frustrating that places can cancel appointments for being 5 minutes late, yet I've had to wait over an hour on all 3 visits. Looking back, I wish I had walked out the first time. The front desk staff doesn't even greet you when you arrive, or tell ypu about any delays and the waiting area is in poor condition - the floors and chairs are dirty. The reception area is also extremely dirty. Dental places should be clean! If you're desperate and this is your last option, I feel sorry for you. Additionally, be aware that you can't accompany a minor child back to the appointment area. They also completely ignored what I came in for. This was my first visit and although the staff was friendly, after I was seated in the dental chair and looked around I was beginning to think I may have made a mistake. The place definitely needs updating and needs to hire another cleaning agency. The dentist I saw was friendly but I can't help but wonder why he's allowed the uncleanliness. If I could see it, he most certainly could see it since he's there every day. Once my procedure is completed I probably won't be going back. read more

Had tooth extraction, was in severe pain before extraction, got appointment right away, staff friendly, well educated and trained, efficient, hardly no pain at all during procedure, great advice for follow up care, excellent service, respected my wishes to hold off on other teeth extractions until I am ready. When other dentists couldn't see me, American dental got me in for a visit in 2 days. I needed 2 extractions. I chose 2 separate days a week apart. The dentists and staff were awesome and incredibly affordable. Highly recommend them read more

The reception room subjects the waiting room to a young spanish girl singing and humming to hip hop, rap music loudly. She doesn't you with a smile nor a greeting. She was calling somewhere that had automated that'll kept saying it could not understand her due to the loud music amd she had to yell her answer. read more

Dr. Nguyen is a genius, he saved two of my teeth with successful root canals, fitted permanent crowns. Assistants and hygienists extremely courteous and professional. Office is a bit old, but clean. May have to wait a bit, but not bad. Only issue is sometimes the front desk personnel get busy with workload and forget to greet patients with a smile. Definitely my go to dentist. Scheduled an appointment at 3pm a week before the day with my referral from my orthodontist. When I arrived at 2:40 I waited in the lobby until 3:30 pm then I was called into the back and waited for another half hour. Two assistants came in and had no idea what I was there for and stated they needed to get the dentist. When the dentist finally came to help me he said I need to go to an ortho surgeon and sent me home. Not only was the procedure known about a week before, it was known while I waited on my only day off for 2 hours. read more

For insurance reasons I had to go here for a few years . The people who work there were always friendly , I never waited too long to get back in there , like some reviewers mention . I never cared for the Dr. here ~ mainly because I can not understand him . He lets his dental assistants do most stuff - which I wasn't always thrilled about . I had a tooth extracted here, the GOOD thing was the laughing gas , I always had extractions done under anesthesia in the past . The laughing gas made it tolerable ! While healing a piece of tooth came out of my gum... had to go back in and have them fix that - that wasn't so pleasant!!! Ugh .... I've since switched dentists, but my husband still goes here . If I could taste this place zero stars I would. One assistant was brushing her teeth In a sink customers use, the dentist is rude. Didn't property fill a tooth causing me to need a root canal at a new place. Dentist's tool broke in my mouth. His equipment is was out dated. Does not use computers. He told me you can overdose on lidocaine when I asked for another shot because he didn't property numb the tooth and I felt the drill. Horrible experience horrible place. The only exception was on of his assistants and his front help. I feel bad they have to work there. Please do not go here. Pay a little extra and go somewhere else it isn't worth it. read more

I was so happy to finally find a dentist who cares more about me than money! He did a great job and gave me a huge discount! My teeth were so bad because another dentist wanted thousands after my ins paid and I could not afford it. But not only was I able to afford it here I felt like a human not a number! waited over 45 mins for my appointment that was already scheduled. had a cleaning done it was awful. all they did was scrape the plaque off. then i was supposed to get my wisdom tooth removed because of pain they numbed my mouth completely and most parts of my lips. then i was literally two seconds away from getting laughing gas before he told my mother that no we can't get it pulled anymore i have to go to a surgeon which he could've told the assistant way before she numbed me and almost gave me laughing gas just was a whole entire nightmare. i was falling asleep in the waiting room waiting to be called. would not recommend! read more

I walked in to this dentist office with no appointment, and the worst pain I had ever been in my entire life. They got me in the same day, and the wait wasn't very long considering I was a walk-in. It was very difficult to get my mouth numb, but, he didn't give up and got it pulled out. I have other dental work that needs to be done, after telling me what needed to be done the office then got approval from my insurance to continue on repairing my broken teeth at a very reasonable price. They really should have a minus rating. Small office. Waited for over 40 minutes for scheduled appointment. Cleaning was awful. My mouth hurt for a month after and the pain that I had has now turned into another dental problem and more costly. Not going back. You get what you pay for. read more

I went there about 4 yrs. ago and like the other review I read everything was rushed. The dental assistant was really nice and explained the procedures to me. The dentist had a thick Asian accent and did not speak to me at all. I had 3 molars that were badly cracked and he fixed one by replacing the cracked filling when he should have pulled it as he told me it was too cracked for a root canal. The other one was too cracked as well but he put the crown on it anyway. If I knew more about dentistry I would have told him to just pull the teeth. I decided to go to another dentist for a second opinion. I was told that putting the crown on a tooth without a root canal is a waste of time as the root is still infected and the tooth will eventually die anyway. I was sent from that office to a periodontist in Las Vegas for the third bad tooth because the crack was so deep the dentist didn't have the special microscope to view it properly. At least they were honest about it. So to sum it up American Dental charged me a whole lot of money for useless procedures when they could have just pulled the teeth. Don't go to this place for more than a simple cleaning. read more
