The outside deck upstairs was open, so we could enjoy the view of Hamilton Harbour. We had drinks, and shared a pesto flatbread, fish chowder, and poke bowl. The flatbread was very good, the chowder was OK, and the poke bowl was also good (although the rice was definitely not Japanese but likely instant). Decent drinks menu with good selection of booze, wine and beer. Service was attentive and friendly. Water and cocktails were served in Gosling's 'rum barrel' glasses, which the bar was selling for $10 each. Turns out that the Gosling's outlet down the street sells them for $9, but had none in stock, so I was glad we bought them when we did.

The bartender told us that we could not order because the chef was not there and the kitchen was closed for another hour. Fifteen minutes later another table was served edamame and other patron was served sushi. When we asked the bartender why we could not order but others can, he said it was from another restaurant. Sorry, since we saw it brought from the kitchen that cannot be the case. Port O Call discriminates.

The waiter was a tad bit aggressive with his service in the beginning then got pretty quiet just dropping things onto the table and then disappeared when we wanted our bill. Don't know if he was annoyed I didn't order a drink with dinner or that I didn't order more food, but I looked past that since I was excited to finally get a good meal. I ordered the Bermuda fish chowder which I have been wanting to try since in Bermuda. It wasn't what I was expecting as far as presentation - I pictured while pieces of seafood in my mind, but instead it was grounded together kinda like a meat sauce made from fish. I added lemon which made it more flavorful. It was good. (Forgot to take a photo) My friend ordered the salmon which she said was good. It looked good from what I saw. I wasn't too hungry so I just ordered the soup. We ordered the cheesecake which was so so good. It was better than some of the cheesecake I've gotten in nyc.

This is my favorite Fish Sandwich I had during my whole trip. The fried fish was super fresh and light, the coleslaw and tartar sauce added some freshness and creaminess to the sandwich, and the raisin bread was soft and somehow the sweetness of it worked so well. It's massive so I highly recommend getting only one to share among 2 people. We washed it down with some Barritt's Ginger Beer which was delicious, sweet, and found all throughout the island. Definitely add this to your Bermuda itinerary! Cash only.

Since this time, time and time again, I have hoped upon hope that they would at least use imported wahoo or something of higher quality (if they are unable to secure local fish).
