I had windows cleaned, cleaning my garage and my front porch area. This is not the first time I have had Dixon out to help me with these projects. I have them because I know I will be happy with the results. Year after year I have had excellent results. The young men I have had come to do these projects have been to my house before. They make me feel comfortable and could be nicer and work every hard. I also use there cleaning of my home once a month. Very reliable good job. My carpet cleaning experience with Details & Dixon's Home Services was great. Easy to get a quote, book the appointment. Very reasonable pricing. I had an appointment in mid-September, 2025. The techs that performed the work were very professional, proficient, polite. Between both they had self-reported over 30+ years experience of cleaning carpet, and it showed. I had 5 rooms (working around bigger furniture pieces) and 15 stairs (1 flight plus 3). After the work, the tech gave me a vebal debrief of how/what they cleaned and if they noted any stains (there were 2 spots that came clean!). The carpet looked and felt very clean (had been 4 yrs since last cleaning). My approximate cost was a bit over $300 (incl tax and new customer discount). I've read reviews here on Yelp that are negative (about customer service, home cleaning service) but my experience was positive. read more

Details was a referral from a local as we just moved into the area. Ordered a move-in clean. While some areas were cleaned well, others were not. High shelves not dusted, stove top not cleaned, utility area was not cleaned well. I would have expected a more thorough job for the money I paid on what is essentially a blank slate (no furniture to dust or move around). They could have easily taken a Magic eraser to the walls, for example. I feel like the they were missing the 'details', no pun intended. read more

We've been very happy with details. If they miss something, there's a survey to complete after the cleaning and they follow up to correct the issue. The only thing our cleansers missed was some mold on our shower door. It hasn't been a problem since we brought it to their attention. I unfortunately discontinued this service due to upper management. I had an issue with my home after a cleaning our basement had standing water all over the floor after they left. I simply called not for anyone to get in trouble, not even for any money off of the service, but to simply let them know what happened and so it does not happen again. Unfortunately, I was met with sarcasm, disrespect and accusations from a woman name Leah the most disturbing thing is, she said I'm going to believe my workers because they know better than to lie to me. Unfortunately I had to discontinue my service again. As of the cleaners, but because of upper management and her unprofessionalism. I've used Details a number of times over the past few years, for a move-out cleaning, two or three times for window washing, and 4 years gutter cleaning. I was happy with the move-out and the window washing. The gutter cleaning was great first couple times, a crew came and was very professional. Then it devolved into a single guy with a ladder scooping the leaves out with his hands, not even using a blower, in and out in a hour or so. Piles of leaves left on my lawn below the gutter. This past spring, later in the month after the cleaning I noticed two of my gutters had dents from the ladder, one quite seriously dented and it was a new gutter! I sent an email with photos, and was called by a customer satisfaction rep. She told me since it had been more than a week, they couldn't do anything. Since somebody else could have come along with a ladder and dented my gutter with it, apparently. I was offered a $15 discount on my next gutter cleaning! Like I would pay to have my gutters damaged again and not even properly cleaned. They must have insurance to cover damages, but don't pay for damage they've done. I can't recommend their service for this reason. read more

The teams change occasionally, and I have had a chance to meet several of their team members as I am working from home at this time. Everyone I have met has been great. We used their services for around six months. Even after that amount of time there were new employees showing up and I had to keep explaining the areas to be cleaned. They were very rough on our house: slamming wood blinds back and forth while cleaning which marked up the woodwork; tearing up the corners of our walls with the vacuum cord (most walls had been recently painted so was easy to notice); constantly dropping stuff (am assuming floor cleaning tools) instead of setting down like most people do as to not mark up the wood floors. I was home when they cleaned and could not believe the amount of noise made. They would sit in their vehicle in our driveway for awhile afterwards. Am assuming the company vehicle has gps and could tell how long they were here. The final straw was when they stopped cleaning the master bath shower. We noticed that there appeared to be more and more of the orange mildew appearing, and it did not go away after they cleaned. I brought it to the offices attention and they said the cleaners ran out of time and that they do not typically bring the harsh cleaners that were needed to clean our hard water issues. First of all, they usually cleaned the bathrooms first so not sure how they would run out of time. Also, we have a water softener as well as city water that is softened. We were assured that they would bring the correct chemicals the next time and that a quality assurance person would stop by to make sure we were happy. They did make an effort to clean better but no quality person came by. That was the end of if for us. read more

We have used Detailed Cleaning Services for both our home and for a rental property. We have always been satisfied with the price and service for our home cleaning and would give them 4.5 out of 5 for the monthly home cleaning. We recently used them for a "deep cleaning" and carpet cleaning of our 1,600 square foot rental property. This is a higher end property and was in pretty good condition prior to the clean. After Detailed Cleaning finished the job we noticed the master bathroom counter top, toilet, floor, along with the hardwood floors on the main level were still dirty. I then had to clean those areas, which all of the dirt came off pretty easily with a magic eraser. Prior to receiving our bill, we contacted them with our comments, and they did nothing. Then when we received the bill for a total of $467.99 I called their office and again voiced my complaints. This time they offered to reduce the price to $434.99. I believed $434.99 is still way too much to pay for a less than quality cleaning and carpet cleaning job that only covers 1,600 square feet. We will not be using them again on any of our rental properties. We will however continue to use them for our monthly home cleaning service as they have done a much better job for us in this area. read more

