A real disappointment, lots of money with no results. 2.0…read morestars Posted by anonymous September 17, 2026 My case has been going on for a year with zero results and tens of thousands of dollars in debt. He doesn't read emails. He does respond to text messages and says he will get you answers but never does. He has been a huge disappointment and does not seem to care about what I am dealing with. I've told him I need better communication from him but it doesn't help. The only thing his firm is prompt about is sending invoices. I could never in good conscience recommend him to anyone. The only reason I have not yet changed attorneys is because of the money I have invested so far. I'm at the end of my rope and if things don't improve very soon I will seek a new attorney. If it comes to that I will do a lot more research before choosing someone.it would be nice if I could find an attorney who cares about me and my situation and is willing to provide a free consultation. If there are any attorneys out there I'd like to know.

We had a very positive experience working with Mehta & McConnell! I was in a serious car accident…read morein January that resulted in a total loss of my vehicle, as well as a few broken bones and whiplash injuries, and we were referred to M&M by a trusted friend. The firm is small, which means you actually get face time with your lawyer (in our case, Viral Mehta), which I have heard is rare these days, and it is located in SouthEnd. Our paralegal, Mia, also frequently updated us via text and phone calls throughout the process. While it did take longer than we had expected to receive the settlement (about 11 months total), everything worked out well in the end, and Mia and Viral were very communicative, supportive partners throughout the entire process. We were very pleased with our decision to work with this firm and highly recommend their services. Thank you, Mehta & McConnell team!

Unfortunately, that's not what I received. While the attorneys knew all the right things to say, talk alone isn't enough. In this case, talk was very expensive, and actions simply didn't align with the promises. Trial preparation felt rushed and incomplete, despite having more than adequate time. The lack of assertiveness and execution was especially disappointing given the nature and importance of the case. If you're looking for a law firm that will truly advocate for you with preparation, follow-through, and action--not just words--I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
