The Terrace on Front Street - Fried cheese balls

We ate here two days in a row, so that should say something Definitely some of the best food we've…read morehad so far. My go-to around the island has been the fish sandwich. The menu here says mahi, but mine was actually made with the catch of the day. Either way, it was a great sandwich. We also tried a couple appetizers. The cheese balls were really good, and I got the fish and fries as more of a snack/appetizer and enjoyed that too. For fish sandwiches, Ola Cafe at Crystal Cove is still #1 on the island for me, hands down, but this is a very close second. For fried fish, Deja View had the best I've had so far with their fried snapper. Funny enough, my favorite fish sandwich also had snapper, but they had other fish options available too.

From the moment we stepped in the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful- Daily Special- We tried the Burris Egg Rolls and Bermuda Triangle- Both were amazing - So good we forgot to get pictures- Bermuda Triangle has Pan Seared Red Hind- scallops shrimp mashed potatoes and steamed veggies with lemon Butter sauce- Hands down the perfect meal here on Bermuda!!!!! You will not be disappointed!! Since we stopped for lunch we opted for mock tails that were beautiful and full of fruit and herbs!!!

Pricey...but worth the experience and eating in the coast line is just simply on another level. Beautiful waterfront setting, the kind of place that makes you quickly forget how long you've been there. Overall great food, great service, great views and good vibes!

We've been here before for vacations, but haven't stayed in St George's. This time we wanted to concentrate on activities and restaurants at this end of the island and Wahoo's was high on our list. It's a perfect way to launch our vacation. Bermuda fish stew is the best, so of course we started with that and two dark and stormys. Important to the enjoyment of the stew is the sherry peppers sauce. My gosh that stuff is good. I want to buy some to take home. I could just eat the stew and be satisfied. For entrees I got the fried fish sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato on raisin bread toasted. You have to get the tartar sauce to complete it. It was good but the piece of fish was too small for the amount of bread. My husband got rockfish pan fried with beans and rice and Cole slaw. All of his meal was good but the beans and rice were my favorite. My fish sandwich came with fries and I wish I had substituted the beans and rice. Wahoo's is a great spot and it's popular. There was a cruise ship docked at the Dockyards, so there were a ton of cruise ship tourists out and about. Wahoo's had a crowd! We watched one table of four come and sit down, look at the menu and then leave. Food is expensive in Bermuda and I think they got a bit of sticker shock from the prices. For me it's worth it.

Our tour guide recommended this restaurant and dropped us off before heading back to our ship…read more To start, we were fortunate to have a wonderful server. I apologize for forgetting his name, but he mentioned that he had recently moved to Bermuda and was planning to make it his permanent home. Despite how busy he was, he took excellent care of us and made an effort to strike up a conversation about our travels. His friendly and welcoming attitude definitely added to our experience. As for the food, the fish chowder was unique and very good. The fish sandwich was the main reason we wanted to visit, and it was a fun experience trying it. The fish was flaky and nicely fried. I was pleasantly surprised that the raisin bread wasn't sweet, which paired nicely with the sandwich. We sat in the back, where we enjoyed lovely views of the harbor. There was also a live singer performing soft music, which added a relaxing touch to the atmosphere.

I don't go that far, but it was a bit unique fish sandwich. It's done in raisin bread for starters. Then, their tarter type sauce was a different good. Not like tartar sauce at all per se...but was a nice edition. The fish in the sandwich....dorm recall the type....but it was fresh as fresh could be. Grilled and I would've liked it cooked more...but a very mild fresh taste. Now, was the service good? Uhm...not exactly. lol. But do I expect other countries to have service like the US; no. So, I take it all with a grain of salt...and appreciate the old old storied place.

As suggested in other reviews we had the Cheesecake. We have 3 words, OMG!!! Absolutely the fluffiest Cheesecake either of us have ever had! The waiter was a tad bit aggressive with his service in the beginning then got pretty quiet just dropping things onto the table and then disappeared when we wanted our bill. Don't know if he was annoyed I didn't order a drink with dinner or that I didn't order more food, but I looked past that since I was excited to finally get a good meal. I ordered the Bermuda fish chowder which I have been wanting to try since in Bermuda. It wasn't what I was expecting as far as presentation - I pictured while pieces of seafood in my mind, but instead it was grounded together kinda like a meat sauce made from fish. I added lemon which made it more flavorful. It was good. (Forgot to take a photo) My friend ordered the salmon which she said was good. It looked good from what I saw. I wasn't too hungry so I just ordered the soup. We ordered the cheesecake which was so so good. It was better than some of the cheesecake I've gotten in nyc.