We were in need of a move out cleaning for our townhome. We had contracted a different company who never showed up for our cleaning. Details Home Services was referred to us and we frantically called them with one day to spare until our walk-through with our landlord. Leah at Details moved around appointments and managed to get us scheduled at 8:00 am the next day. Judith and her son arrived promptly and did an incredible job of cleaning our cabinets, bathrooms, etc. Our landlord was very pleased and I credit Details with helping us get our security deposit back. We used Details for the past few years so decided to hire them to do a deep clean on our new home before moving in. We never had any major problems with them in our former home. When something wasn't cleaned to our satisfaction we provided feedback and it was taken care of the next time. Our deep cleaning experience was nothing like that. We hired them to do a 10-12 hour clean and to shampoo carpets and a stair/hallway runner. The previous owners had cats and dogs and we needed the hair removed. I was very clear about our needs and expectations via phone and in writing. After the cleaning we found a good amount of hair on and under the runner. Cabinets and windowsills had not been cleaned like agreed upon. We provided feedback and were given a one hour $35 credit. What an insult. They offered to have someone come out to do the work again. Why would we have them do that days later when we were living in the house, unpacking, and they didn't clean it the first time? We spent over $600 and the results were ridiculous. As we continued to unpack we found more and more places that were not even touched. This was the most frustrating experience with a cleaning service and we will never use them again. read more

We hired them to do the move out deep clean last week. 2 ladies came and worked 14 man hours. But many places were not cleaned well, like countertop, cabinets, insides drawers and closets. Scheduling was easy even on short notice and I recieved and incredibly detailed list of every service I would recieve so there was a clear expectation and no surprises. I used their deep clean service. They overcharged me almost by $150. They sent out only two people to clean my house but they charged me for three. After many times of my contacting the company they finally corrected the bill only after I told them I knew only two people came to clean. They broke the glass shelving. I understand we all make mistakes but when I made a reimbursement claim for replacing the glass, the company owner emailed me blaming me. Very unprofessional company especially at the top. We used them to do a deep clean of a rental duplex that was turning over. The Good: the cleaning was amazing. So amazing I really wish THE BAD didn't end up out-weighing the work they did because I really wanted them to be my new go-to for all of our cleaning needs. The Bad: I was given an estimate of 8-10 total man hours after a very detailed explanation of what I needed done, the space, etc. We ended up at 12 hours. I met the crew to start the clean and point out the details but then left them to finish. When I went back the next day I found a ceiling fan hanging by the wires and missing a blade. No one alerted me about this so we ended up scrambling to buy and replace that fan at the last minute before our new tenants were scheduled to move in. I promptly received my invoice and when I responded with the fan issue and a picture of it, ultimately I was told that the fans were a concern which had been discussed with me during that initial walk-through - which is absolutely not true. So, like another reviewer below, this ended up blamed on me. To be honest I wasn't even that upset about it given that the cleaning was THAT good. All I wanted was for Details to offer to cover the $65 we spent on a new fan. But instead it was turned around on me, no offer was made, and I'm still sitting with a $430 bill in my hands. You can go ahead and try to keep trashing me and placing my personal confidential contact information online and show to all of your customers and prospective customers on here how you handle unhappy customers. I will join with the other 4 1 star reviews on here with the other people that had a miserable experience with your customer service reps and management. I have never seen a company personally attack an unhappy customer. Most businesses that know anything about customer service first of all apologize for any perceived slight, offer a solution and don't try to intimidate their customers. Outrageous behavior. I hope everyone on here sees what you're all about. A negative review based on an actual experience is not considered cyberbullying, however, completely fabricating accusing a wronged customer about mistreating their employees to give yourself an excuse to treat a customer this way shows your character. I don't need to say anything else. I'm sure that customers can understand the type of person you are. Did I post to other review sites? Yep. I think it's important to let other people know so they don't experience the same type of behaviour that both myself and 4 other reviewers on here had. Prior to this company i haven't written any negative reviews on companies prior to this but I had such a bad experience with this company that I have to warn potential consumers.BE AWARE. This was the worst experience I have had with a company. They didn't do a good job cleaning! they left so many areas unattended like the window sills (which i specifically asked for), the light fixtures (which I asked for) and cabinets and other areas. They didn't wipe down the fridge or cabinets. They also had the WORST customer services. I was yelled at by a manager there, I was so disgusted by the behavior I had to hang up the phone. Never have I been talked to or treated in that manner. They said "$33/hr " but they creatively construct it to say "33/man hour" what's not fully indulged in my phone quote was that it was for each person that they send. I had three people come to my home for four hours and they charged me for 11.5 charging me $379.76 saying it was close to four hours for each person. Later it was revealed that they had emailed me this- yet failed to mention It on the phone- read fine print and make sure to ask questions- matter of fact you can get your house cleaned for way less and not deal with such unprofessional experience. I've had my home cleaned for less than$150 and it was a way better job than this. I would NEVER recommend this company! They also ask for your credit card prior i'm sure this maybe the reason behind them changing their names- to avoid such reviews! read more
