I got my teeth done from Dr. Duke. Implants and crowns to create new teeth and a beautiful new smile. This is not what I got the teeth. I have have such an overbite. The teeth are ugly. My smile is no longer. If you look on my Facebook, I haven't smiled in over a year because I hate my teeth Now, after not liking my teeth, I have a loose implant after a year and two months I called Dr. Duke and he said it happens I paid $30,000 for my teeth and he says it happens I do not recommend this doctor for your teeth You will not be satisfied I now have to go to a different dentist have my tooth removed my bone fixed and then another tooth installed in about six months Again, I do not recommend Dr. Duke read more

No service but charged plenty. I'm a snowbird staying in Tecopa and have an abscessed tooth. Hard to find anyone with openings in Pahrump so I was really glad when I called, told them I had an abscessed tooth and needed it removed and some sort of temp tooth (front tooth) flipper or? So I set recent x-rays and was so glad they were able to get me in. But after I got there today the first thing Deuk asked me was. "What do you want me to do?" I repeated what I had told the receptionist when I made the appointment. He told me they don't make flippers, all he could do was replace it with an implant. I have to save up for that and not go to be running around with a big gap in my mouth. So he said "I can't help you." No kidding, that's about as long as I was there. Could've had this conversation over the phone before I drive an hour to get there. To add insult to injury I was charged $160 for an exam and he didn't even examine me. First off if I could I would give them a negative review. My husband and I started going to Dr. Deuk 10 and a half years ago, after moving here. We had always had good luck with him. We mainly went for cleanings. A couple of months ago I went in for a cleaning. X-rays were taken. Dr. Deuk said that I had a receding gum line and two loose teeth. This is something I already knew since he had told that to me in the past. He wrote out a referral and sent me to a periodontist in Vegas. When we get to the appointment I pay $175 up front and give them the referral. I am taken in the back where x-rays are taken and my teeth are looked at. The technician reads the referral and says she can only make out part of what is written. When the periodontist comes in she looks at my teeth without seeing the referral. I am then shuffled off to another room and not 2 minutes later told by the woman there that I have bad bacteria under my gum line and need $10,000 worth of surgery on one side and almost $9,000 worth of surgery on the other side. As we were leaving there were 2 more of Dr. Deuk's patients in the waiting room. When I got home I called Dr. Deuk's office to tell them what happened and told them I thought this was a money making scam. Their reply was, no it was just a referral. I am at a loss for words. I really am. I use yelp quite a bit because people need to know the good and the bad of a place you plan on.visiting. I saw Dr D weeks ago. I had no problems other than my teeth hurt and they were cutting my mouth up. However I was greatful for the appointment. I did not hear a word back from them. I was give an appointment for today the 20th however I overslept. I called the instant I woke up. 0905. My appointment was at 0900. Mind you I have called this dentist practically begging for anything to make the pain go away. Nothing. Anyway. I was give another appointment the 29 of this month. 9 day's away. Remember I am in severe pain. So I called up to office to ask if my insurance had owed my dental work. Chris the receptionist told me that they would do the work and submit it to the insurance company. I then asked if there was anyway I could get a sooner appointment. 9 more days of living on over the counter pain pills is killing my stomach. She responded... you shouldn't have missed your appointment... she then made other statements... if it was that bad you would not have missed your appointment... on and on. I was shaking when I ended the call. I decided to go up to the office and talk to the Dr. My mouth is in pain. I was hoping I could be seen sooner.... and this woman Chris... was just soooo rude and unprofessional... however... when the dentist came out to talk to me he told me to find another dentist. That's it. Just like that. So. I think I will find another dentist. However I think it's very important that others know who and what they are dealing with. I have to say something. No matter what Chris said or did.. She did not deserve to be treated the way she was ...by me. I apologize for being an ass. I do hope if you ever read this.. That you forgive me. read more

Originally I felt comfortable with this dentist and office staff. Then the run around began. Josh lied to me on numerous occasions, stating they were waiting for approval from my insurance company. That went on for a few months. However they immediately billed my insurance for x-rays and office visit. They were paid and Josh continued to lie about coverage. I figured out why they were doing this. During my initial visit I told both Josh and Dr. Deuk there was no way I was going to pay $50000.00 for implants. The Dr. Is not current on the risks of dental xrays. Current recommendations are xrays every 3-5 years. Dr. Deuk requires xrays annually, and will not make exceptions regardless of the patient's request. Also, against the American Cancer assc, and even the American Denistry Assoc., Dr. deuk doesn't use a lead collar to protect the thyroid gland during dental xrays. I would highly recommend considing a different local dentist. read more

My husband and I saw Dr. Deuk this past week for an initial consultation and x-rays. We both were very satisfied with our time with Dr. Deuk and the suggestions he offered for dental work on both of us. Instead of high pressure to have extensive work, they offered reasonable rates for repair of our teeth. Everyone was extremely professional and polite. Dr. Deuk has a terrific chair side manner. He continually checked with me during the procedure to make sure I was doing okay. I had two root canals with very little pain. Great doctor with a great staff. I highly recommend him. read more

Unfortunately this is one of the worst dentists in Nevada! I went in Friday with an abscess tooth, after paying the ridiculous fee of $300, it took 5 minutes for Mr. Deuk to tell me I had an infection...no kidding bro! He then asked me what kind of antibiotics I'd like to have...I'm not a doctor, I don't know, that's why I just paid you $300. Instead of having any knowledge of dentistry, I receive a Z-Pack for antibiotics. Then next day my entire face was so swollen, I couldn't see. I saw a Real dentist in Vegas today who said whoever gave you a Z-Pack for a tooth infection should be removed from the dental field. It only makes things worse...and let me tell you, I was in more pain than I thought I'd ever be in for a minor toothache. I guess that's what I get for trusting ANYONE in Pahrump! They should rename the practice Deuce Dental, I'm dropping a Deuce today! read more

I originally thought Dr. Deuk was a great dentist, but I have been forced to update my review. I went to see him for a routine cleaning and at the end of my appointment, I was charged $87. Later, my insurance paid for the entire bill. When I requested a refund, Dr. Deuk's office staff told me to wait until my husband was seen. My husband paid his own bill. I have made repeated calls requesting my refund, and they have been ignored. Am I going to be forced to sue for $87? Disgusting! read more

Dr. Deuk is the best dentist I have worked with. Very detailed, knowlegable and professional. Takes time to explain every step of the procedure. Expert at pain control. Was able to successfully achieve two very difficult implants due to previous injury. Continues to improve his knowledge with education updates on latest procedures and practices. read more

Although they take your insurance, they find a way to get more money out of you in ways that are not needed. Their cleanings are ridiculous as they just barely only do a surface clean and charge an extra $102.00. read more
