The employees are all intelligent, professional and well trained. I have taken several vehicles to them for oil changes and for VA state inspections. I completely trust them with my 2004 BMW M3 and my wife's 2005 BMW 530i and our FJ Cruiser. I also take my motorcycles there for inspections. They are always very careful and thoughtful about the work they perform. Their prices are fair and reasonable and they work quickly. They do not use high pressure sales tactics (like other Salem oil change places) to sell new wipers, air filters, etc. I really like this shop and the friendly, honest people that work there. When I came out to wipe the van down I noticed I had 2 different circular scratches on my passenger door that I KNOW FOR A FACT were not there before. An incident report was filed. When I followed up today I was informed that they have 2 signs up that state they are not responsible for any starches. So make sure you are aware you are stuck if this happens to you. I do not believe they did this on purpose but the way they handled the situation was absolutely terrible. The women laughed at me and the rest of the staff just talked to me as if i was stupid and kept making up stories to blame it on me. I've seen this place do AMAZING jobs on friends and coworkers cars but unfortunately my car was not fully cleaned, i didn't get a refund, and now i no longer have my keys.

The team member did not properly clean the windshield or back window, and when I exited the wash, my car was covered with water spots. In addition, the vacuum system did not work at all -- there was no suction, so I was unable to vacuum my car. When I reported this, the team member told me the vacuum was not working because of the cold weather. If that is the case, the car wash should not be operating or charging customers for services they cannot provide. To make matters worse, the receipt states "no refunds, all sales are final," which leaves customers with no recourse when services are not delivered as promised. This is unacceptable business practice. I will be reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau, as the poor service, inadequate equipment, and refusal to issue refunds reflect bad customer service and unfair treatment of paying customers.

I was not too surprised, as it had been a long time since I had washed it and there was some baked-on grime. The second time I was surprised. I parked under the wrong tree and got some kind of fruit dropped on the car. The fruit was still mushy when I went to the wash, but the light-touch service left an abundance of dropped fruit still on my hood, roof, and glass. I complained to the attendant, and he allowed me to go through again. This did not completely remove all the fruit, but it made a big difference so I drove home and went back over a couple of spots. I think in the future I will find a place where I can wash it by hand.
