It still got to me pretty fresh. The cheesesteak was good the steak was seasoned pretty well and the cheese was fresh nice and melted. If I were to order again I would try something different. But it was an ok experience. 3/5

I **so badly wanted to love Fat Sal's**. The menu photos plastered all over the wall looked…read moreridiculously good--like the kind of food that makes you immediately forget about your diet. We ordered one of their highlighted sandwiches, the **Fat Sal**, loaded with thinly sliced ribeye steak, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, fries, brown gravy, mayo, and garlic hero bread. Doesn't that sound AMAZING?! Sadly... **NOT.** The problem is that everything gets thrown into the sandwich and essentially becomes one giant, greasy, saucy, soggy food situation. After a few bites, we found ourselves wishing they had just served the onion rings and fries **on the side**. You really couldn't taste the onion ring because everything was competing for attention in this carb-heavy group project. The **ribeye, though, deserves some credit**--well seasoned, cooked just right, and probably the most successful part of the whole sandwich. They were actually pretty busy during our late-night visit, and the staff were friendly. We got ours to go since the seating is basically a casual standing/bar setup along the sidewalk. So... **we tried it. We checked the box. We gave it a fair shot.** Unfortunately, Fat Sal's and our taste buds have decided to go their separate ways. Not terrible, just not our thing. Sometimes a sandwich can have **too much of a good thing--and apparently mozzarella sticks + fries + onion rings + gravy + mayo + steak all fighting for the same bread is one of those times.** **Thanks for trying, Fat Sal's. We can officially say we've been there. **

It was really delicious, Goat Cheese is my favorite cheese and the flavors worked incredibly well together, the truffle is not overbearing either. The bread Avi (the owner) uses is a wheat bread that becomes perfectly crispy and is not too doughy. I like my paninis crispy and cheesy!! We also tried the Proscuitto de Parma and that was very good as well! The swiss and prosciutto work really well together. This place is on point and started off my day with some swagger.
