I came to know this school through the Bay Church, but my experience left me disillusioned. The…read morestaff and teachers may claim to be Christian, yet their actions often reflect the opposite. Judgment is constant, cliques run deep, and teachers play favorites while showing little patience for children. Instead of encouraging growth, they silence voices and push kids to mature too quickly. The endless fundraising became unbearable--it seemed like every week brought another demand for money. And the Class Dojo app, which should have been a simple communication tool, turned into something that felt more like Instagram. I eventually deleted it out of frustration. What's most troubling is the disconnect between what's preached and what's practiced. Faith is spoken, but not lived. As Matthew 7:20 reminds us, "By their fruit you will recognize them." Parents deserve to see the reality: behind the polished image, this school fosters hypocrisy and division, not the values it claims to uphold.

Our family's experience with the preschool program at this school was exceptional. The preschool…read moreteacher and the program coordinator were warm and had a collaborative spirit. Kudos to the preschool program for making our child's early learning experience positive and enriching. We were very pleased with everything! Unfortunately, our experience following preschool did not meet the same standard. We observed a big shift in the approaches the school used. We had concerns about a lack of cultural sensitivity and limited willingness to engage collaboratively with parents. The disciplinary actions seemed developmentally inappropriate and punitive for young children still learning about social-emotional skills and impulsiveness. During meetings, we also encountered interactions with team members that felt dismissive and unpleasant. I lost faith in open, constructive conversations about our child's needs and progress. However, I think their academics were decent and appropriate for my child---my child performed well. Unfortunately, our child's teacher utilizes TikTok to post disparaging comments about parents. It was unprofessional and damaging to the sense of trust between them and us. My child's classroom environment also appeared overly focused on rule enforcement and behavior management through tools like ClassDojo. There was a lack of emphasis on teaching self-regulation or emotional growth. We hope the school will continue to build upon its strong preschool foundation and revisit its approach in kindergarten to support the holistic needs of its students better.

I just want to take a moment to give flowers to the staff and director at Clayton KinderCare…read morebecause they have truly been a blessing in our kids' lives. From the time Kali-Love and Bronx were just 13 months old all the way to 5 years old, Clayton KinderCare has been nothing short of a second home. And it wasn't just the twins even our oldest son has been going there since he was 7 years old, and he's 12 now. They've always shown him the same love, patience, and care. The protection and genuine support they've given our kids is something I'll always hold close. I never once had to question if they were safe or loved. They were treated like family, and that kind of environment is rare to find. The director and staff didn't just supervise they poured into our kids with heart, structure, and real support. That's a true village. I'm forever grateful for the foundation they helped build in all of them. If you're looking for a center that truly leads with love and puts children first, Clayton KinderCare is it.

For his first time in a school environment ever, his excitement for school was cultivated and nurtured at AMS which will continue on as he grows. Had no issues adjusting his schedule with trips or family functions. Maryam was very flexible for any appointments, and sent occasional pictures and videos with updates on his academic progress. We didn't always see him do certain things at home, but he did them with her at school. My wife and I could not be happier with the love, care and structure she provides. My boys can't wait to get there in the morning. Farideh is very committed to First Five child development values and incorporates Arts & Crafts, Music, Math, Reading and even Science into the everyday routine. My oldest seems to come home with surprising advances in each category all the time. It means so much to know his intellectual growth needs are being met so fully. The daycare is well stocked with fun and educational toys and plenty of room for group play or individual exploration. Farideh makes every effort to keep the environment fresh for the kids and modifies the play area frequently, rotating toys-- and books-- as needed. Nutritionally she strikes a great balance; she serves overall healthy food, very fresh and always within my kids' interest (not an easy task sometimes). Fresh fruits and vegetables are a common sight when I drop the boys off in the morning. She and her helpers have been extraordinary in the care of my youngest, and manage bottle feeding and some special nutritional needs with ease. The current crop of kids could not be nicer, and it only takes a short time around them to get a sense of their creative, outgoing, intelligent natures. All the parents have been very approachable, helpful, and communicative. Farideh's Daycare/Preschool is a wonderful place I get to bring my boys too, and I feel very blessed for it. It's wonderful to be able to trust her so much with the care of what's most important to me!
