil it was old...needed to be changed. The custard filled barely had any custard and what was there tasted like instant pudding NOT custard. The strawberry filled was strawberry goo like the gunk they put in those instant no make no effort strawberry pies. I guess this trip was a bust...on to the next one. read more

Everyone in GA always talks Krispy Cream or Dun kin but in no way are they like the donuts in California. They had the Old Fashions I liked but only brought two for health reasons. Move over Krispy Kreme...Dev's Donuts is taking over! I have been hearing about this place for the past couple of months, so when my stomach started growling this morning I decided to stop in. Dev's donuts is located in the plaza next to the publix shopping center at Macland and Powder Springs Rd. There is plenty of parking available. Dev's is pretty small, but it looked impeccably clean and cheery. Most traditional types of donuts are available with a dozen of traditional glazed priced at $7.50. The owners are really cute and you can tell that they take the time to get to know their customers and they even threw in a complimentary rainbow chocolate donut for me to enjoy. I did manage to make it out to my car before opening the box to taste one, and then I ate two more when I got home. Yep, they were that delicious! After reading the reviews I had to try this place. Boy am I glad I did. Dev's Donuts are dabomb.com. OMG I had to say it. The staff is extremely friendly even on a dark and stormy morning. The line was about 20 deep at 7am. I ordered 2 dozen which included; maple bacon, lemon filled, boston cream, strawberry glazed, vanilla crème, chocolate glazed and apple fritters. Everyone in my office was raving over the taste! They were so light and fluffy and the glaze to donut ratio was perfect. The free donut holes were also a nice surprise. A mixed dozen is only $7.50. The lady behind the counter suggested that I try the sausage stuffed croissant. Sadly I only got two and I shared! What was I thinking? This is my new go to morning breakfast spot. Donuts are fluffy and light. Fritters are also excellent; they have crispy outer shell and moist inside. I have tried majority of the flavors and enjoy them all, however, don't really care for the sour cream. To me, this is how donuts should taste. Donut flavors are great. I go very frequently. Something has changed the last couple of months. For a couple of years this was our favorite place to go. We love this place - people and food. The owners were great people and very generous and kind. The food was fantastic, even later in the morning. The last couple of times the food tastes different and the quality is much lower. It's just not the same as before. My wife claims that it's a different group of people than before. We'll probably give it another try just to make sure it wasn't a bad day or two, but something is definitely not the same. read more

Excellent donuts at fair prices. The creme filling and jelly filling were not overly sugared. They fill the eclairs to order (at least on Sunday) so it is always fresh. Ok first let me start by saying, I am not a huge fan of donuts in general so for me to give 5 stars that is saying a lot. We have passed by this place a few times and the family was finally able to convince me this morning to try Dev's. First thing I had them do is check the health score...99 so ordering began! We got a variety of donuts, an apple fritter and donut holes were added to the box. I tried the Boston creme first, and wow it was delicious! 10x's better then the chain shops around here. Our reaction was pretty much the same for the entire box, everything tasted fresh! Myself and the kids were very satisfied and what made me even happier were the prices!
