I stopped threading about 2 years ago and just sorta tried to pluck the stray hairs and keep them neat. But about 6 months ago, I decided to stop plucking and let everything grow back and start over. I wanted to find someone who would understand that I wanted shape, but to also keep the fullness and I came across Pooza. She was so wonderful! I requested an appointment through Yelp and she responded very quickly. When I sat down in the chair, I showed her an old photo from about 3 years ago when my eyebrows were shaped, but thinner. I wanted to try and do the same shape, but try and keep the ends more full. She listened to my request and said she would go slow to make sure I was happy with the shape. Pooza was very professional and took her time to make sure my eyebrows looked amazing! She stopped several times to allow me to look in the mirror and explain what she wanted to do before she would continue. She took her time and I didn't feel rushed, even when another person walked in and sat down to wait their turn. She didn't trim too many hairs and wanted to keep my brows long and full. Eyebrow tech was very friendly and social asking me about my holiday plans. She threaded one brow first and then asked me to take a look. I confirmed it was okay, then she did the other. I am satisfied with my brow shape and would return if I am in this area again. Unfortunately I live an hour away and was here for an office visit in the area. The same stylist for my family member, gave her nearly the exact same thing -- weird streaky highlights. The colorist was tasked with summer blonde highlights and couldn't do it. She's obviously only trained in one thing, her specialty of warm bronde streaks. Moving onto the hair washers, who aren't properly trained, or maybe are in training? They have zero personal skills and have no idea what they're doing either. I was in the same sink chair for an hour and a half, getting a toner, deep conditioning.... It went on and on. I had to ask to go back to the colorist station as it was taking so long. I was there for 5 hours -- this is without a blowout or hair cut.
