Update ; PARENTS -- This Could Be Your Child…read more The state admitted it wasn't unfounded. My kids were believed enough that they couldn't rule it out. That alone tells you this center is unsafe But let me tell you something I don't need no preponderance of evidence to know the truth. I don't need no fancy paperwork. I got the truth sitting right in my house. I got the pain in my kids' eyes, I got the trauma in their behaviors, I got the evidence written all over their little hearts. It also sad that a teacher had to lose her job during this investigation because she spoke the truth about what really goes on behind closed doors at another kindercare location , but all the other ones choose not to be honest . it's also sad and sick that it usually takes a child being seriously hurt of no way of return for something you can't ignore or cover up before they finally call it substantiated. By then, the damage is already done. Quick lesson: Unfounded = didn't happen ( Kids was lying) Unsubstantiated = might've happened, can't prove it just means the staff covered for each other. Period. Y'all chose jobs over innocent kids. Substantiated = Happen because the adults spoke up , alongside the kids Note: The only part of the statement that was recanted/ corrected/changed was the name of the teacher. In the original report, we listed Leslie's name, but the very next day we learned the actual teacher responsible for the harm was Lidia Robles. SHAME ON THE ONES WHO LIED OR HELD THE TRUTH. Teachers covered their own asses to save jobs but my kids' pain is REAL #ProtectOurKids #PittsburgCA #PittsburgKindercare

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would…read more Choosing a preschool is one of the biggest decisions you make as a parent, and enrolling my son at San Marco Family Childcare & Preschool has been one of the best decisions our family has made. From day one, the communication has been exceptional. I always felt informed and connected through the daily updates, photos, and activity summaries. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing what my son was learning, creating, and experiencing each day. What truly sets San Marco apart is the genuine care they have for each child. They have created a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and build confidence. My son has absolutely thrived under their care. He is only four years old and is incredibly advanced academically and socially. While every child is unique, I truly believe his early childhood education at San Marco played a significant role in preparing him for success. They have done an outstanding job getting him ready for TK, and I know he is entering this next chapter with a strong foundation because of the time he spent here. I also appreciated how flexible and accommodating they have been over the past three years. As a working parent, having a preschool that is reliable, communicative, and genuinely invested in your child's growth makes all the difference. Most importantly, my son loved going to school. Every morning he was excited to see his teachers and friends, and that speaks volumes about the environment they have created. It is bittersweet that our preschool journey has come to an end, but we leave with nothing but gratitude. Thank you to everyone at San Marco Family Childcare & Preschool for loving, teaching, encouraging, and believing in my son. The impact you've had on his life and our family is something we'll always be grateful for. If you're looking for a preschool where your child will be loved, challenged, encouraged, and truly prepared for kindergarten, I cannot recommend San Marco Family Childcare & Preschool highly enough.

The teachers were very attentive to each student's needs, and we loved their creative lesson plans. There was a follow-up email sent to the parents after each class with photos. This was very helpful for the parents to know what they were learning during each class. We also met such wonderful parents and other students. The Director, Sandy McCracken was very responsive to any questions that came up throughout the school year and is so passionate about the program! They have so many fun seasonal activities for the kids! Would highly recommend!

It met my three non-negotiables: play-based learning, small class size, and quality educators. I am very pleased with the staff professionalism and home-school communication. The director, Mrs. McCracken, is very responsive to any questions or concerns, and she replies to emails so promptly. Responses are always more than adequate. The classroom teacher, Ms. Soares, is very knowledgeable and responsive, too. She sends weekly lessons plans and a daily recap of the children's day. Lessons and activities are developmentally appropriate. Also, she stays on top of kiddo's food allergy, especially when here are special events and the kids get little treats. Ms. Soares just has everything under control. The second classroom teacher, Miss Maddie, is always upbeat and positive. There are fun events for the children planned throughout the year, and sometimes there are opportunities for parent participation. It is such a treat to surprise my kiddo at school by showing up for a class party. My son just loves his teacher and is blossoming. CCC is truly a warm and welcoming community.
