I don't know who needs to read this but they have a changing table in the restroom and toiletries. They are also dog friendly!!!! The beer is good too! Very chill

    Beer anyone?

This place is interesting....super small bar but huge space inside. Good beer selection...I'm a sucker for Independent Breweries. Very open layout inside to host a big party or great game day! Plenty of games inside, old style arcade machines......yup they had PacMan!!! And best of all NO coins to operate. Well now that my kid inner self is out lets talk about the beers...after all this is a beer review not a game review. Order: El Monasterio San Galvez - Belgium Strong. Nice subtle taste not as strong as advertised. Would have drank quite a few, but I had to drive. Chinook Smash - Pale Ale. Fruity, refreshing taste. I would drink this every day!! Next time I'm bringing back a growler most likely of the Chinook Smash. That's quite strange for a guy that loves dark beers. Anyhow come check it out!!! While you're having a cold one - play a game or two....

Love this place in Galveston, great beer quality and variety for a one-man shop. Eric the owner is awesome and there is a great vibe in the brewery. Our kids love the video games and there is shuffle board and baggo, an easy way to spend an afternoon over some great brews. Highly recommend!

Fantastic staff and delicious brews. Enjoyed talking to Danny and will be coming back.

Delicious beers! Lots of games and distractions to entertain. Close to downtown and near other stops. Highly recommend.

Great little place in Galveston, many beer options and real wood fired pizza. Delicious Off the beaten path which is a bonus!! A great place to watch the games.

Bold in flavor. Balanced in taste.

Dog friendly venue. Wide variety of beers. Lots of room for activities. What more could you ask for?

I had marked this as a place I had wanted to stop at on vacation and the fact that you could order food from across the street at Coastal Grill and have it walked over sealed the deal for us. The inside of the beer garden consisted of a number of picnic tables and high-top chairs with several TVs mounted on the walls. There was also a playhouse with toys that kept my twins entertained the whole time we were there. I also liked that they had hot dogs, nachos, and chili with cheese available for tips only, which was a nice touch. On this evening I decided to go with the Checkered Past WCIPA while my wife went with the Don't Be a Karen tangerine hard seltzer. The guys working were friendly, and we quickly had our drinks in hand and found a spot to sit. My Checkered Past had a solid beer flavor through the middle with the bitterness coming on the finish. It was a nice sipper with notes of pine. My wife's seltzer had tangerine flavor from start to finish with a good tartness throughout. My son and daughter both had one of the hot dogs from the snack area, and I have to admit they were really good hot dogs. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I'm a little sad I only got to try one of their beers, but I was happy with what we had and liked the relaxed, family-friendly setup.

The spot has real charm. Not the manufactured kind that gets focus-grouped into a brewery template. It feels lived-in and warm, and we got greeted like regulars from the minute we walked in. We had our minds made up on drinks until the bartender offered us samples of a few signature pours. That changed our order entirely. Both of us ended up with something we wouldn't have picked on our own, and both were better than what we'd planned to get. Food was great. Service was sharper than I expected for a brewery. Everyone we interacted with felt like they actually wanted us there. If you're passing through Galveston, stop in. Easiest recommendation I've made in a while.

Found this little gem of a place that has a pretty cool vibe. Very tap house feel at the bar, but with some lounge-type seating as well as bar top ,larger party tables and the standard two and four person tables. Just a note, tea is free here so help yourself! There is construction next door which doesn't look like it is affecting this place at all. Prices are what you might expect of a craft place, perhaps a little on the higher side but with the caveat they are probably in the high rent district. We tried the shrimp basket and al though the service was fantastic and helpful and the place was nice, this particular meal did not stand out as one that would make me want to rush back. It was somewhat bland/underseasoned save for the large chunks of pepper. The cocktail sauce was certainly different which I do like, but it had a Smokey barbecue flavor to it that just didn't pair well for us. Fries were a tad bit soft for our liking as well and also slightly under-seasoned. They had live music there which adds to the charm of the place I think (it was solo guitarist/vocalist) and it did just seem to work on this night after a fun parade it was a great place to get a meal and lounge around with some music and drinks. Fixable food items so giving the place a decent rating but think there's room for improvement.

It's an easy place for all kinds of gatherings, especially ones with big groups and a thirsty penchant for beer. In a place like Webster where chains rule and suburban life is abundant, Saloon Door stands out as an excellent local option. It may not look like much from the outside and even the interior is minimal, but that somehow doesn't matter when groups of people are enjoying their brews together. They host all sorts of events and also allow for private use of dare venue space. Any first timer should absolutely indulge in a beer flight with some kind. The brewmasters are kind enough to let folks sample to their heart's content. Not everybody is beer savvy (#1) but they do a good job of recommending the right ones for any given palate. I appreciate their selection of stouts, ales, light brews, and IPAs. I have a fondness for their peanut butter milk stout, as well as dar dildo pickle gose. The tasty AF is also a good one, as is the lava imperial hot rock beer. The ladder has an ABV of 11%, so it is the most potent one in their lineup that I know of. Most breweries like this aren't always known for food, but there are some nice deals to be had here. Their taco Tuesday nights are popular since board games and happy hour beers are apparently a thing. The Friday deal for $15 inlcudes a burger, fries, and a beer would is very affordable in these times. Thursday nights they activate their projection screen and do a " a retro video game" night with plenty of multiplayer and beer specials. I always look forward to coming here. It was one of the first on this side of town before everyone and their mom started opening up breweries. The difference is, it has stood the test of time and is still going strong. This location is located in an industrial park close to I-45. There is plenty of parking. It anchors that particular section and is quite large inside. There is plenty of seating and they also have space available for private events. The staff here know their product and offer great advise on what to pick if you are indecisive like me. They have quite a respectable assortment of beers to choose from. They have light beers, malty beers, stouts, IPAs, and seasonal beers. I would suggest a flight if you want to try a few different things. I am not a big IPA guy, but Saloon Door has some that are pretty tasty. My favorites here at their stouts. They are heavy, but easy to sip on. Their stouts have flavor profiles that I love. My all time favorite Saloon Door beer is the Tasty AF. It is a peanut butter and chocolate milk stout. How can you go wrong with that flavor combination. It's like drinking a dessert. Some breweries name their beers with flavors but don't deliver on said flavor. Here, their beers are true to their names. Don't sleep on their other offering though! As far as food, they have rotating food trucks that you can order from. This location was my introduction to Saloon Door, but they did open their second location closer to my home. I would still without a doubt come back to this location if in the area though!
