I would really like to give a negative rating to this scam dental practice. I went for Lumineers…read more Zadik looked in my mouth and said he could see decay under 3 large silver fillings and first needed to remove those fillings and redo them with white composite @$1775 per tooth. No professional including my son who's a pediatric dentist had ever told me there was decay under these fillings. Zadik also forgot to mention that replacing the silver fillings required caps for an additional $2500 each. I'm just writing this now because I saw my regular dentist in Florida yesterday who did a complete exam with a full set of x rays. He assured me there is no decay in my mouth. So I wouldn't even refer to Zadik as Dr. This man should be in jail for attempted robbery. This makes my son really angry because this kind of practitioner gives the profession a black eye. I wonder how many of the people who gave this guy high marks had unnecessary expensive painful procedures that were fabricated.

A rare occurrence in health care these days! He continues to attend new technology seminars, and applies them to his practice, which allow his patients to reap the benefits of cutting edge approaches in dentistry... which I have greatly benefited from! NEVER pushy, Dr. Zadik always gives the patient the knowledge they need to make their own choices on what their dental care should be. Definitely give him a try. You'll be glad you did!

I have been a patient of Dr. Cecilia Acosta Lake for about six years and I have recommended her to…read moreall of my family and friends. I always feared going to the dentist until I met Dr. Acosta and her staff, which make going to the dentists - believe it or not - a good experience. Here's why I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking treatment for everything from your basic dental needs, to more complex medical and cosmetic procedures including Invisalign (all of which I have been treated for by Dr. Acosta): 1) Her dental equipment and facilities are up to date and always sparkling clean inspiring confidence in patients. Her waiting room is calming, and pleasant. When you walk in you feel right away that she is an experienced professional (it could be her big NYU dental school diplomas too), and the bright, airy waiting room with good music playing (usually it's Adele on Pandora) and tons of magazines feels more spa-like then dentist office reducing the usual anxiety I used to feel when getting my teeth checked out. 2) The staff's "bedside manner" is great. I've never had a dentist and staff so tapped into to the moment I feel discomfort or just plain need a little extra suction. No doubt that she genuinely cares about her patients health and wellbeing. She's supremely sensitive to patients and always takes the time to adjust or tell you a good distracting story. I've had many dentists who basically treat me like I'm a car unaware that their tool is jabbing me in the throat or that they're bored to death. Dr. Acosta reads the moments well - and I feel like I've gotten to know her on a personal level. I once had a 3 hour procedure and she regaled me with the story of her amazing life (from immigrant who worked her way though dental school, to sophisticated, cool woman with great tips on local restaurants and stories about her travels to Pakistan, Ecuador, and Dubai). 3) She is always updating her skills and loves her profession. Dr. Acosta oversaw my Invisalign treatment from start to finish. She studied my case extensively and took the time before I even began to develop a long term plan to make sure that my teeth would get straight - and stay straight. I had a difficult case with crowded teeth and a pretty big overbite. She consulted her colleagues, took more classes in Invisalign training (even though she's already certified) and always worked around my busy schedule. She was excited to take on a challenging case and just as thrilled with the outcome as I am. I am happy with the results which are not only aesthetically pleasing, but allow me to floss with ease and smile with confidence. 4) She has the best hours and works out fair payment plans. I've needed to see her late at night and on weekends. She's very accomodating to her diverse patients. This town is socio-economically and ethnically diverse and she works with everyone figuring out what payment schedules fit. In conclusion - she is a highly skilled dentists with an enthusiasm for her profession and a pleasant staff, of friendly smart assistants. I highly recommend. Dr. Acosta.

I found Dr. Acosta and she has been nothing but kind and patient with me, especially because I have a mild anxiety about going to the dentist. She even takes the time to explain the processes to me in great detail, and all of her procedures on me have been painless and without any complications. She has become a friend because she is so lovely, along with the great and helpful dental assistants that work along side her. I will recommend her to friends and family for the future. Thanks girl!

Their approach is as-advertised- gentle. They take breaks, check in to make sure we're comfortable during procedures, etc.- they are dedicated to their patients. More so, they establish a great rapport so it's always nice to catch up with them before and after the appointment itself. I'm sure if you visit you'll also happily become a routine patient of theirs.

I scheduled an appointment expecting to receive an exam, X-rays, and a routine cleaning. I received the exam, X-rays, and an Invisalign consultation. After the dentist completed the exam, she recommended a deep cleaning, fillings, and an extraction. Instead of moving forward with a cleaning, I was taken to speak with the financial coordinator, who reviewed the proposed treatment plan and costs. The deep cleaning would have cost over $1,000, with my portion being $477 after insurance. I was comfortable discussing the fillings, but I declined the extraction because it has never caused me any problems, and previous dentists have told me it could be monitored if it remained symptom-free. I explained that I was not ready to proceed with the deep cleaning and politely asked if I could receive a regular cleaning instead. I was told that I could not and that I should find another dental practice. That response was disappointing and felt unprofessional. What frustrated me most was that the deep cleaning was presented as a recommendation, yet I felt I had no choice if I wanted any cleaning at all. At every other dental office I've visited, when a deep cleaning was recommended and I declined, I was still given the option of a regular cleaning after discussing the risks and benefits. This was the first time I have ever been refused a cleaning altogether. I understand that treatment recommendations are important and that practices need to discuss available options. However, I also believe patients should be able to ask questions, decline recommended treatment, and still be treated respectfully. I left feeling like my concerns and preferences were not taken into consideration. To make matters more frustrating, my insurance benefits were used for the exam and X-rays, and I now have to schedule another appointment with my previous dentist to receive the cleaning I originally came in for. Overall, I left feeling disappointed by the experience. While the hygienist provided excellent care, the way my treatment options were handled and the lack of flexibility in discussing alternatives left me with a negative impression of the practice.

The woman named Yuma, who is a mornon when it comes to scheduling as she made my apt on Martin Luther King holiday initially, starts badgering me so I told her to Please leave my treatment room. She kept babbling so I tried my best to ignore her. She leaves the treatment room and comes back in telling me that I have to leave.
