To say that I was confused in looking at this business listing is an understatement. In reading further, I learned that there are different facets to this business so my review only pertains to the orchard or farming part of this. I've been buying their apples for many years at the Ferry Farmers' Market in San Francisco on Tuesdays and Saturdays; due to the business climate in SF, they are only here at the Saturday market. They mainly sell flowers and apples with the latter being my main shopping item here. The most impressive thing about their apples is the variety that they sell throughout the season, offering anywhere from six to eight different ones at a time. I was buying their Hawaiian apples (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=NIBPXP0nifIFVt2_VyJ2Aw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) for a few weeks but the season is over for that type and the Fuji apples have just started. Don't hesitate to ask Stan or his staff about the aspects of each apple type to find the one(s) that best fit your palate. I am mentioning those two because they are my favorite as well as my goddaughter (pug). Come to this stand if you're looking for a wide variety of apples and don't hesitate to ask for suggestions in picking the one that fits your flavor profile. You won't be disappointed. We had our wedding at our home and many of our family and friends helped with special details to make it our own unique event. This included doing all of our own flowers and I was so excited when a friend recommend Devoto Gardens right up the road from us. They invited us to look at all of the flowers that come in from their own farm and gardens and we picked out lots of bunches of colorful, fresh cut flowers (can't even remember all the names of what we picked). I also have to give a special thanks to Jolie who does wedding arrangements and bouquets for Devoto. She was very, very busy and yet took the time to make me an incredible bouquet for my wedding. I gave her very little direction (I knew it was going to be great) and she created a bridal bouquet more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed of! It was an incredible act of kindness! Jolie was completely wonderful to work with. I contacted her about providing bouquets and boutonnieres for my upcoming wedding. She instantly got what I was going for [no easy feat given I know absolutely zip about flowers], answered every question I had and came through with every last minute request. When she delivered the bouquets I was blown away by how gorgeous they were. We were also able to buy bunches of flowers directly from her farm a few days before the wedding, which really made the decorations look great. I'm so glad I found Devoto Gardens to do my wedding flower arrangements!! From the moment my husband and I met with Jolie at her home, she was genuinely kind and helpful. I knew I wanted a more "seaside wildflower" look and not the tight, brightly-colored, fake-looking arrangements you might find from a standard florist. Jolie listened to my ideas intently and basically took my vision and made it happen! She is very knowledgable on the different types of flower names and what would be in season, and she drew out a budget that was very reasonable for us. Jolie made beautiful, creative bouquets for me and my bridesmaids, boutonnieres, corsages, table arrangements and large vases for the altar at the church. Knowing our flowers were grown and cared for locally added a special touch to our wedding, and I felt good knowing we were supporting a family farm. My husband and I were married at St. Teresa in Bodega and had our reception at Sonoma Coast Villa nearby. Jolie arrived promptly on the morning of the wedding to set everything up and had all the arrangements pre-made. I cannot tell you how much I loved the flowers. In a nutshell, Jolie is a dream to work with. She's easy-going & super-creative, which is a fortunate combination. I had a pretty clear vision of my *vintage country chic* wedding, she listened to my ideas & executed on all accounts. I first found these guys at the Ferry Building farmer's market, and in a perfect twist of fate, their flower farm is less than 10 minutes away from my parents' house, which made me even happier to use them for my wedding. I had a lovely visit about a week before to check out what was in bloom, picked out the types I liked best, and was rewarded the day before the wedding with buckets of gorgeous wildflowers, already in bunches. All we had to do was cut off the bottoms and put them in jam jars (this was at my request--Devoto will of course deliver table-ready bouquets as well, but we wanted to arrange them ourselves).
